I stared at Jimin and Hoseok from across the cafè.
I noticed that I have been staring for too long since someone tapped my shoulder, politety telling me to move aside so they can pass.
I got out of their way towards Jimin and Hoseok.
Jimin was the first to notice me.
"Yah, Jungkook-ah! Over hear!"
Hoseok whipped his head towards me, eyes wide.
I showed my bunny smile as I walked towards them.
"Hey"
I greeted.
"Hi Kookie, you look great today" Jimin complimented.
"I know" I replied with my sassyness.
"Uhmmm.... o..kay...? Anyways this is-"
"Jung Hoseok. Glad to meet you again Jungkookie"
He beamed at me.
"Wait... you two know eachother?"
"We.... uhm, bumped into eachother once" I explained to shorty.
"I'm surprised that you still remember that day Kookie"
"Anyways, how about you Hobi? Why are you here?" I asked.
"I'm here to celebrate two things actually. One for my friend's company and one for my... boyfriend's birthday"
He blushed and looked away, I could feel Jimin's stare boring into Hoseok.
"Woah! You have a boyfriend!? Wait.."
I gave him a smug look before continuing.
"Is it... your 'master'?"
He literally whipped his head up, bright red cheeks as Jimin choked on his drink.
"Jungkook. What. The. Hell." Jimin said while wiping his mouth.
"Let's not talk about this ever again..." Hoseok spoke as he was redder than a tomato.
Jimin and I both nodded as my espresso was delivered to our table.
"You like espresso?" Hobi asked.
"Uhm, no. Actually, this is my first time tasting it"
They snickered. I gave them a confused look, they only gestured for me to taste it.
I sipped a small amount.
it's bitter.
My face scrounched like a crumpled paper. I tried my best kept my composure by looking up to them with a dreamy look.
But they knew too well that espresso was too bitter for me.
They only busted out laughing and yeah, I didn't finish my espresso.
"Anyways... who's the lucky guy?" I asked a question that I didn't know the consequences if answered.
Hoseok was about to answer me when someone interrupted.
"That would be me"
I saw the blush on Hoseok's cheek grew again even though he was done blushing awhile ago.
I turned around to face the person.
Holy Moly.
He was goddamn handsome.
And... familiar....?
I don't know... something about him just... I can't really put my finger on it.
His eyes widened at the sight of me.
"K-Kookie..?"
That's when it hit me.
It's him. He's my brother, or should I even call him that?
My face dropped as I stuttered out,
"Yo-Yoonhi?"
His face went from shock to unammused.
"I'm sorry, you must've mistaken you for someone else. I'm Min Yoongi, and NOT Yoonhi"
"N-No! You are Yoonhi! You are my brother!"
"Fine. You want the truth? I WAS Yoonhi but now, I am Min Yoongi. A better version of my past and broken self!"
All eyes were on us. But right now, I couldn't care less about the attention we were getting.
"Ho-" Yoonh-gi interrupted.
"Look. If you want to talk, let's talk privately."
Jimin looked at us very confused and left out in the dark.
Hobi though... he looked like he understands everything that is happening.
Yoonh-- Yoongi groaned.
He grabbed my hand and dragged me into the bathroom.
This is all going so fast. He's right here! He's holding me! I can't-- this is too much!
He slammed the door shut in the bathroom.
We were both silent for awhile.
I was waiting for him to speak up. Say something. Anything.
I am hyperventilating right now. I feel like bursting out into tears.
He just stood there, wih an unreadable expression on his face.
Until finally, I bursted my emotions out.
"YOU! HOW COULD YOU LEAVE US LIKE THAT!? Y-YOU L-LEFt u-s.. y-you lef-t m-me..."
No answer.
"D-Did you kn-know how much - e-eom-ma and I m-missed you so m-much..!?"
Silence.
"I-I waited y-YEArS for y-you to r-return.. I-I thought th-that you'd ke-keep your pr-promise..!"
Nothing.
I sighed through my own broken sobs.
"But you never came..."
I felt my knees weaken, I fell down but he caught me.
He hugged me and engulfed me into his warm embrace.
"I'm sorry..." He whispered.
I stiffened.
He never was the one to say sorry or even apologize.
I only cried on his shoulder as he started to let out small sobs on mine.
"I-I'm sorry I w-wasn't the best b-brother to y-you... y-ou dese-rve be-t-ter.."
He spoke through his cries.
"I-I'm so-rry I-I couldn't be there for yo-you...I tr-tried to.. but I-I couldn't.. I--"
He held me tightly, but gently.
"I-I recieved a l-letter that both y-you and eomma di-died on a car cr-crash.. and I-I just ca-can't belive it.. I di-"
"Only eomma die-d, yet y-you n-never a-apperead on h-her fu-funeral"
"I-I'm sor-r-"
"Sh-Shut up.."
"Ko-Kookie I-"
"Shut u-up a-nd just h-hold me ti-tight"
"O-Oka-y, okay.."
We were in eachother's embrace for a good period of time.
Once again he spoke
"I really am sorry, my dear"
