You had just moved into a new flat in London, which meant barely any furniture. You were just unpacking your last boxes of clothes, when there was a knock on the door.
You sprang up from your non-existent couch to go answer the door.
You open the door to find a guy about your age. Really, really cute. Brown, quite long hair and bright blue eyes.
"Are you Y/N?" He asked smiling.
"Yup" I replied and took the package.
"They accidentally sent me your package, I'm right next door"
"Oh!" You said. "Thanks so much"
A delivery man came behind him and tossed another package behind me, barely missing my face.
"Geez man, watch it" the cute guy said.
"Did he just protect me?"
I smiled widely. "Thanks" I said quietly.
"So...." I said. "I never caught your name?"
"Joe" he said. Another package was set behind Joe.
"Ugh im sorry" I went behind him and grabbed the box. "I'm new, so this is all my furniture and clothes"
"Oh no I understand" he said chuckling. "Want help?"
I felt butterflies in my stomach.
<Joes POV>
"That would be great, if you don't mind...." said Y/N.
"Of course" I thought, smiling probably giddily.
"Dang she's cute" I thought following her inside.
"So" I said. "When did you move in?"
"Three weeks ago"
"Wow" I said, shocked. "You seem we'll put together for moving alone for the first time"
We both laughed.
"I was a wreck when I first moved in on my own"
She giggled. "Well that was me about a week ago"
<Your POV>
I better make a good move. I feel my stomach churn, nervous.
"Well, it's making it a lot easier having some friends"
Joes face lit up.
"Definitely" he replied, breaking open a box.
After hours of talking and working (mostly talking) we finished my sofa.
We both sat down, tired.
"Two is better than one" Joe said.
I looked at him. "For sure"
Before I knew it, we both had fallen asleep.

I awoke and grabbed my phone from beside me. It was 9 pm. Joe was still sound asleep, making soft noises.
I smiled and laid back down, moving slightly closer to him.
<Joes POV>
I woke up at 12. I rubbed my eyes and looked across the couch. Y/N was sleeping soundly, looking really cute doing it. She stirred and than woke up.
"I'm sorry love" I said. "Did I wake you up?"
"No" she said. "Just cold"
I looked down at my hoodie, than looked back at her. Motioning with my hands, she scooted closer, so she was tucked into my sweatshirt, which I was using as a blanket. I took a deep breath, and put my arm around her.
I saw her smile, and I smiled too as I fell asleep.
