I didn't think. I didn't think at all about what I was doing, what would happen, how life might turn out, anything. It all went to hell the second I thought it might be a good idea to look her in the eyes and touch her. That's why I stay away from people, from anyone and everything; to keep me from getting attached...
But God she's beautiful. She is helpful and kind and... Just gorgeous. I wanna be with her, even just as friends, but I don't wanna hurt her. She seems too innocent and pure for this world.
She seems shocked by the fact that I'm holding her hand, overall the fact that I'm choosing to touch her, and frankly I'm shocking myself as well. I've never been so open to someone before.
I'm probably gonna regret this, aren't I?
