Evelyn POV:
I searched for Mike everywhere in the town but I couldn't find him anywhere
"Guess he's in his home" I sighed, suddenly I noticed the skates' shop
I took all the money that I had in my pocket
"80$...." I got inside and looked at the skates I desired for
I took them and went to the counter
"Evelyn, Good to see you" I sighed, knowing who is it
"Hello Cole..." I said quietly
"Finally buying the roller blades? I could teach you how to use them if you'd like" He said with a smirk
"I prefer to fall on my b*** then falling for you" I told him and put the 80$ on the counter
"Keep the change, I don't need a bag" and with that I've left
This kid got the hots for me ever since we were in kindergarden, Why can't he just take a hint??
(In the skate area)
I put on the skates and started to try some moves but ended up falling.
Well here it is: I LOVE roller blades but I don't know how to skate...
But there's no way I'm letting Cole touching me!
"Altight, One more time" I said quietly and got up
"Leg to the front and- WHOAAA!" I called out in surprise as I slipped but someone caught me
"You should really be careful" I looked up and smiled
"Mike!" I said happily, He smiled
"What are you doing?" He asked
"Trying to learn how to skate" I told him and was about to start, I heard him sighing and walks closer
"You need to stand straight and keep your eyes on a spot" He said and started to fix my stand
"You seem to know a lot about that" I told him
"Well yeah, When you're growing up in a farm, You learn things" He said as he helped me to sit down and sat next to me
We looked at eachother for a sec and looked away
"Um... Listen! I... I just found out what happened to your parents... Was that what you saw in the butcher's store?" I asked him
"mhmm" He hummed, making me sigh and stay quiet again
"It was a miracle that I got out of there alive... I was just going out to check on something and then it happened... They were trying to reach for me" He said and wiped his tears
"I'm sorry... It's the first time I'm talking with someone about this" He said
"Were you ever trying to stop those memories?" I asked him as the wind blew my hair
"I tried, with other memories... but it always came back" He said
"Wish I could help" I said quietly.
"So... Do you want to hang out sometime?" He asked, changing the subject
"I'd love to" I told him
Eve POV:
"So what about you Evelyn?" Bill's voice shook me back to reality
"Excuse me?" I asked in confusion
"Weren't you listening?" Beverly asked
"Sorry... I found it really hard lately not to get lost in my thoughts... Guess it's because I'm still getting all of my memories back" I told them
"It's alright, So any luck with your life?" Mike asked
"Well, I'm a secretary in a successful barbershop in San Antonio... I have my own apratment... Normal life I guess" I told them
"And family life?" Mike continued
"My parents are in a nursing home... and I'm not married... or have a boyfriend" I told them
"Don't you guys find it weird? None of us have children or family" Ben said
"It's the curse of IT... We hated our families for doing us things we didn't like: Holding us back, ignoring us, bullying us... IT watched us and saw everything" Bill said
"What?" Mike asked
"I remember the day when I saw IT again, in Bev's house..." I started to explain
Evelyn POV:
I reached Bev's house and knocked on the door, Her father openned the door
"Hello Evelyn" He said in a husky voice, I did my best not to gag, His breath was stink, He's probably drunk again
"Hello Mr. Marsh, Is Beverly home?" I asked, Suddenly I heard a loud scream
"BEVERLY?" I called out and entered the house
"BEVERLY?!?!" I called again as I ran upstairs to the bathroom
"Beverly? AHHHHHHH!!!!" I screamed in horror as I saw what happened
The whole bathroom was covered in blood that came out of the sink, Beverly was shriveled in the corner, also covered in blood
"Beverly!" I ran over to her and knelt down next to her, Her father came in
"What hapenned? Why were you screaming?" He asked, I gave him a 'WTF man?' look
"Don't you see it? Don't you see the blood?" I asked him
"What blood?" He asked in confusion
"She's dreaming... I-I saw a spider on the sink but he- he's gone now" Bev stuttered out
"What did you do to your hair?" He suddenly asked and he looked really angry
"I... I -"
"It was me Mr. Marsh... I accidently stuck a gum in her hair and the only way to get it off was to cut it" I lied to him, He sighed
"Too bad... It looks so boring now" and with that he left, When I was sure he can't hear us, I turned to look at Bev
"Beverly, What happened?" I asked her and put my hands on her shoulders
"I don't know... I started to hear voices of calling for help from the sink and then the hair I cut came out and the blood exploded out of the sink. Why can't he see it?" She kept rumbling and freaking out
"Bev! Calm down" I told her
"We have to call the boys" I sighed
"Is- Is my hair really boring?" She suddenly asked
"What? NO! It's beautiful and I love it, Go to your room and I'll go get you a towel" I told her, She nodded and left, stumbling.
I looked at the sink while taking my recording tape out
"I don't know what just happened here... But whatever it was, Beverly's dad didn't see it... Just like my dad didn't see the dog...
What's going on here? I wish I'd knew
And Bev's dad! He's a son of a *****
People like him make me wish we'll never have children" And with that I shut it off
Eve POV:
I finished playing the recording
"I guess that IT heard your wish..." Mike said
"I didn't mean it guys! I'm sorry" I tried to apolagize
"Save it Blondie, It was IT's fault" Richie said
"Light brown- blonde Richie" I sighed
"Richie's right Evelyn, Maybe it listened to you but it doesn't matter" Mike said and rested a hand on the top of mine, I smiled and sighed.
"Welp, I don't know about you guys, it was a fun meeting but it's time to scuddudle" Richie said
"Wait what?" I asked
"Look Blondie, I love you a lot but come on! You don't really suggest that we'll try to kill this thing" He said and was about to leave but I grab his hand
"Richie look, I know you're scared, We all are, But IT is back and we all had a promise, We promised to eachother that we'll come back and Mike stayed in Derry so he could remember and he did his best to gather us" I told him, Everyone looked in different ways and looked akward
"What?" I asked in confusion, Richie sighed and sat down
"Well, Let me pay for it" Richie said and was about to put his money out
"Too late guys, It's already settled" Mike said, We all looked at him in shocked
"What?" I asked
"No changing" Mike said sternly, The waitress came in with fortune cookies, I chuckled
"I used to have one of these anytime in my pocket" I smiled.
"Yeah, Too bad it didn't help you to see this coming: You're gonna get eaten alive by a clown, Have a good day" Richie said and we all laughed
I broke my cookie and screamed when worms started to get out of it, Everyone screamed too as other things started to come out of their cookies
IT found us
"Is everything alright?" The waitress came back worried
"Yeah, My friend just had an asthma attack, He's okay now" I quickly said to cover it up, The waitress nodded and left.
"You know what? I agree with Richie; Let's scuddudle out of here" I said and we all left quickly
