i'm bedridden on wednesday as well. the lights are too bright and all the sounds are too loud. mom came into my room and i could barely handle having the blinds open. she said i better stay home again, so i am.
my attendance record is going down the drain.
i'm shakily trying to figure out what is written on the warm sheet of paper and the cold sheet of paper, though they aren't warm or cold anymore. they're just regular sheets of paper.
i'm staring at the black ink. it swirls and dances across my vision, and i squint at it, even though i know that's not going to do much.
and then, almost miraculously, i can begin to make sense of the words on the page.
