MAJA ÖSTLUND WAS WHAT YOU WOULD CONSIDER A DREAMER. She dreamed of being the most popular girl in school, getting stellar grades, and dating one of the most popular guys in school: Chris Schistad. But that was all they were. Dreams. A concept so simple yet so far from Maja's reality.
Far from the most popular girl in school, Maja lives in a junky—yet—cozy apartment with her older sister Lynnea, who is struggling to get by and take care of her baby sister after their parents packed up and left them without a trace. It also doesn't help that Lynnea is still a bit bitter at the fact that she had to throw her life away for her younger sister, giving up her own modelling career to become a bartender instead.
With sudden news of the pair getting evicted from the apartment, Maja and her best friends Halle and Sebastian have to come up with a way to make sure that the Östlund sisters stay, all while getting tangled up in Russ Bus and school drama— of course. It also doesn't help that nothing ever is simple with the Östlund sisters, and nothing ever goes according to plan.
