I FORGIVE YOU. I FORGIVE ME.
- KELLY CLARKSON,
I FORGIVE YOU.

Rosalind had spent a lot of time with the avengers and had found out that they were not as bad as she initially expected. With the exception of Tony Stark that is, he was just as arrogant and cocky as Rosalind first perceived him to be. Out of all the avengers, Rosalind spent most of her time with Steve. She wasn't quite sure why, maybe it was because she could relate to him. Steve often had nightmares that disturbed his sleep. Flashbacks of war, of losing his best friend.

Rosalind suffered from nightmares too. She had nightmares about the academy, about Pietro dying, about Wanda getting hurt. So that night - and almost every night - Rosalind wandered down to the training area. Sure enough she heard the familiar thumping of Steve's fists hitting the punching bag.

" Woah Cap, take it easy." She said as she walked in. Steve was punching the bag so hard that Rosalind wouldn't have been suprised if it fell from the chain that attached it to the ceiling.

Steve stopped punching the bag and turned his attention to Rosalind.

"Sorry." He said sheepishly, wiping sweat off his forehead. "I got a bit carried away."

"I can see that." Rosalind laughed. Steve sighed and sat down on a near by bench. Rosalind sat down beside him.

" You ready for tomorrow?" She asked.

" To fight a deranged robot who wants to wipe every human off the face of the earth? Yeah I can't wait." He said sarcastically.

" Wow, no need to use that tone of voice with me mister." Rosalind playfully scolded.

They both laughed lightly before lapsing into silence.

"Steve." Rosalind spoke breaking the silence. Steve looked up at her. "I'm sorry for kicking your ass." She said.

"Twice." She added.

Steve laughed and shook his head. "I had you on the ropes."

Once again they fell into a silence. It wasn't an awkward silence though. Steve and Rosalind didn't feel the need to talk every time they were together. They had just decided that it was better to sit together in silence, than in the dark, alone, your memories and nightmares haunting you.

"You should talk to her before we leave you know." Steve stated, looking at Rosalind.

"Who?" Rosalind asked, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"Natasha."

"Steve." Rosalind groaned, like a little child.

"No, no hear me out. Natasha told me about you. About what happened. She told me that she searched day and night for you. She bribed guards for information and broke into the instructors office. You have to understand that she was manipulated. When they told her you were dead, she didn't believe it. Not at first. So the instructors found a girl who looked similar to you. She had recently died in a car crash. They took photos at just the right angle, so you couldn't see the girls face clearly. She truly believed you were dead."

Rosalind stared at Steve in shock. "She - she told you all this?"

Steve nodded. "Why?" Rosalind asked.

"She helped me with something a while back. I told her everything about it. And in return, she told me all about you."

Rosalind was amazed and shocked. Natasha had really believed that she was dead. And with the photos, she had no reason to believe otherwise. Rosalind felt ashamed of herself. She went running her mouth off, when Natasha hadn't done anything wrong. She had kept her promise. She had found her sister. She just thought that she was no longer alive.

"I'll talk to her in the morning." Rosalind decided.

"Well you had better make it quick, because we're leaving first thing." Steve replied.

Rosalind nodded and stood up. "Try and get some sleep tonight, yeah?" She said softly to Steve.

He nodded. "Yeah, it's just..."

"Bucky. I know. And I promise that when this is all over I will help you find him."

Steve looked at Rosalind. "Thanks Rose."

Rosalind smiled softly and left the room, not correcting him.

THE NEXT DAY
----

This was it.

This was the day when they went after Ultron.

Rosalind was nervous, which was to be expected. But her determination overcame her nervousness. She was determined to put a stop to Ultron. At whatever means necessary.

Taking a deep breath, Rosalind opened the door to the weapons room and stepped inside. She had been looking for Natasha for the past half hour, and had finally found her, thanks to a tip off from Clint. Pietro spent a lot of time with Clint. Wanda and Rosalind often joked about their bromance, which resulted in the boys pretending to be annoyed.

"Natalia." Rosalind said softly. Natasha, who was staring out the widow, turned to face Rosalind. Natasha knew it was her sister before she had even turned round. Not only because of her voice, but because she was the only one to ever call her 'Natalia.'

"Were you looking for something?" Natasha asked, her tone almost nervous.

"Yeah." Rosalind said softly. "You."

Natasha's gave Rosalind a confused expression, so she elaborated.

"Steve told be everything Nat. All of it. And I'm so so sorry. The things I said to you. Those horrible, terrible things I said to you in front of everyone. It wasn't acceptable. I should have let you explain the entire situation before I went off on one." Rosalind went to continue, but didn't get the chance.

Natasha bounded across the room, and scooped her little sister into her arms. Rosalind wrapped her arms around Natasha in return, smiling slightly.

"You don't need to apologise, Rosie. You had every right to be annoyed at me. It's okay."

The two sisters pulled away from each other and smiled. "Natalia, what I said about you not being my sister..."

"It's okay."

"No it's not. You are my big sister. You were the one who chased away the bullies. You were the one to tuck me in at night and comfort me when I had a nightmare. You're my sister, and I love you Natalia. And I don't want to lose you again."

Natasha smiled, and pushed the hair out of her sisters eyes. "And you won't. You won't lose me again. I love you too Rosie."

The girls hugged once more, before Natasha spoke. "Come on. Let's go deal with this piece of scrap metal."

Rosalind beamed at her older sister.

A/N

I can't believe that this story is almost over!! I have the ending planned already! What do you think of the relationship between Steve and Rosalind, I was thinking that he kinda ended up being like a brother to her. And Natasha and Rosalind finally made up! Hope you enjoyed.

Jenna.
