hello buddies it's been forever because I keep forgetting this book exists
but last night I saw my absolute favorite band Palaye Royale and I'm here to tell y'all about it bc my irl friends don't give half a shit woo
so this local band I really like called Before the Streetlights (check them out!!) played and they were waking down the line outside talking to people and introducing themselves. so Tyler and Josh (singer and bassist) come over and they're like "hi there we're ..." and all that. im like "yeah I know y'all, ur hella chill. can I get a picture?" they looked all surprised and Tyler was like "oh yeah sure, we haven't been asked for pictures before OK" so that was cool lmao
then we got in and my mum didn't really wanna go so she stayed in the bar area while I wandered about the small very tiny live music section.
so almost as soon as I get in I see Sebastian and I'm like !! ay !! so I go up and he hugs me and you know what he's rlly sweet ok I love that boy
Lmao I forgot about this chapter so you know a week and like 3 days has passed but imma still tell y'all what happened
I left again I don't even know how long it's been but like the concert was on Nov. 9th and now it's the 22nd so
anyways I head straight for this little cramped area where the merch tables were for all the bands except Mirror Eyes. I go to the PR table because I apparently love giving them all of my money. so I swear I was going to buy ONE shirt and both their albums and that was it I swear okay
but those FUCkers had a poster of Rem out that had "if you spend $40 you get me FREE!!"
so my bitch ass got a shirt, their album, their EP, and a lanyard to get to $40 so I could get the poster of Rem because I love him he's my son
lmao it's funny I don't love them like I want them or am actually really attracted to them. I mean yeah they're attractive but I love them more like "u guys are so chill and nice to people and u make wonderful jams and i think youre blessings and great people and u make me happy and I rlly rlly appreciate your existence"
it's just like appreciation so strong it's love idk but I love all of them they're wonderful
ANYWAYS yeah I got the poster and all that and then I watch the bands
okok so this band called Mirror Eyes goes on and they're pretty good, and then Before the Streetlights. it was kinda funny because I was highkey the only one there that knew them because I was the only one really into it for the most part and I was the only one singing along lmao
yeah after them this band called The Strive comes on, they're pretty good too
but I mean other than BTSL I'm didn't know those other bands at all so you know I'm not rlly here to talk about them

anyways Seb and Em come on and start setting their stuff up u know nbd but these dudes take 6874 years to set up
the girl next to me was so nice honestly bless her what a good human being. she moved so I could be in front row with her and talked to me the whole time and turns out she's friends with the guys in PR so that was lit
but anyways she's like "yeah they don't have Rem come up until right before they actually play so everyone's more excited when he comes on"
but yeah she was right everyone lost their shit when he came on
all 50 people
not even kidding it was a small crowd, no more than 100 people
also his shirt barely lasted one song. some girl behind me said "the longest I've ever seen him keep a shirt on is about 3 songs"

ya anyways they were so good I mean they really do put on incredible shows, they interact with their fans a lot and it's really great. at one point Rem accidentally spit on me???? idk that was cool I guess you know whatever
and then at one point there's a line in one of their songs that's like "well I'm still here right here right in front of your face" and then as Rem sang that line he walked up to the edge of the stage and like,,,,, got really really close to my face and grabbed the top of my head and just yelled that in my face
it was a fun time
and then like since the girl I was next to was good pals with the guys Sebastian kept walking to the edge of the stage and wiggling his butt in her face to tease her and we were pretty close so you can imagine how I felt
I felt like Sebastian's ass was (almost) in my face
and they covered MCR, everyone got emo
but yeah overall it was a great show and I highly recommend checking them out, they're great guys with great jams
so they did m&gs at their merch table

basically I brought $80 to spend and $75 went to PR
so then I go over to BTSL's table with my $5 like "can I please have ur EP ily"
and they're like "heck yeah!!! and a free sticker !!!! and u know what U CAN HAVE A FREE SHIRT WITH THAT TOO !!!!!"
so yeah a sticker an EP and a shirt for $5 that's lit
so yeah that's about the end, I left before Metro Station came on bc fuck them I don't like them and I jammed the heck out to Boom Boom Room on the way home lmao
