I start to panic. I had to find a way out. I try to find anything to open the stupid door. I grab a bench throwing at the door. It broke to pieces and did nothing. Getting frustrated I grab a fire poker charging at the door. I try to pry the hinges off the door, but nothing. Then trying to pry the door opens, it simply bent the fire poker.
With the bent fire poker I break a window trying to get out to help mom. It's too small so I can only watch as the clans ride out into the forest.
"Mum! No. No. Mum." I cry out as tears fall from my face.
Allistor pulls me from the window back into the tapestry room. I was slightly wet from the rain, but he held me trying to calm me down. I cry onto his shoulder scared that I can do nothing to help mom.
Wait. There is. I sit up and go over to the tapestry trying to pull it down. Allistor realizing what I was doing, came up behind me helps me to pull it off the wall.
"Katyusha," I say mostly to myself.
Knowing exactly who to call I rush over to the door to the small window, sticking my head out of the window.
"Katyusha!" I yell out into the hall. "Katyusha! I need you! NOW!"
I noticed a few shadows moving around in front of the door. Three little bears came out. Realization dawned on me.
I gasp, "Oh no."
"What?" Allistor asks coming up next to me. I move over to allow him to see. He gasps as well. "That's not good. Please don't tell me that those are-"
"They're the triplets," I finish Allistor's sentence.
"They ate the cake?"
"They ate the cake."
I then spot Katyusha coming up the stairs.
"Katyusha," I say making everyone look at her.
Katyusha stood at the top of the stairs, key in hand. She then notices the three little triplets, now bears. Scared she presses up against the wall breathing deeply. Sighing I look over at the triplet bears.
"Get the key," I tell them.
Katyusha slowly starts to go down the stairs and sticks the key in between her breasts. The triplets growls, making her scream in terror and run away from the door.
"Needle and thread. Needle and thread. Needle and thread," I repeat trying to remember where it is.
I trip on the tapestry as I back up looking around. Allistor helps me up and I rush over to the chest and start to search the chest.
"Needle and thread. Needle and thread. Needle and thread. Ah, you beauty!" I repeat till I find it.
I hold the needle while Allistor holds up some threat he found searching the chest with me. I rush over to the tapestry, needle and thread in hand. Allistor sits next to me as I work on stitching up the tapestry. A small growl grabs our attention. We both look at the door to see a small paw holding the key in the window.
Allistor gets up grabbing the key and unlocking the door. With his help I was able to get the tapestry out of the room and down the hall and outside. The triplets follow us as we get onto Angus. Allistor steers Angus as I struggle to stitch up the tapestry.
"Steady, Allistor!" I exclaim trying not to fall off.
"I'm trying!" Allistor calls back.
"Angus! Easy, laddie!" I yell at my horse as he roughly runs through the forest.
Angus jumps over a fallen tree, making everyone cry out as we try to hang on. Arthur falls off hanging on just barely.
"Seamas, Dylan, help Arthur!" I yell to my two younger brothers, as they go to help our third brother.
I finish up the stitching. It was sloppy but it would do.
"Done! " I squeal, but shout out in surprise as Angus stops.
A wips appears in front of us. Soon a trail appears and Allistor pushes Angus to follow them. We ride as fast as we can, following the trail of wisps. As we reached the ring of stones I pull out an arrow and ready it in my bow. Allistor followed suit as well.
Just as we reached the ring of stones, I could see dad ready his sword above mom, who was pinned down by several ropes.
Raising my bow I shoot an arrow, stopping dad from killing mom. I jump off of Angus easily, my bow still drawn. Allistor follows my lead, jumping off just as easily with his bow drawn back.
"Get back," I yell at everyone. "That's my mother."
"Are jou out of jour mind, frau?" Dad asks me as I make my way in front of mom.
"Mom, are you hurt?" I ask glancing at mom.
Dad, suddenly knocks me out of the way and into Lord Hania. The lord uses his spear to keep me in place, even as I struggle to get out. I noticed Lord Alexander had a hold of Allistor, who was struggling in his grip a lot more than I was.
Dad raised his sword once more. Frightened for mom, I throw Lord Hania over me. Grabbing a sword I stop dad from striking mom.
"(y/n)!" Dad yells in shock.
I push dad back, cutting off the bottom part of his wooden leg, making him topple over.
"I'll not let you kill my mother!" I exclaim in anger.
The triplet brother bears ran over. They start to jump on dad making small growl noises as if attacking him.
"Boys," I sternly say.
"Boys?" dad questions after they get off of him and run over to me.
A loud stomp grabs everyone's attention. Luciano appears from the forest, his dark red brown fur having been hidden in the shadows.
"Luciano!" I yell out.
"Kill it!" Dad shouts to the lords and clansmen.
Everyone went after Luciano. They attack him with all they've got, but are easily pushed away with a swipe of his paw. Dad then runs up to Luciano and punches him in the face.
"Come on!" Dad antagonizes. "I'll take you with my bare hands!"
Luciano swipes Dad to the side. He then throws him into a rock by biting onto his peg leg. Luciano roars at dad bearing down at him. Taking my bow and arrows I fire at Luciano a couple of times. I go to fire another one, but Luciano swipes my bow out of my hands. I fall to the ground from the sheer amount of force of Luciano's paw. Luciano hovers over me.
My breathing increased as his face gets closer to me, growling. As he roars in my face I scream out in terror. I could hear Allistor yelling and a few arrows attach themselves to Luciano, as Allistor fires them.
Luciano lifts his head and glares at Allistor. His paw moves to where he's holding me down. The weight was painful on my chest as Luciano growls at Allistor who readies another arrow. Luciano deciding on what to do turns back to me. I could smell his horrible breath as he growls at me. I scream in terror again as he hears back to attack me.
Luciano is quickly pushed off of me. Mom had broken free of her ropes and was growling at Luciano, who growls back. Luciano tries to attack me, but Mom blocks him, growling fiercly.
I yell out, "Mom!"
Allistor helps me up and pulls me back away from the fighting bears. My heart thumped in my chest as I watch the two of them fight, fearful of mom's safety.
Luciano pushes mom onto one of the rock and onto the ground. Mom kicks him off. Luciano throws mom into the unstable rock creating a cracking sound. Luciano turns and starts to advance on me and Allistor. We walk back, me grabbing a spear in defense. Mom pulls Luciano back getting his attention. He goes to attack her, but mom dodges, making him head butt the unstable rock. Mom then repeatedly pushes him into the stone as it makes cracking sound.
Luciano suddenly pushes mom off towards us. He then slowly advances on the three of us. The stone rock cracks as it starts to fall, crushing Luciano just as he lunges towards us.
A blue light rises up from the rock that crushed Luciano. A spirit forms that looks like Luciano as a person. Looking directly at me he nods. After doing that he turns into a wips, flying away. I then look towards mom. Realization hits me as the sun starts to rise.
I gasp and say, "The second sunrise."
I run over to Angus who had stayed outside of the ring of stones. I drag the tapestry off of Angus and over to mom, throwing it over her. I wait a moment, but nothing happens. Mom whines, but is cut off as her mind turns into that of a bears.
"No..." I say my voice almost breaking. "I don't understand. I..."
I start to cry, kneeling in front of mom.
"Oh, mom, I'm sorry," I say as tears stream down my face. "This is all my fault. I did this to you. To us." Tearfully I hug my mom, now a bear. "You've always been there for me. You've never given up on me. I just want you back. I want you back, mommy. I love you."
The sunrise washes over us, but I still hang onto my mom. I didn't want it to end like this. I couldn't leave mom like this.
A hand touches my hair, rubbing it soothingly. Startled I look up to see mom has turned human again.
"Mom! You're back!" I exclaim happily.
Mom tearfully laughs and hugs me, kissing my face repeatedly.
"You changed!" I tell her.
"Oh, darling," Mom says brushing some of my hair behind my ear. "We both have."
Mom kisses my forehead again.
Dad run towards us calling out, "Sophia!"
He trips as his wooden leg is shorter than his actual leg, but he rolls over to us pulling the both of us into a hug. Mom and Dad both laughing.
"Sophia! Oh! AH!" Dad says grabbing mom dn kissing her passionately in a dip.
"Er... urgh!" I say slightly disgusted.
Dad breaks the kiss letting mom stand upright again.
"Oh, dear!" laughs out.
I then get my chance and hug dad. I notice the lords approaching.
Lord Hania is the first to speak, saying, "You're back. She came back to us."
Lord Romulus adds on, "It's a great day for this kingdom. The curse is broken."
As the lords come towards them, I notice mom is not wearing anything under the tapestry. So she's basically naked and theres three guys approaching us. Uh oh.
"Oh! Mum," I say gesturing to the tapestry.
Mom gets the hint and looks down, "Ooh! Erm...Dear?"
"Eh?" dad says
"I'm naked. Naked as a wee babby," Mom says making dad just stare at her. Mom slaps his shoulder knocking him out of his daze stare. "Don't just stare at me. Do something!"
Dad turns and notices the lords are standing in front of the three of us.
"Vhat zhe...?" Dad says but quickly holds his hands in front of mom. "Avert jour eyes, burschen (lads)! Show some respect!"
The lords turn their back, as suddenly the triplets, now human again, run over to us. Only problem is all three of them are naked! Dad laughs and catches Dylan, holding him up.
"Now zhat's vhat I call a Kleine nackte baby (Little naked baby)!" Dad laughs.
He throws Dylan up catching him. All the clansmen laughing at the scene before them.
"Now let's get back home," Dad says helping mom up, still covering her with the tapestry.
I wait around till everyone has already gone. Having already let mom know I was going to go back in a bit. My heart still thumping from the fight, but has calmed down more.
"You okay?" Allistor asks surprising me.
I smack his shoulder. "Stupid don't do that!"
Allistor chuckles putting his hands up in surrender.
"Sorry, didn't mean to frighten you."
"What are you still doing around here?" I ask curious as to why he was still here.
"Well I decided to wait for you once I say you not leaving with your family."
"Really? And why's that?"
"So I could tell you something?"
My heart thumped louder. Talk to me? About what?
"Okay tell me."
"I like you, (y/n). Through this whole curse and adventure I've fallen for you," He honestly tells me. Sincerity and love clear in his eyes.
My heart pounds louder, my breath caught in my throat. Thoughts raced through my head. Feelings I didn't realize what they were became clear. This whole time I was falling for him and I didn't even realized it.
"D-do you possible feel the same?" Allistor asks, stuttering slightly.
I look up at him through my eyelashes and nod my head, a sweet smile on my face.
"Yes I do, Allistor," I say honestly.
A grin appears on his face as he picks me up and spins me around. Our laughter the only thing to be heard. Allistor puts me down cupping my head in his hands. Our faces got closer as if drawn by a magnet. Finally our lips meet. The kiss was soft and loving. My eyes close. The only thing right now was Allistor and me, nothing else.
