When I opened my eyes in the morning , something was different. It was light? It was still gray-green light of a cloudy day in the forest, but it was clearer some how. I realized there was no fog covering my tall, wide, glass window. I jumped up to look outside. I squealed in joy.
A fine layer of snow covered the yard, dusted the top of Emmett's Jeep pulling away from the house. I sighed, and plopped down on my bed. My eye's widen. Emmett's jeep pulling away?! They did not leave me here. There going to make me drive my car. I hate driving, I'm afraid someone lunatic might bump into. I groaned, and hopped in the shower, then changed. I didn't even get the chance to blow dry my hair, it looks like a freaking rats nest, but wet. I flashed downstairs and saw that my parents are looking at each other adoringly. I wonder if I would ever be looked at like that. I shook my head. Snap out of it.
Mom realized that they weren't alone. " Honey I thought you were with the others?" she stated.
"Yeah so did I, but apparently I thought wrong, because they left me here." I mumbled "I got to go. See you later." I flashed to my Cobra and floored it.
(Flashed to school)
When I pulled into the parking lot, I saw my brothers laughing at me. Even Edward. I pulled next to them almost running over there feet in the process. I got out of my car slamming the door. I growled at them. "Emmett I'm going to kill you!"
He chuckled "What happened to you hair? You look like a drowned cat." My siblings laughed.
"Guys leave her alone" Alice said, sticking up for me.
"Thank you Alice" I hugged her and stuck out my tongue out at them. We all chuckled at our playfulness.
Alice gasped. "No"
"What-" I was cut off by the sound of screeching tires. They must of locked. I looked up to see Tyler's Van coming towards Bella, and her truck. "Edward" I whispered. I was frozen, I couldn't move. I new how much Bella meant to him, he just wouldn't admit it to himself. I looked over to Edward, but he wasn't there. In a second I saw Edward run in inhuman speed and pulled her down so she wouldn't get hit. He put both hands out in front of him protecting her. The Van stopped but slid to the side of her back end of the truck , the way the van was moving it was going to crush her legs, Edward lifted her legs quickly and the van at the same time and let it fall.
How could he do that? I understand the whole "I love her" thing but still. He could've exposed us. I have been watching her lately, she's very observant. He better not screw it. Aro, and the rest of the Volturi doesn't know that I'm still alive, and I'm keeping it that way. The whole parking lot of people came rushing towards them. Edward quickly popped out and walked away. Bella soon stood up, not a scratch on her. I sighed in relief. I knew what her blood did to Eddy boy. Rosalie gritted her teeth. Yup there will be hell today. I could tell that my family was upset. Heck I'm even upset, but I'm just worried that he'll screw it up, I'm worried for my family. They all got quickly into there cars and pulled out. Great no school. Eh, screw school. I got into my car and headed towards the hospital hoping I could catch dad in time incase Rosalie decides to make a scene. Rosalie is going to major pissed. She hates moving. I hope the damage isn't to bad.

I walked to front desk. Mrs. Russell was there. She was in her Fifty's, but very sweet. I pulled on the best smile I could manage trying to show my worriness.
"Hi Mrs. Russell I was wondering if you have seen my father?"
She looked up to me and smiled "Emily dear, haven't seen you in a couple months. You still look the same. Or maybe its these old eyes." she chuckled. Yeah that's it. "Your father is in his office dear, oh and here. . .here's a cookie."
Yum. I'll take the cookie. I grabbed it and thanked her. I walked to the sixth floor, but as I was walking I went passed the freezer for the blood. I froze. It was having an affect on me, which is silly because I fed last week. I shook my head and ran to my dad's office. I smelt Edward so I knew he was here. Before I knocked Edward opened the door, and gestured for me to come in. I came in and saw my dad leaning against his desk. He smiled at me.
"Hi dad," I smiled I looked at Edward "Rosalie might be on her way. And I had a feeling you were here. She's not happy Edward. But I came to give you support. Not that I trust Bella all the way because, well I hardly now her, but I trust you."
"Of course she's not happy she's Rosalie" Edward snapped. PMSING. I screamed in my head.
"Edward," Dad said disapproving. "I understand why your upset but still, respect." A knock interrupted us. "come in." Mrs. Russell came in, she smiled when she saw me.
"Dr. Cullen you are needed, a patient: Bella Swan."
Dad nodded "Well let's not keep her waiting, shall we." We all headed downstairs on the patient center. Dad headed on. I banged my head against a near by wall. What have I gotten myself into?
"Edward Cullen " Someone growled. Edward and I turned around to see Rosalie fuming. If this wasn't a serious situation. I would've made a comment like 'you look like a bull , and I can imagine smoke coming from your ears' Ya I'm sure that would go smoothly. Lucky us, dad came out, he spotted us and walked over to us.
"What the hell were you thinking? You could've exposed us all. Did you even think about the Volturi? And what about Emily? If they come here they will take her back. And just for a human!" She growled.
"Well what was I supposed to do? Huh?" He snapped back. "Let her die?"
"This isn't just about you!" She pointed to him.
"I think we should take this back into my office" Dad offered. I heard a small gasp. We turned and saw Bella staring at us.
"Can I talk to you for a minute ?" She asked softly.
Good luck Edward, be carful. I thought towards him.
"Rosalie, Emily." dad called. He put his hand on my shoulder and directed the two of us over to the end of the hallway. Were the blood bank was near by. My censes were 50% more better than any other vampire.
"Carlisle he's being an idiot. What about our secret?" Rosalie hissed.
"Ros maybe Edward could be around her. Although it is something to be worried about. He is family. He would not put us in danger." Dad said firmly.
I rolled my eyes. Four of Alice's visions say other wise. I thought sarcastically. Somebody came by us with blood. This place is so annoying, I have no idea how dad could work here. I walked over to a nearby window, not wanting to hear dad and Rosalie bicker. I saw my reflection in the window, I gasped, I saw my veins coming down my face. That's not good. I need to get out of here. I ran to my dad and Rosalie pulling my hoodie over my head. "Hey I got to go. And I'm not going back to school. See you at home." I rushed out only to bump into my brother.
"Hey, you okay?" He asked me.
"No" I looked at him, I felt more veins slowly appear on my face. His eyes widen.
"Get out of here!" He whispered frantically.
"I am, don't tell anyone." I pleaded. He nodded. I quickly ran out of the hospital, and got into my car, leaving my family in awe.
As I drove up our driveway. I kept thinking about earlier. Why did I want that blood? besides the obvious. I usually am fine around blood, Heck Bella's scent doesn't even bother me. Should I tell my family? Nah they have enough problems. I pulled up front and parked my car. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Alice with a worried face. Did she see my at the hospital?
"Are you okay?" She asked me. Yup she saw.
"Uh, yeah. Why?" I said playing dumb.
She raised her eyebrows. "Emily I saw you in the hospital. That's not okay. Your not okay. I think you should tell Carlisle."
I sighed. "I'm fine Alice. Don't worry, if it happens again, or it gets worse I'll tell dad.
She nodded her head. "Come on Carlisle, Edward and Rosalie will be here in twenty minutes."
Yeah. Note sarcasm.
