Life is hard with help along the way,
The trick is not pushing that help away
Like sunshine covered by moonlight,
Or peace postponed for war's blight;
Do I give up or give in?
Will I walk the dark path alone,
Or swallow pride and walk the friend zone?
My fears and anxieties are great,
And time continues to darken my faith;
Death is an easy escape used by the cowardly,
To leave would be a blight against my God Almighty,
When on life's failing floor,
My King opens Peace's door!
