Jonathan's POV
WAIT.....WHAT!? His asking me to be his friend? Is he feeling sorry for me or what? He still has his hand out for like 5 minutes already and I thought he would get tired of holding it up but I guess he's serious.
"So what's it going to be Jonathan"?
"Ummm...." Ugh why can't I just say yes? So I just nod my head up and down.
His eyes went wide when I said yes it was pretty funny and then he grabbed my hand and shook it.
"Great we should get to class then or we can just wait for the next class since we're already late for 2nd period anyways."
"Okay"
We were walking around the hallways waiting for the bell to ring. It was quiet between us which I liked until he spoke.
"Hey Jonathan can I ask something and you don't have to reply I'll understand...I think."
Oh no here it goes he's going to ask why I wear a mask. Oh well might as well say yes or just nod my head.
"Why are you quite? And like I said you don't have to reply"
Wait...are you serious his asking me this question. His very kind though so I might as well tell him.
"I don't like to talk much"
"Why is that?"
"I hardly talked to anyone and also each time I talked someone would punch me and tell me to shut up so basically I only talk when I'm told to talk, so that's why I don't say anything to you c-"
"Cause you're afraid I'm going to hit you?"
"Yeah"
"Jonathan, I'm not those type of people that would punch someone for saying something, everyone has the right to talk and you can't let anyone take your right to speak"
Wow no one's ever told me that before, maybe he is different from all the people I've seen.
"Thank you Evan that really made me happy. Even though you can't see it."
Aww shit I shouldn't have never said that.
"Right because of your mask. Is there a story as to why you wear the mask?"
He really is different like Luke, maybe I can become friends with him. But what about his friends what would they think of me. What if his friends don't like me and they would bully me an-

I must have spaced out since Evan was poking me.
"Sorry I spaced out and quit poking me. You've been poking me the whole afternoon today."
"Oh and sorry but I like poking you it's kind off funny and are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm okay...just a lot of things on my mind right no-
*RING* RING*
"Come one dude time to go to 3rd period."
I wonder what 3rd period awaits me now*sigh* Well at least Evan is with me but then again his popular so he's going to sit with other people...oh well.
"Hey Jonathan wann-"
"Hey Evan sit with us please"
Some girl with dark brown hair and two other girls just took him to their table. Like I said his popular so of course he would go with other people. Oh well might as well sit in the back.
I took the table in the far back and laid my head on the table with my hoodie on when I hear a little kid.
"Hey mind if I sit here?"
I lifted my head up and I see someone my age but where did that little kid go or....is he the one that sounded like a kid?
"So can I sit here?"
There it is again how is he doing that? I just nodded my head and he sat down.
"My name is lui by the way and can I just say one thing...Cool mask dude"
Wow that is pretty cool he can sound like a kid. I never meet someone like him and hold up....did he just say cool mask?
"Hey lui"
"Hey Evan"
"I see you meet the new kid Jonathan"
Wait what!? They know each other? Meaning the kid lui is also popular.
"Wait he's new here Evan" Lui said.
"Yeah he is but I don't know much about him since he hardly talks"
"Well welcome to RiverHawks High school its nice meeting you and I hope we become great friends." He said that last part in his kid voice which I chuckled at.
The bell rang meaning class was started to I decided to sleep.
TIME SKIPPED TO LUNCH
"Dude he's a heavy sleeper"
"Yeah he is but I'll wake him up"
"Jonathan wake up dude it's lunch time"
I heard two voices and then someone was poking me and I of course knew who it was... Evan of course.
"Evan stop poking me, I'm awake now."
I'm going to poke him one day to let him know how it feels like to get poked.
"Come on dude let's go to lunch so you can meet my friends."
Oh no he's going to introduce me to his friends not just any friends but his popular friends. What if they're going to beat me up also but then again they can be like lui and be nice. Oh well might as well take the chances.
I got up and was following Evan and lui to the lunch tables. Everyone was staring at me and I heard some people say "Freak" So I just had my head down.
Evan stopped walking meaning his friends were here.
"Hey Lui and Evan were have both of you been, we were waiting for you guys"
He had an Irish accent which sounded familiar but I don't remember where I heard it.
"We were just waiting for Jonathan to wake up." Lui said.
"He's a new kid here and I was thinking he can be in our group" Evan said moving aside so I can see his friends.
"Well you are the person that brought us together Evan so it's up to you"
I saw who that Irish accent came from and I saw a tall guy and that's when I remembered he was the guy that was with Evan in the bus.
"Alright well everyone meet Jonathan, he doesn't talk much so just give him some time."
"Okay" everyone said.
"Alright so let's start with the introduction. You already know who I am" Evan said.
"Hey names Daithi De Nogla or just nogla for short" the Irishman said, weird name but okay
"Sup fucker names wildcat" the guy with glasses and blue eyes like mine but not as bright as mine.
"Wuddup names Moo Snuckel or moo." said the guy with short brown hair.
"Names Mini Ladd but you can call me mini for short." The guy with glasses and sort of long brown hair said hold up...I saw him in the bus this morning with Evan and nogla.
"BasicallyIdowrk or just basically." The guy with really short hair said.
"And you already know who I am."Lui said in his kid voice which I laughed at.
"Those aren't your real names are they?" I said looking at all of them.
"Nah Dip shit it's our code names, until we trust you then will tell you our real names." Wildcat said.
Well I already know who has a problem cussing.
"Oh okay" I said
"Well basically we each have a code name so other people won't know who we are or who were talking about."
Wait why do they need a code name though it's not like they rob a bank or something like that...or do they?
"Hey vanoss if he's going to be in or group then he should have a code name also." Moo said and he whispered something to Evan which I couldn't hear. Wait vanoss? Is that his code name?
"You're right but what can his code name be though." Evan said.
"Hey guys look at me balance this tray on my head full of food." Lui said in his kid voice.
I saw mini trip lui which made him drop all the food and feel on him. He started fake crying in his kid voice
"I'm going to tell my dad on you" Lui said fake crying.
I started to laugh that everyone just stopped laughing and looked at me, so I stopped laughing know what would come next thinking they would punch me for my weird laugh.
"Never heard someone laugh like that before but that's a pretty cool laugh dude." Mini said.
They are different. Maybe I should give them a chance, after all there not that bad except for wildcat who has a problem cursing.
"That laugh was insane dude." Evan said patting my back.
Hold up Insane laugh? Hmmm I don't know why but it's like I already have a code name...or something like that. I started to space out again trying to think what that name was.
"Oh oh oh I know what his code name can be" Lui said in his kid voice jumping up and down.
"Just say it already Lui." Evan said.
"We can call him delirious." Lui said
Why does that sound familiar?
"That does sound pretty cool since his laugh is insane. Alright Jonathan your code name will now be delirious." Evan said looking at me and smiling.
"Okay" I simply said. But why does it sound so familiar, it's like someone already gave me that name. But who and why?
"Hey Jonathan are you okay?" Evan said looking worried.
"Yeah I'm okay why?"
"Cause you didn't answer the question lui asked"
"I was spacing out sorry about that."
"So can you come over my house Jonathan?" Lui said.
"Sure but I don't know where you live."
"I live at 123 plae grownd stret" lui said in his kid voice
"Or Vanoss can take you to my place since you both have the same classes together."
*RING*RING
Lunch was over and we went to class, the whole day was boring so I just feel asleep in all the classes. I was still thinking why does delirious sound so familiar?
Because you are delirious. Jo-na-than. Said the voice and then started laughing like crazy.
Oh no.
Alright I did say the 3rd chapter would be up yesterday or today and here it is I hope you enjoy it. Also I might make more chapters on Saturday and Sunday yay anyways hope you enjoyed the story I'll see you in the next chapter.
