battle
I felt like this was a battle, I have to win. They found out I was spitting my pills into the trash and they had to force me to swallow the pills. Riley, and the others are coming to visit me really soon.
My mom and dad had left they said that they would be back. Lucas walked in and in came Riley behind him.
"Hey" He said coming over to me and placing a firm kiss on my lips
"Hey" I answered back weakly as I hugged Riley
"How are you holding up?" Riley asked with a hand on my leg
"I'm better now.. I'll be out soon. Then we can go shopping" I teased and Riley giggled. I hugged everyone else and we all talked and joked for a while.
"Hopefully, you'll be out soon." Farkle said and he walked out the door
"See you later guys" I said as they all except Lucas walked out of the door
"Get out soon." Lucas chuckled as he sat next to my bed
"It's been a constant battle with these damn lungs" I said giggling. He held unto my hand.
Lucas left and later that night, I had felt myself feeling violently ill again. My doctor came and gave me the medicine. I swallowed them and realized, I have to do this for my family. For my friends. I have to live.
