I managed to pull myself from Jennie but I don't know how.
Jennie had bouts of sleep but I didn't.

She stares at me weirdly. "You still smiling is creeping me out now. You're always grumpy and stressed at work."
I shrug and pull my hand away. I sit down and go back to reading case files.
"Well....I'm happy for you....but I did beat you by 2 days."
I turn to her, still smiling. "What happened?"
She blinks. "Does sleeping with Jennie make you dense?"
I shake my head. "What did you beat me in?"
"I slept with Rosie two days ago!" She yells happily. "I didn't want you to feel bad so I waited until now."
I raise my hand. "High five Lisa!" She grins and hits my hand.
I keep smiling. "Any feelings?"
Lisa stared at me for a few seconds and her smile drops. She looks at her hands. "No."
I reach over and hold her hands. "It's going to be okay Lisa."
She rolls her eyes. "Says the married woman with a sexy wife who's constantly smiling like the Joker."
I just smile wider.

"Rosie, I forgot to tell you something at work," I say on the phone as I sit on the couch, waiting for Jisoo to come home.
//"What?"
I sigh. "I owe you 20 bucks. I fell harder for Jisoo than she probably fell for me."
I hear silence for a few moments then //"Jennie... how about you keep those 20 bucks?"
I grin. "Why Rosie Posie?"
//"I fell for Lisa. Immediately after I slept with her 2 days ago. I just thought: 'I love her'
I grin. "Awwww! That's so cute! Me and Jisoo were playing piano together! I finally got to play the duet!"
//"I see the light?! From Tangled?! AWWWW!"
"Then I told her I love her and what she means to me!" I say excitedly. "She told me the same thing back!"
//"You both are adorable! But I don't think Lisa and I are there yet. Maybe in the future."
I grin. "I know I'm hoping so! You both will get there! It took us until now."
//"Jennie. She's been in love with you since Day 1. You're just extremely blind. I dare you to ask her when she fell in love with you."
"Okay. Bet?"
//"You'll lose so hard sweetie!"
I hear the door open and I smile. "I have to go. Jisoo is here."
//"Haaaave fuuuuun...." She sings suggestively.
I hang up and sit up on the couch and turn around to see Jisoo smile as she walks forward.
She walks up to me and holds my hands, pressing a light kiss to my lips before going back to smiling.
"What?" I ask with a chuckle.
She shakes her head. "I couldn't stop smiling all day. I'm so happy."
I feel my face grow warm and I squeeze her hands. "Jisoo I have a question."
She lets go of my hands and walk around the couch to sit on it when I shout, "Germs!"
She smiles and shakes her head. "No problem! I'll take a shower and come back! Put a pin in that question!"
I laugh. "Who are you and what have you done with Jisoo?"
She winks and runs up the stairs quickly.
She comes back only a few minutes later and sits down in the sofa, pulling me to straddle her lap.
"Question?" She asks happily with a normal easygoing smile and I'm wearing pajama mini shorts so her hands rest on my bare thighs.
"When did you fall in love with me?" I ask.
She sighs and rubs her thumbs over my skin. "Since the first moment you looked at me in the rain all those months ago."
I blink in shock. "But you told me at the hotel room...."
She laughs. "I didn't want to make you uncomfortable. So...." She shrugs. "I just kept it to myself."
"For 4 months Jisoo?" I ask with amazement.
"It was going to be nearly 5 soon but I stopped counting after last night."
I stare at her. "I guess I lost another bet to Rosie."
She looks at me confused but I just shake my head.
I bend my head down and kiss her. I hold her face and run my finger along her jaw before holding the side of her neck tightly. I trail my lips away from her and down her neck, kissing and sucking.
"I stayed up all night yesterday too Jennie. I can't stay up today," she says and groans when I start sucking a spot under her jaw.
"It's Saturday tomorrow," I whisper against her skin. "Sleep in the whole day tomorrow."
I raise my head and kiss her deeply again.
I push her to lay down on the sofa. I press a hand beside her head on the sofa to hold me up and slowly slide my hand into her pants and underwear.

When I wake up, it's completely dark out and the tall windows are wide open. I smile at the scenic view because the penthouse is so high up. It's about 50 floors up. I can see the small lights coming from skyscrapers and the midnight blue sky with Jisoo sleeping on top of me.
I kiss her forehead as my stomach growls. "Jisoo," I whisper.
"Hmmm?" She asks.
"I'm feeling hungry. Do you want anything?"
"Cereal," she replies tiredly.
I giggle and sit up. "You big baby."
I sit up and pull away from her.
I turn on the pendant lights and open the fridge, the white light shining into the darkness, I pull it out and pour two bowls of cereal.
"Cold or hot milk?" I ask.
"Warm," she replies.
I chuckle and put both of ours in the microwave for 1 minute in total.
I smile and wait for it when I feel arms around my waist and a forehead rest against my temple and a woman's nose rest on my cheek. I smile. "What is it?"
"Show me your wedding ring."
I raise my left hand and show her the very showy diamond ring. It's not really my style.
"It doesn't suit you," she says quietly. "We should go again and buy new ones."
I smile. "We'll go on Sunday. Perfect idea!"
The microwave dings and she kisses my cheek, still keeping a hand on my waist as I pull them one by one out of the microwave.
"Why are you still holding onto me?" I ask with a smile.
I need to go grab the cereal but she won't let go.
She turns me around to face her and presses our bodies together. She wraps her arms around my waist. "Because I just got you and I never want to let go of you again."
I hold her face in my hands. "How I ever thought that I wouldn't fall in love with you is beyond me."
We meet for a kiss at the same time. I wrap my arms around her neck and pull her closer to me. She backs me into the kitchen counter and traps me with her arms as she continues to kiss me. Her tongue slips into my mouth and meets mine. I feel heat travel through me and settle at my center and it throbs.
She holds my shorts and pulls away.
"May I?," she asks quietly and I nod because words aren't coming out of my mouth. She grabs my short and underwear, pulling them down together.

The 2 months with Jennie go by perfectly.
And I think we christened every surface in the penthouse, except the balcony. Jennie said she was afraid of heights.
I didn't mention but we got Kuma from her mom's house and he started living with us a few weeks ago.
I didn't keep up with the bombing case. I don't even know what happened with it but I haven't heard of another bombing. I know that Lisa and Soojoo have been running around though.
I've just been working on the dozens upon dozens of domestic abuse and sexual assault cases.
Some of them were fake and I nearly screamed my head off at the women who would rather make a false claim against a good man than let me go deal with a serious issue.
Not everyone is good. People lie. I fucking hate liars too.
I nearly walked out on one meeting when she told me that her husband was abusing her but the man was obviously timid and had bruises where no one would find them. I found some security footage from their child monitor. I got her arrested for a few weeks in jail and some anger management classes. The man thanked me profusely. And while I was a bit skeptical, the way their kid favored the father over the mother was enough for me.
And so day by day went and every night I came home to my lovely wife who would kiss me deep and passionately, declaring her love for me before sending me to take a bath. Then I would come back and we would eat dinner and watch a movie or show. Then cuddle and talk about our day before sleeping in each other's arms in my bed.
I couldn't live a more perfect life.
And just when things couldn't get more perfect, Jennie asks me one day, "What do you think about kids?"
I look at her with a smile. "I think they're lovely."
I do a pull up and I hear her ask, "What about us having a kid?"
I stop in surprise and turn to her but she's looking at the ground. When she doesn't hear an answer, she quickly says, "You know what? Maybe it's too early. You're right. I'll just—I'm going back to my room."
I quickly run over and grab her face, kissing her with a smile.
"I would love to have a kid with you."
She grins happily and kisses me back.
