Annabelle got home from school and as she went to her room she saw Dan just laying there on the floor.
"Dan?"
"He's having an existential crisis." Phil said walking past, "it's best to leave him."
Annabelle went into her room and watched Dans video on existential crisis. Then she had a thought.
"Phil?" Annabelle said looking around the house for Phil. She found him setting up for a video.
"Yeah?"
"What's Dans favourite chocolate, dinner and anime?"
"Maltesers, pizza and he doesn't have one but he likes food war. Why you ask?"
"To cheer him up, I am going to get him some maltesers, order pizza for dinner and then we can all watch food war later."
"That is a nice idea."
"Shall I start by making him a tea?"
"Yeah. Need any help?"
"No you can carry on with your video I can do this."
Annabelle went to the kitchen and made Dan a tea just like she had done many times and took it out to him.
"Here you go Dan."
"Thanks."
She pulled on some shoes and grabbed her key and went to the shop and got three boxes of maltesers.
"A lot of boxes you have there." The shop keeper said.
"They aren't for me but for Dan."
"That's nice."
The shop keeper knew that Annabelle had been adopted by Dan and Phil as she came in here often after or before school.
When she got back, Dan was still on the floor. She gave him box number one and went to her room with the other two. She did her homework and she could hear Phil making a video. Her life had changed for the better. Dan and Phil had made her happy, they gave her a home, a family and happiness. Her phone rang and she picked it up without looking who was calling.
"Hello?"
"Hey brown eyes."
"Josh! What you need?"
"Do you think that every time I call I need something?"
"Yeah."
"You were right. I need to talk to you, can we meet up?"
"Today's not a good day. But after school tomorrow at costa?"
"Yeah. What one? Near us or near school?"
"The school one."
"Ok see you after school."
"Bye."
Annabelle finished her homework and looked at the time, it was seven and she was hungry. She went to find Phil who was in the living room.
"Where's Dan? He is not on the floor."
"His room. I see you gave him the chocolate."
"I got three boxes. One for then, after dinner and later."
"You are a nice person Annabelle."
"Well you guys have done loads for me."
"That's because we love you. So when shall we order that pizza?"
"Now. I'm hungry."
