After celebrating New Years a couple days ago, life was more Hectic than usual. Taking care of a baby and a puppy was hard work. On top of that trying to write music was even more difficult than usual.
Austin and Ally were always able to write a hit song in hours, but with Ava being high maintenance and a puppy running around, writing " in hours"wasn't always ideal.
Austin closes the door with the baby monitor in his hands and walks towards the piano
" okay.. the baby is finally asleep, the puppy who shall be named later is out in the back let's get this shit done" he said
" yea we can't keep extending the deadline.." she said playing some notes
He sighs.. " who would have thought having a child and dog is like having a whole classroom"
He was stressed out it was as if he roles were reversed
" sit baby, we need to be focused." She said
He sat down
" Ally.. what if she wakes up.. maybe we should have.." he began
" Austin" she said
" and if the dog craps in the grass I'm gonna.." he said
" Austin." She said again
" and the song isn't finished.. I'm gonna.."
" AUSTIN!" She raised her voice
" relax!" She said " my God.."
He looked at her
" take a deep breath.." she said inhaling and exhaling
He mimicked her
She nodded " okay."
his face turned red
" breath out!" She said
* exhales*
" Austin we've written music stupid wasted, and deathly hung over.. we've written music when there was a hurricane and power went out. And we can do it now.. it's a baby, and dog!! She's sleeping, and puppy is outside we can do this, it's not that deep." She assured him
She slowly let go of his shoulders
" okay you're right, you're absolutely right.. I'm freaking out for no reason!" He giggled nervously " I've been up all night."
She cocked her head to the side and held his face " aw honey, do you need a nap?"
He nodded
" awww" she teased
He rolled his eyes
" well too bad! Like you said we gotta get this shit done!!" She said
They worked on the song
Until Ava decided to join in
She played the piano and sang while he walked around holding the baby and singing
Then they'd give the puppy attention in the same matter
" okay, we're almost done! That only took All day" she said as the dog licked her face
" yea.." he said "she agrees" Ava fussed loudly in Austin's ear he smiled " okay Avie we hear you it's your turn to get attention"
Ally sighed " I want attention too!"
He smiled and shook his head.
....
Ally was out by the pool doing yoga while her dog ran all over
" boo!" Austin snuck behind her
" oh My God!" She yelled out
" I told you never to do that!" She shoved his chest
" sorry!" He laughed " I couldn't resist!"
" I need total relaxation!" She said " today was stressful.." she said wrapping her arms around his neck
" hey I realized something." He said
" what?" She asked
" tomorrow January 11th" he said
" what about January 11th?" She teased
" it's our Anniversary!! Ally how could you have forgotten!" He said
she laughed " I didn't forget! You just realized it.."
" I didn't just realize it.." he said
" but two years.." she said
" we've been together for longer" he said holding her close
" yea but who's counting.." she said
" too bad we still can't get a baby sitter.. everyone's busy" he said
" we'll figure it out tomorrow" she said kissing his cheeks
She suddenly let go and picked up the puppy
" I have a name finally.." she said
" what is it?" He asked
" since she's white and fluffy and soft.. this is marshmallow!" She said cheerfully
" we aren't naming the dog marshmallow" he said
" you named the baby, I name the dog" she demanded
" marshmallow it is" he said
....
The next day
They got ready for their anniversary date
The babysitter they found would be here any minute
Ally fluffed out her hair and gave her self one last look In the mirror
" wow look at my hot wife" Austin gaped at Ally
She turned around confidently with her pre pregnancy body and smiled at him..
" two years ago we got married today, and I'm still crazy over you" he smiled
She smiled too
He took her hand and spun her around in her body fitting mini dress
" you're so stunning" he said " are you sure you had a baby almost 4 months ago?"
She blushed hard as he pulled her in and kissed her
She pulled away.. " save some of that for later" she teased
" oh are you applying something?" He smiled
" mhhmm" She said against his lips
Ava cried through the baby monitor
" every time" he said " it's like she knows.."
She smiled and left the room
Ava's cries completely dies down when she's in her mothers arms
" so where's Carries mom?" Austin asked
" I have no idea." Ally said cuddling Ava
They sat down on the couch in the nursery
Ally cradled Ava in Attempt to get her back to sleep
" life was much simplistic when we could just take our time and head out the door" he smiled
" yea.. I know.." she said smiling
" but I wouldn't change it" he said
Ally checked her phone " looks like she's coming with us"
" she canceled?" Austin asked
" yea something about a rainstorm" she said
" Ava looks like your coming with mommy and Daddy" he said
They got Ava dressed in the cutest little dress ever
" good thing I got us the later reservation" he said
She smiled " I love how you plan"
" okay let's head out the door" he said carrying Ava
Once they opened the door the rainstorm slammed it shut
" I guess we're staying home then" he said
" yea.." she said " I have a better Idea"
" what?" He asked
She smiled
The family sat in the home theater in their pjs watching old videos from their high school years, Austin's tours, Allys tours and their tour as a Duo
" I forgot how little you were" Ally said
" me? Look at you! And Trish and Dez!"
" billion hits was my favorite song you've performed on this tour" she smiled at him
" Ava look at Daddy.. look how cool I looked" he pointed to the tv
" ah man look at this behind the scenes one... it was right before we got engaged I forgot I recorded this" he said
Hey Ally, by this time, I would have asked you to marry me.. if you said yes, you'd be watching this, but if you said no.. this is awkward, and you're not Ally, so stop watching
Anyways.. how could you say no.. not trying to be all egotistical.. but baby I love you so much.. and I wanna give you more than I'm giving you.. you gave me so much more
" woah.. you never told me about this" she said
" hey that's enough.. it's gonna get corny" he said taking the remote
" wait I wanna see this" she said
I remember meeting you for the first time, thinking you were this dorky girl.. I never knew that day I'd meet the love of my life
* gets emotional*
Ally turned to Austin who was embarrassed at his own tears in the video
He snuggled Ava tightly
We became the unlikely partners... with me being all cool and you not so cool.. but the one thing that always brought us together was our love for music and
Everyday I got to spend with you was the best day ever.. the more I spent with you the more I fell for you..I fell so in love with you.. and when we got together.. I never wanted to stop telling the world how much i love you.. you gave me something no one else was able to fulfill and that was love.. the way you love me is so hard and 109% and I love you the same.. even more..
I believe in true love, I believe in destiny.. because no matter how life tried tearing us apart, we always found each other.. just like I believe in other life we will find each other again.
Ally wiped her tears and she smiled as she watched the video
I love you so much Ally Dawson, and I can't wait to marry you.
" you hid this video from me the whole time!" She said sniffling
" no I forgot about it.. I meant to show it you, but we were just too busy being happy and engaged I forgot" he said
" and two years later, look where we are" she smiled
She leaned on to his shoulder
And held his arm
" and I still fall in love with you everyday.." he said
She smiled at him " and I love you too.. you mean everything to me"
" oh look what conveniently came on" he said looking at the video of their first dance as a married couple
He stood up with Ava " would you like to dance with us mommy?"
" sure" she said he took her hand with his free arm and they danced around
Ava smiled at her parents smiling at her then at each other
They kissed her chubby little cheeks
Spending their anniversary in the best way possible
No fancy dinner.. just being with each other in the moment with their baby
