Chapter 27-October 19 Saturday Night
“So…I had a good time…” Jack muttered after he climbed into the car, ready to take me home. “Did you?”
“Yes…thank you for bringing me… I know my chair is a burden sometimes…” I rambled as I stared into his eyes.
“It’s not a burden…” I glanced away, but he reached under my chin and turned my face back to him. “You will never be a burden,” he told before leaning in and pecking my lips. He pulled away as he said, “Never think that.”
“I won’t…” I replied as I kissed him again; then I leaned back, resting against my chair. “You better take me home now.”
He smiled as he commented, “Ok…but you will have to give me a kiss before you get out of this car.”
“Okay…” I giggled before he backed out of the parking spot and headed toward my house.
