Emily's pov
"So what has everyone done this week?" Hanna asks, sipping on her sugary coffee
"We enrolled Zoë in Rosewood Preschool" Aria proudly says
"My baby is a big girl now" she smiles as Zoë hugs her mom
"I remember when Lily and Grace were in Preschool" Ali laughs
"Em, do you remember their first day of Preschool?" She hysterically laughs
"Yeah. Grace was there an hour at the most and then got sent home" I giggle
Ali's pov
"Why have we never heard this story? What happened?" Spence asks
As Emily recites the morning of their first day at Preschool, my mind falls into a deep daydream and I replay the day in my head.
"Goodbye my gorgeous princesses. Mommy will miss you. We will be back at lunchtime" Emily smiled, handing our 3 year olds a small rucksack
"I don't want to go Mommy" Grace cried, hugging onto my legs
Grace was and still is a hugger. She will take every opportunity to hug people. Whereas Lily takes after me and is the complete opposite. Except from the occasional cuddle, Lily despises hugs; I honestly believe that she would rather embrace a cactus than another human- just like me Lily feels extremely awkward showing her feelings towards others. This day was no acceptation, Grace clung on to us for dear life at the same time Lily ran into the school without even saying goodbye.
"Mommies, peas don't leave me" Grace hysterically cried
"Aww Alison. We can't send her in, look at her" Emily said, embracing our distraught 3 year old
"No. Grace needs to go to preschool. Baby, Mommies are so proud of you. You are a big girl now, go make friends, have fun. We promise we and Mr. Teddy will be back here at lunch to give you a big cuddle" I smiled, scooping Grace into my arms and wiping her snotty button nose with a tissue
Grace reluctantly followed Lily into the Preschool, her eyes ran dry with tears and Emily's heart crumbled as our two baby daughters began to grow up.
Emily's pov
"We get it, everyone cried on their first day. Carson punched his teacher" Hanna laughs, playing with her sons long hair
"There's more to the story" I smirk looking over to Alison; who is staring into the distance in a complete trance. 'I wonder what she is thinking about?' I thought to myself
Ali's pov
"I hope they are okay" Emily worried, pacing up and down the living room
"Babe, they are okay. I promise" I smiled as I walked over to her and kissing her neck
"But they are only three, they are still babies"
"Em, they will always be our babies. I promise they are perfectly fin..."
My sentence was cut short by the loud ring of the house phone.
"It's the Preschool" Emily nervously said, answering the phone is a panic
"She did what? I don't think Grace would have done that. Four people? Are you sure it was Grace? Okay. We will come get her now"
"What is it?" I asked, beginning to panic
"Apparently Grace is biting"
"Our Grace? She won't even bite a piece of chocolate incase it has a family" I sarcastically smirked with confusion
"Well we need to go get her"
Once we arrived at the Preschool, we were shown 4 children with teeth marks on their arms. Apparently Lily was making friends which made Grace jealous so she bite them
"Out of both of them who would you have guessed would be the biter?" Emily asks our friends, breaking me from my trance
"Definitely Lily" Aria laughs
"Why Lily?" I question
"Because she is most like you. And you were definitely a biter, I can just see you biting chunks out of the other kids"
I open my mouth ready to argue my point against her, however, I quickly stop myself because if I argued I would be lying. My mom always had to collect me from preschool and even kindergarten because I bite all the other children
"You better not bite" Hanna warns Conrad as she bounces him up and down on her legs
"He won't Mommy. Or I'll bite him" Harper cutely smiles
"No you won't missy, you won't be biting anyone either"
"But he's my little brother, I can bite him back if he bites me"
"No Harper you cannot" Hanna breathily laughs
"H...Haw...Hawper" Conrad shouts
We all gasp as his first word rolls off his tongue
"He said my name" Harper blushes
"How come she was his first word? I'm his big bro, she's just an annoying...thing"
"Carson. Don't be a jealous brat. Conrad, can you say Mommy?"
"Hawper" Conrad giggles
"No, Mommy"
"Hawper"
"I gave birth to you. Why won't you say Mommy?
"Hawper"
"He's a brat as well" Hanna says, folding her arms in a huff
"Don't be a jealous brat Hanna" Spencer mocks
"Oh my god. I need to phone Caleb" Hanna excitedly shouts, pulling her phone from her pocket
"Hey sexy. What is it babe?" Caleb asks
"Conrad spoke. Say it again for Daddy" Hanna smiles, holding her phone up to her youngest son
"Hawper, C...Cawson, Daddy" he stutters down the phone
"You little shit. Say Mommy"
"Han, leave him alone" Emily laughs
"Uck. You're okay, Lily and Grace's first words were Mommy. Which is fantastic for you because that is both of you, so there is no competition"
"Abigail's first word was scwabble" Spencer laughs, putting on a high pitches baby voice
"Yes well I am the freaking last name he has said, and I'm still waiting"
"Mommy" Conrad shouts, pointing at me
"I will fucking kill you Ali" Hanna scream with rage, throwing herself toward me; in front of all our influential children
"It's not my fault. Stop being a psycho bitch. Who cares what their first words are?"
"Me. I care"
"Psycho bitch. That's funny" Lily laughs
"Lily what have we told you about swearing?"
"I'm sorry Mom"
"You should be sorry Lil. We don't want you turning into a psycho bitch like your mom" Carson laughs
"Carson Caleb Rivers, don't you dare use that language"
"Why? You did and Aunt Ali"
"That's because we are adults" Hanna tries her best to explain why they cannot curse
Emily's pov
"Why? You did and Aunt Ali"
"That's because we are adults" Hanna pathetically replies, trying to backtrack their inexcusable swearing
"Anyway who wants a cupcake?" I ask, to change the subject
7 normal children throw their hands up. Fighting over who will get a cupcake as if it's the apocalypse. However, Grace keeps her arms by her side and her face remains straight
"Don't you want a cupcake Grace?" I ask my gorgeous daughter
"No. He...or she might have family. And I wouldn't want someone to eat my family so no I'm okay"
"Grace, a cupcake isn't alive. It can't have a family"
"How do you know that?"
"Because it's a cupcake" I laugh
"Uck don't say you are becoming a vegetarian" Hanna sighs
"What's wrong with being a vegetarian? Grace I'm proud of you for caring for animals. If it wasn't for vegetarians you may never have seen a pig or a chicken because they probably would've all have been eaten" Aria smiles, hugging Grace
"I cannot believe she was a biter" Spencer laughs
"She does take after her mom, Ali constantly has her teeth stuck in people" I laugh "Both girls take after Alison"
"Well I personally thing I am an amazing person to take after. Considering my fabulousness, they are two lucky girls. Almost as lucky as you" she giggles sarcastically
"I am very lucky to have a wife as stunning as you" I blush, before kissing her
