Simon's POV
I sat in a chair staring at YN.
She was asleep.
They drugged her up so she can't fight back.
"It's alright Simon. We'll get through this."
"But why is this happening?" I asked helplessly.
Why can't I control my emotions?
I've always been able to hide how I feel.
But now I can't?
This isn't me.
This isn't Ghost.
"Don't go there, Simon."
I looked at Price confused.
"I told you, she's good for you. It's good that you feel. Don't try to change that."
"I know..."
"Maybe you should go to your kids. They're gonna miss you."
I don't know. I don't want to leave my wife but my kids need me.
And I can't bring them here.
I don't want them to see their mom like this.
"I'm not leaving her side. The kids are okay."
"Alright. But remember. It's okay to ask for help."
"Sir, I'm sorry but visiting hours are over." A nurse walked in.
"Ah... okay." I stood up and looked at YN.
She looked so tired.
What's going on? I knew she was having nightmares but when did it get so bad?
I kissed her on the cheek and walked out with Price.
He drove us home and I got out.
I took a deep breath and walked into the house.
"Daddy!" The girls ran over and hugged me.
Cosmos ran past me and grabbed the leg of Price's pants.
"Where's mami?"
"Mommy is... working. She'll be home later." I smiled.
Cosmos had always been sensitive and a mamas boy.
So his eyes started to tear up and Starla hugged my leg.
"I want mami..." She whispered.
Cosmos started crying and dropped to his bottom and Kiara ran over and hugged him.
"It's okay, manito. She'll be home in a few hours."
"BUT I WANR MAMA NOW!"
She gave him a kiss and tried to pick him up.
I scooped up Starla who buried her face in my neck.
"Mama..." she sniffled and I pat her back.
"You guys should be asleep." I said picking Cosmos up by his little arm.
He wailed and stayed limp.
"Cosmos, come on!" I shouted and he stopped crying and looked up at me wide eyed.
Then he started to cry harder and Kiara got mad at me.
"Daddy, no! No screaming at my baby brother!"
I sighed and kneeled down to his level.
"I'm sorry, little one. But it's later and I'm tired."
He hiccuped and hugged me.
"Come on." I picked him up and Kiara followed.
I gave them a quick shower, brushed their teeth and hair and put them to bed.
After I headed down to the living room where the others sat talking.
"How you holding up?" Johnny asked.
I wanted to snap at him but I took a deep breath.
"I'm fine."
"We tried putting them to bed but they insisted on waiting for you and YN. We were playing dolls in the meantime." Gaz said as him and Johnny picked up the toys.
"Thanks guys."
