Before she met him, she was dying. Dying for the day to end, dying for the next to come, but, as soon as his stunning eyes met hers, she felt as if she was alive for the first time.
Day 1 was that day, the day she felt something stirred up in her. His eyes interlock with hers, the blue and brown that met hazel. A smile broke her lips, blood rushed to her cheeks, yes she was alive. Day 1 was when it all began.

A pair of mismatched eye looked over to her.
"Nice to meet you, my name is Fate and we'll be in the same class for the rest of the year."
He smiled.
"Nice to meet you too. My name is Vitae."
Fate chuckled at him.
Vitae frowned.
"What's so funny?" He questioned her.
"Nothing!" She giggled. She held out her hand and smiled.
"I'm just happy to meet someone else with an unusual name like mine."
He took it.
"Oh." He, too, laughed.
"Same actually."
The rest of the class was small conversations between the two of them. Fate eagerly waited to see what was in store for her the next time they met. She wasn't in love... Not just yet.
