Hayun leaned against the kitchen counter, watching with amusement as Jiho and Sehun cooked together, their bond filling the room with warmth.
Sehun, with a mischievous glint in his eye, kept teasing Jiho, who responded with an eye roll and an exasperated sigh. Turning to raise his spatula at him with a threatening nature.
Sehun's laughter filled the air, a joyful sound that made Hayun's heart swell with affection. She couldn't help but smile as she observed their dynamic, the way Sehun's antics brought out a softer side of Jiho.
"Sehun, stop that." Jiho chided halfheartedly, though a fond smile tugged at the corners of his lips.
Sehun just grinned, undeterred by Jiho's protest.
"What? I'm just making sure you're paying attention." he quipped, his eyes sparkling with mischief. He then walked behind him, embracing him in a rough hug, Jiho started to complain about the fact he was trying to cook.
Hayun couldn't contain her laughter at them, her heart swelling with affection for the two of them. They may tease and annoy each other at times, but it was clear that their bond ran deep.
As she watched them banter back and forth, Hayun couldn't help but feel grateful for moments like these, moments of lightheartedness and laughter that reminded her of the joy found in simple companionship.
"Hey, stop annoying him and help out." Sehun's Mother scolded her son as she walked into the kitchen, putting her earrings on. "Hi Hayun."
"Hi." Hayun beamed back. "You look pretty."
"Thank you darling, going out on a date actually." Sehun's Mother smiled, glancing back as her husband entered.
"Looks like dinner is sorted for you kids." He chuckled, looking over at Sehun and Jiho bickering in the kitchen.
"Yeah, leaving it all to the chefs." Hayun giggled, Sehun's parents laughing along too.
"Well, we better get going. Try not to burn the house down." He said, turning around to probably start the car up. "Come on Honey, I'm starving."
"Always thinking about food." Sehun's Mum rolled her eyes, directing her words to Hayun who laughed. "Make sure you stay to eat too."
"Alright...have fun tonight." Hayun said, seeing the two out.
"Oh my god, what the hell did you do? I was turned away for two seconds."
"Relax, it's fine. It can be fixed." Sehun replied back to his stressed out boyfriend who glared at him, pushing him out of the kitchen.
"You two go somewhere else and let me cook." Jiho pointed his knife at both.
"Woah, okay." Sehun put his hands up and Hayun laughed, dragging him by his wrist to the living room.
"So aggressive." Sehun commented, smile playing on his lips though.
Hayun sighed with relief as she sat on the sofa, momentarily closing her eyes.
"So, what's up with you and your guy- whatever his name was."
Hayun opened her eyes, looking at the boy next to her.
"It's Jisung...and," she smiled. "It's going good."
Sehun and Jiho were actually the first people she told after the rooftop situation.
"And he still hasn't asked you out- what a pussy." Sehun clicked his tongue disapprovingly.
"Don't be mean...he's never been in a relationship or anything. It's all new to him you know? He's so cute."
"Damn. Okay, sorry. But still...what's he waiting for? Shouldn't he just ask you already?"
"Or you can ask him." Jiho interjected, both hands on the back of the sofa as he joined their conversation.
"No." She groaned, leaning her head back. "I want him to ask me..."
"You might be waiting a while then." Jiho replied, grabbing the cloth from off of Sehun's shoulder to resume cleaning the kitchen.
Hayun glanced at Sehun who just shrugged, turning on the tv.
"He's right, you might be."

Hayun strode confidently towards the practice room door, her heart fluttering with excitement. She knew Jisung was inside, lost in his world of dance, and she couldn't resist the urge to see him.
Pushing the door open, she entered the room quietly, the soft sound of music filling the air. Her eyes immediately sought out Jisung, who stood at the center of the room, his movements fluid and mesmerizing. She leaned against the doorframe, a fond smile playing on her lips as she watched him.
There was something utterly captivating about the way Jisung danced, a raw energy and emotion that seemed to emanate from every pore. Hayun felt her breath catch in her throat as she drank in the sight of him, her heart swelling with pride and affection.
Lost in the moment, she allowed herself to become completely absorbed in his performance. With each turn and powerful movement, Jisung seemed to defy the laws of physics, his passion lighting up the room.
Jisung executed a series of intricate moves with precision and grace. Hayun couldn't tear her eyes away, completely enraptured by his talent.
Suddenly, Jisung's gaze flicked up, and their eyes met. A surprised smile spread across his face as he caught sight of her, and he paused in his movements, shocked.
"Hayun," he breathed out, his voice filled with surprise and happiness. "What are you doing here?"
Hayun returned his smile, walking further into the room.
"I just wanted to see you since you're overworking here." she replied, her voice steady and sure. "You're actually incredible Ji."
Jisung's cheeks flushed at her praise, and he ducked his head shyly.
"Thank you, Hayun," he murmured, his eyes sparkling with appreciation. "Do you have practice?"
"Not today. You've been here quite a long time though, did you eat?" She asked him, worried for his health.
"I ate earlier, don't worry. Did you?"
"Yeah, with Jiho and Sehun." She replied and he was relieved that she had eaten.
As Jisung and Hayun continued their conversation, the air between them crackled with an undeniable energy. Despite not being officially dating, they both were clear on what their feelings were.
Suddenly, an idea sparked in Hayun's mind. "Hey, do you think you could teach me your dance?" she asked, an excited glint in her eyes.
Jisung's face lit up with excitement at the suggestion.
"Oh- sure. he exclaimed, his smile widening.
With a smile, Hayun joined Jisung in the center of the room, eager to learn from the master himself. As he began to break down the steps for her, she marveled at his patience and skill, feeling a surge of admiration for him.
Despite her initial clumsiness, Jisung was a patient teacher, guiding her through each move with gentle encouragement. As they danced together, their laughter filled the room, mingling with the music in a symphony of joy.
Hayun couldn't help but be swept away by the moment, her heart overflowing with happiness.
As they danced, their eyes locked, and Hayun felt a rush of emotion wash over her. In Jisung's gaze, she saw affection shining bright, and she knew in that moment that she was exactly where she was meant to be
"Wait, wait," Hayun laughed, her steps faltering as she reached out to grab onto Jisung's arm, halting their dance. "How do you move like that? Your footwork is insane. Teach me, please."
Jisung blinked, momentarily taken aback by her request, but the warmth of her hand on his arm quickly melted away any uncertainty.
"My footwork?" he echoed, a faint blush coloring his cheeks.
"Yeah." Hayun nodded eagerly, her hand sliding down to grasp his, a simple touch that sent a jolt of electricity coursing through Jisung's veins.
"O-okay, yeah. Wait, let me take the music off first."
Jisung silenced the music, the sudden quiet leaving only the sound of their breathing filling the room. He turned back to face Hayun, his smile returning as he prepared to be her dance instructor.
Jisung proved to be a patient and attentive teacher, guiding Hayun through the steps with care and precision. He didn't rush her or judge her mistakes; instead, he offered gentle words of encouragement, his smile never faltering.
As they danced together, their bodies moving in sync, Jisung felt a sense of contentment wash over him. There was something incredibly heartwarming about sharing this moment with Hayun.
And as they continued to dance, their laughter ringing out in the quiet room, Jisung couldn't help but feel grateful for this simple yet profound connection they shared. Right now, he felt truly alive, his heart brimming with love and joy.
As Jisung patiently guided Hayun through the dance steps, he couldn't help but admire her determination and focus. She was a quick learner, picking up on the movements with surprising ease, and he found himself feeling proud of her progress.
As they moved together, their bodies in perfect harmony, Jisung's heart swelled with affection for Hayun. There was something undeniably special about her, something that made him feel alive in a way he hadn't before.
Lost in the dance and in each other's company, time seemed to slip away, until eventually, Jisung found himself unable to contain the question that had been weighing on his mind.
"Hey, Hayun." he began tentatively, his voice soft but filled with uncertainty.
"Yeah?" Hayun responded, her eyes meeting his with curiosity. A smile still on her lips as she looked at him so intently.
Jisung hesitated, his nerves getting the better of him.
"Can I ask you something?" he finally blurted out, his heart pounding in his chest.
"Of course, Ji." Hayun replied, her expression encouraging.
There was a heavy silence in the room as Jisung fought with himself to get the words out he had been thinking so much about.
"Why do you...do you l-like me when I'm nothing like your ex-boyfriend?" he blurted out, the words tumbling out in a rush.
The moment the words left his mouth, Jisung felt a wave of insecurity wash over him. He couldn't help but wonder if Hayun would see him differently now, if she would regret her feelings for him.
But to his surprise, Hayun's expression softened, her eyes filled with understanding and compassion. She reached out to gently cup his face in her hands, her touch grounding him in the moment.
"Jisung, listen to me," she said softly, her voice filled with sincerity. "You are nothing like him and that's fine. I like you because you're you. You are..." she paused to think of her words, wanting to convey her meaning. "You are an incredible person, with so much talent and kindness. And you make me feel happy and that's why I like you. Why wouldn't I like you? I think anyone would like you, actually you should see those girls staring at you."
Jisung felt his heart swell with emotion at her words. He had never felt so vulnerable in front of someone before, and yet, in that moment, he felt a sense of peace wash over him.
"Thank you, Hayun," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. "I... I'm sorry for doubting. But me and him we really have nothing in common, I just- I don't know."
Hayun shook her head, a gentle smile playing on her lips.
"Don't apologize, Jisung," she said softly. "I wouldn't want you to have much in common with him anyway."
"Why?" He was still leant down as his face was in her hands but she just smiled, fixing his hair out of the way of his eyes before her hands found his instead. They were warm, smaller that his covered hers entirely. He looked down at their hands with his heart pounding.
"Because..." she began. "That isn't what I want. He was a nice guy but there's things that he did that I didn't necessarily agree with and we weren't exactly in love in love with each other. I don't know how to explain." She sighed. "I think we just wanted different things in the end and I'm a little older now, I've seen other relationships and...I just know what I want." She paused, wondering if he did. "Do you know what you want?"
As Hayun's words settled between them like a gentle breeze, Jisung felt a surge of emotions swirling within him. Her honesty and vulnerability touched him deeply, and he couldn't help but admire her sincerity.
With each passing moment, he found himself falling deeper for her, drawn to her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support. And as he looked into her eyes, he knew with a certainty that matched her own that he wanted nothing more than to be by her side, to build a future together filled with love and happiness.
"I...yeah I do," Jisung finally replied, his voice barely above a whisper, yet resolute. "I mean I've never- I've never been in a relationship or anything but I feel things for you that I've never felt before- do you know what I mean?" He said, a blush dusting his cheeks.
"I want...I want to make you happy, to be there for you. Seeing you happy makes me happy too. And I feel sad when you are sad. I-I think about you a lot," he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck and chuckled nervously. "I was talking to my Mum actually, she told me to just tell you how I feel since life's too short."
Hayun's breath caught in her throat at his words, her heart swelling with love and affection for him. She had never felt more certain about anything in her life than she did in that moment. Jisung was the one she wanted to be with, the one who made her feel truly happy.
"You know...I feel the same about you Ji. I really like you, a lot. Actually, I think I've liked you since the start for real. Even though you didn't like me. You and Chenle definitely thought I was some weirdo."
Jisung laughed, shaking his head.
"Ah...no, really I regret being so-"
"Okay, be quiet and give me a nice hug now." Hayun said, opening her arms, expectantly looking at him as she smiled.
Jisung was still flushed but he would probably always be in her presence, he closed the gap between them as he gently wrapped his arms around her in an embrace, leaning down so she didn't have to reach up for him this time.
Hayun didn't let go of him, not that he particularly minded but he wondered if she could hear how insane his heart was at the moment. He had straightened now, his cheeks burning, tilting his head up to the sky as he felt his shyness creeping in.
With her arms still around him, she looked up at him, letting out a small laugh when she saw him.
"Should we having a staring contest now?" She suggested, he glanced down at her. She looked really cute, smiling at him with her dimples showing, bright eyes gazing right at him.
Jisung shook his head, covering her eyes with his hand.
"Stop with the staring contest." He laughed, his eyes drifting to her lips which was the only feature that wasn't covered.
"You know, we need to work on your eye contact skills. You were doing so well." She said, her glossy pink lips moving as she spoke and all Jisung could think about was the feeling of them against his.
Jisung finally put his hand down, revealing her pretty eyes.
"Hey," she began, features lit up. "Do you know they're doing ice cream downstairs? We should go get some before they run out."
"Really?" He asked.
"Yeah." She nodded, moving out of his embrace. "Come on, let's go." She said, hand on his arm to urge him to the door.
"Okay, okay- hold on." He said, walking over to switch the music system off completely and grabbing his things. "Ice cream sounds so good right now."
"Right? I saw it on my way in, I would've gotten it but I don't know what your favourite is."
When Jisung was done, Hayun was bustling with excitement and reached out, grasping his hand in hers. The warmth travelling up her arm and to her chest.
As the golden rays of the setting sun painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, Hayun's excitement bubbled over as she turned to Jisung with a gleeful grin.
"Come on, let's go." she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
Jisung couldn't help but be swept up in her enthusiasm, his own lips quirking into a smile at her infectious energy. He followed her eagerly as they made their way to the elevator, the anticipation of ice cream dancing in their minds.
As they stepped into the elevator, Hayun's grip tightened on Jisung's hand, her excitement palpable.
But as the elevator began its descent, Jisung hesitated, thinking about the fact there would be a lot of people once the elevator doors opened.
As they reached the ground floor and the doors opened, Jisung had let go of her hand as they stepped out of the elevator, the scent of freshly churned ice cream greeted them, drawing them towards the source of the delicious aroma.
Finally reaching the ice cream stand, Hayun's eyes widened in delight at the array of flavors on display. Unable to contain her excitement, she bounced on the balls of her feet, scanning the options before making her selection.
With their cones in hand, they made their way down a quiet hallway, the fading light of the setting sun casting long shadows along the walls. Spotting the window ledge bathed in the soft glow of the evening light, Hayun gestured excitedly towards it.
"Let's sit here again." she suggested, her eyes alight with excitement. Jisung nodded, a fond smile playing on his lips as he followed her lead. Watching her struggle to balance her ice cream cone while wrestling with her hair, he couldn't help but chuckle softly.
Jisung was hesitant as he watched, swallowing his nerves as he stepped forward, his fingers gently brushing her hair back out of her face and moving it behind her back so she could enjoy her ice cream.
Hayun's cheeks flushed pink at the tender gesture, a shy smile tugging at the corners of her lips. As Jisung's fingers had brushed along her skin, a warm sensation spread through her, making her heart flutter in her chest.
With her hair now behind her, Hayun leaned back against the cool glass of the window, a contented sigh escaping her lips. In front of her, Jisung began to enjoy his ice cream as they savored the simple joy of each other's company.
As she sat there, bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun and the gentle hum of the evening breeze, Hayun couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over her.
In that moment, surrounded by the quiet beauty of the fading day and the sweet taste of ice cream on her lips, she knew that she was the happiest here. And as she glanced over at Jisung, his eyes sparkling with affection.
"Why are you always stood up?" She asked, wondering why he wouldn't sit with her.
"Oh," he realised. "I like standing."
"You've been practicing all day," she said, patting the spot next to her. "Sit down." He listened to her, sitting down next to her. Hayun was looking out on the window opposite them, the sun stretching far into them.
Beside her, Jisung mirrored her actions, their shoulders brushing as they savored the simple joy of each other's company.
"This is really good." She said, content with the ice cream she had. Jisung had already been stealing glances at her so he could tell how happy she was.
"Yeah? It is pretty good." He agreed.
They didn't need to fill in the silence between talking, something that Jisung really appreciated. He felt her warmth radiating off of him, turning his head to see she had her head leant against his shoulder as she enjoyed her ice cream and looked out at the settling sky.

hey...can you come out for a bit? im in the garden downstairs
21:39
As night descended, the garden outside transformed into a realm of enchantment. The air was cool and crisp, carrying the faint scent of blooming flowers, and the private garden just outside seemed to come alive with an ethereal beauty.
Hayun stepped out into the garden, her breath catching in her throat as she took in the scene before her. The place was a wonderland, with twinkling fairy lights strung delicately through the trees, casting a warm, golden glow that bathed everything in a soft, magical light.
The pathway was lined with tiny lanterns, their flickering flames dancing in the gentle breeze. The garden was lush and vibrant, with vibrant flowers in full bloom, their colors muted but still striking in the moonlight.
She really loved this place, ever since Jisung had shown her that day. It was magical.
The centerpiece of this enchanting garden was a small pond, its surface like glass, reflecting the star-studded sky above. A gentle stream trickled into the pond, its sound a soothing background melody to the night.
Hayun's eyes were drawn to a figure, his silhouette illuminated by the fairy lights. It was Jisung, and he stood there with his hands nervously behind his back. The lights cast a warm glow on his skin, highlighting his features and making him appear almost otherworldly.
As she approached him, Jisung had a nervous but genuine smile tugging at his lips. The fairy lights caught in his eyes, making them shine with a light all their own. He looked both excited and apprehensive, his posture a mix of anticipation and vulnerability.
He took a step towards her, his hands still hidden behind his back.
"Hayun," he began, his voice trembling slightly. "I... I wanted to tell you something."
Hayun's curiosity was piqued, and she took a step closer, her eyes never leaving his. "What is it?" she asked, her heart fluttering with anticipation.
Jisung hesitated, his nerves getting the better of him.
"I... I've been thinking a lot lately," he stuttered, trying to find the right words. "And I... I really like you, Hayun. I mean, like, a lot."
Hayun's eyes softened, her heart swelling with affection as she listened to him struggle to express his feelings.
"And... and I know I'm not the best with words," he continued, his cheeks flushing a deep shade of red. "But I just... I can't stop thinking about you. Every time I see you, my heart...feels like...it's going to- it's going to burst out of my chest."
Jisung paused, taking a deep breath to steady himself.
"God...I'm probably messing this up," he said with a nervous laugh. "But..."
He was deathly nervous that his whole body felt like it was weak. He brought his hands forward, revealing a small bouquet of flowers, their petals delicate and vibrant even in the dim light. The flowers seemed to glow in the fairy light, their colors taking on a magical quality. His hands were shaking slightly.
"Can I...can I be your boyfriend?" he asked, his eyes searching hers for an answer.
He felt like he could literally pass out. Literally.
Hayun's heart melted at the sight of him, standing there with the flowers and his vulnerability and sincerity. She took the bouquet from him, her fingers brushing against his, and smiled warmly.
"Jisung," she began, her voice filled with happiness. "Of course, you can be my boyfriend. I like you too, so much."
Relief and joy washed over Jisung's face, his smile growing wider and more genuine. "Really?" he asked, his eyes shining with happiness.
Jisung felt a lot in that moment, his hand covering his face, a wild blush deepening on his skin.
As they stood there, bathed in the warm glow of the fairy lights, the garden around them seemed to come alive with magic. The night was perfect.
And with Jisung by her side, Hayun knew that this moment was one she would treasure forever.
Hayun was smiling so big she knew her cheeks would start hurting but she didn't care, she happily stepped forward, her free hand tugging his own down from his face. She leant up on her toes, hand placed on his shoulder.
Their lips met in a gentle, tender kiss, a sweet and innocent act of affection. It was a small kiss, yet it held all the emotions they had been feeling, the unspoken words and the heartfelt confessions. The fairy lights around them seemed to twinkle brighter, casting a magical glow on their moment.
Jisung's initial surprise melted away, replaced by a soft, warm response. He gently wrapped his arms around Hayun, pulling her closer as he returned the kiss, leaning down so she wasn't reaching up.
The kiss didn't last long but it certainly left them both with matching smiles and flushed cheeks.
