We walked over to the main entrance, yesterday, the sun was almost up, so we couldn't have a party like Jed wanted. But today they set up all the normal stuff, but Attila had found a Cherokee machine. He was now singing in Hun.
Ahk and I joked around and flirted. Attila finished his Hun version of twinkle twinkle little star. It translated to something like this;

I laughed at his sudden change of topics. Larry yelled at us. "IT'S YOU GUY'S TURN!" Ahk lead me up onto the stage (yes they found a fold out stage). I grabbed a mic and began singing.

Once the song was over, Larry walked over to us with Jed and Octavius, and Saja went to go join Columbus to talk about their adventures. Kahmunrah also came on stage. "What should we sing?" Octavius asked, and I got an idea. I put on "Hot mess" by Cobra Starship.
Larry sung the first bit, and I sung the chorus, looking at Ahk when singing.
"Well, cause you're a hot mess, and I'm falling for you, and I'm like, hot damn, lemme make you my boo."He smiled as I sung and eventually joined in.
After that, I walked with Ahk back to his tomb. I sighed when I saw Aziza there. She was crying. I couldn't help but feel bad. I sat down next to her. "Hey." She responded with a nod. "You know, it's not like life is over. Kids come and admire you. Sometimes, villains are the most loved characters in a story." I put a hand on her shoulder. "You don't understand. How could anyone love me? I'm anxiety, I'm fear, I was only made for evil. And I failed even that. I have failed my destiny." She cried. "Well. You don't have to listen to other people. A destiny can change." I started. She cut in. "Look, destiny is what you were born with. Like, if you're born a girl. You can only stay a girl. If you were born a boy, you stay a boy. If you were born evil, you stay evil." She sighed.
"Look at me." I ordered and she looked up. "Sure, that was the way in the olden days. But now, you need to learn that times have changed. If you feel like you aren't comfortable with being a boy, you can be transgender, and be a girl. Or the other way around. Or you can be both. Bisexual and non-binary. You can be gay, or lesbian. There's nothing wrong with that. As long as you're happy with who you are." I smiled. "Sure, some people won't accept you. But true friends will." She wiped away her tears and smiled. "Thanks." She said softly. Then she walked out.
I noticed that the tomb was a bit off, and took off the lid. Jed and Octavius were standing in there. They were ripping the inside of the tomb. "Whoah, whoah. WHAT are you doing?" Ahk sighed. "Sorry mate, er, we got stuck inside here and we didn't know it was your bed... or tomb... sorry." Jed looked down. "Where am I suppose to sleep, now?" Ahk threw his hands up. "I can fix it, your honour, but it'll take until tomorrow to be fixed." Octavius spoke up. "I'll try to fix it with the tablet." He placed his hand on the tablet and it started glowing. Suddenly, we were somewhere else.
"Uh..." Ahk looked around. We were inside some park or something. The weather was humid and hot. I looked around and gasped. "IS THAT..." I pointed at the shop in front of me. "Yes... if you're asking, I'm pretty sure that is a dumpling shop..." He said slowly. "Are you okay?" He asked me. I didn't hear, I was too busy looking around in awe.
"This place... i grew up here, since a few months after I was born, my parents took me back here, and we only went back to Canada after I went to preschool. We're in Haikou, China." I smiled and grabbed his arm. "Building 3J." I walked into the entrance to the tall apartment tower. I looked to my right and saw a familiar face. (Translated) "Hello Miss, It's 小雪."
She smiled brightly. "Hey! You're back! Wow, you've grown." She grinned and handed me some keys. "Here, your grandparents left these for me to keep. Well, have a great stay, I gotta go back to work." She walked back to her desk, and we entered the elevator.
25th floor, fourth door. I unlocked it and walked in. It was home away from home. I opened the air conditioning. It was almost dark because of the time difference here and back in America. "Now your sleep schedule should be normal." I laughed.
We went to sleep because we were tired from earlier.
*Ahk's POV*
I woke up at about 7:00. Snow was already awake at that time. I wanted to ask her about the magical moving box earlier, I think she called it the elevator? I was about to speak, when I noticed something. "You seem like you didn't sleep at all. Are you okay?" I said, concerned. She smiled, "Yeah, just... nightmares... they've been getting worse this month." She sighed. I wished I could help her somehow. "Welp, you must be hungry, I had some money left in my wallet in my room." She pulled a bank card and about $450. "First, I need to go to my aunt and ask her to help me take some money out of my bank account. Then, we'll purchase plane tickets back to New York." She then looked at me. "Also... you might want to change your clothes..." She went to the nearest room and pulled out a T-shirt and long pants. "There weren't any shorts, so... yeah, these are my cousin's." I thanked her and went into another room to change. When I came back, she was paying a man at the door, she put a white bag on the dining table.
"These are THE most delicious dumplings in the world." She pulled one out and bit into it. I was hungry, so I grabbed one at took a bite. It was perfectly spiced and it was salty with a bit of sweet sauce.
After we ate, we got on a cab, and the man drove us to a hotel. "Why a hotel?" I asked. "Well, my aunt is the manager." She smiled and switched to Chinese to ask the front desk to see the manager. Snow didn't know that I could roughly speak a bit of Chinese. The person replied with something like; "Sorry, you'd have to make an appointment firs- wait, you don't happen to be her niece, right?" Snow nodded, and the girl gasped, she quickly called someone to let us go see her aunt.
We walked to another magical box thingy and rode it to the 40th floor. I tried to act normal, and not like I had no idea about anything in the modern age. When the door opened, we walked into an office, sitting in the desk was a lady in her 40s. She had redish blackish brownish hair. She looked up and smiled when she saw Snow. "Oh my god! Snow! I missed you! How's my english? I've been practicing." She had a Chinese accent, but nevertheless, she was speaking pretty fluently. "Hi auntie, your english speaking is fine." Her aunt beamed. "Oh, uh, hey! Who's this guy?" She asked. "Erm... he's my..." She blushed and I finished her sentence. "Boyfriend." She looked at me and smiled. Her aunt smiled and teased Snow. "He seems well toned and lean. You've found yourself a great boy. How old are you?" She asked. I froze, I couldn't just say 5,000. That would be weird.
"Erm, I'm... 24 and a half." She believed it. "So... what's your career?" "Well, I'm a ph-.... oto technician..." I had no idea what that meant, but I couldn't just say pharaoh. She asked me a bunch more questions until Snow interfered. "Hey, auntie, can you help me take some money out of my bank account? I need to get us tickets back to New York." Snow sighed. "Only if you tell me what's going on. Don't think I haven't noticed your boyfriend acting strange." Damn, she had a keen eye. Snow looked at me and I nodded. She walked over and closed the door. Then she began explaining about everything.
"WHAT! YOU'RE THE AHKMENRAH?" Turns out she was an Egyptian archaeologist before she became a hotel manager. I nodded. "Prove it." She crossed her arms. I snapped my fingers and I changed back to my normal clothes. She gasped.
After her aunt finally agreed to help us, she invited us to lunch at the restaurant downstairs. I was glad they had Egyptian food as well.
"God, I'm tired." Snow yawned as we entered the apartment. We headed for bed. I lay awoke for a while looking at the stars through the window. Then finally fell asleep.
I woke up in the middle of the night. I decided to go check on Snow to see if she was still having her nightmares. I opened the door and decided to get into bed with her. I closed my eyes for a while, then heard something like a sob. I opened my eyes to check on her. She was crying in her sleep. She was saying things like; "Don't leave me alone, again. You left me." I put my arm around her. "Hey, it's going to be okay." I said softly. She curled up into a ball. "I'm alone." She sighed. "No you're not. I'll always be here for you. I'll never leave." I brushed her hair behind her ear. She smiled and snuggled into my arms. I doze off after a while, wondering why she said what she said.
