"how could i let something like this happen to you?" wonpils clouded mind heard, breaking through thick layers of fog.
the voice, he knew, was dowoons. the tone he used was so heart breaking, it was like dowoon wasnt right in front of him.
"woonie, are you okay?" wonpil asked, his ghastly figure curling around the door frame to see the younger in a deep sleep.
"that's strange. where'd the voice come from?" wonpil shrugged it off, and went back to doing whatever it was he was doing before.
wonpil woke up out of breath, heaving. the dream seemed so familiar, like it wasn't a dream at all.
he noticed the sky was a lighter shade of the normal darkness he'd wake up to daily. it must be near six, surprising because nightmares would cause Jim to wake up near three in the morning.
they were the same thing everytime.
he heard the smash of a window, he felt the impact of the ground on his delicate skin.
lights flashed everywhere, and his mother and father were gone.
sometimes when they'd end he'd remember seeing dowoon and thinking he never knew him.
he remembered feeling like him and dowoon were on opposite spectrums of the world.
he remembered he felt dead.
