Hey, guys...I promised to update, and I know that just posting the prologue was cruel and I'm sorry but I couldn't wait to publish it and get feedback... I'm sorry, really. But hey, here's that update! :D
The world is different now. Life is different now.
You? Your kind? Yeah, you guys no longer exist. You were ultimately obliterated. By us. So first? Yeah, I want to say sorry for my elders. They can really be a bunch of paranoid Orias.
Oh yeah. We, the beings who are currently inhabiting what used to be your planet? We're called Oria. That is our species. Yeah, we're sorta strange, at least, we were to you guys. You see, we look similar to how you all did. We have the same structure, at least, outwardly. we speak the same language, eat the same things. We're just more, biologically advanced.
Like me? I'm Cerifine. I do stuff with fire. I can breathe it, create it, play with it, and use it to my advantage. It also gives me amazing strength when I'm immersed in it.
But, there is another side to the Oria. A colder side I honestly never knew much about. I just knew that other Oria with that side could destroy me, destroy my fire.
What doesn't mix with fire, ever? Water. And ultimately, ICE.
