I'm so worried about Aurelia.
This abuse can't go on for much longer. I really hope she'll still decide to go to the police with me tomorrow.
I go to Finneas' contact and call him. "What's up?" He asks once he answers. "Can I talk to you about something?"
"Sure. Is everything okay?" His tone turns into a worried one. "I- no, not really. I don't know." I sigh. "What's going on?" He questions. "So, you know Aurelia? The girl I'm kind of.. I don't even know." I laugh. "Yeah, what about her?" Finneas asks.
"So, her boyfriend is an abusive asshole. Like, I'm talking he hits her whenever she does something "wrong" in his eyes and verbally abuses her, right?" He hums, queuing me to continue. "He said if she tells anyone he hits her, he'll kill her. He's a pussy and I know he'd never do that, but she's terrified of him and I don't know what to do to help." I shrug.
"She's too scared to break up with him, so I told her we can go to the police about it because at this point, it's domestic violence and an incredibly toxic relationship."
"Didn't that shithead punch you last week?"
"Yeah, he did. I gave him a warning, but he clearly isn't listening because he continues to abuse the shit out of his girlfriend." I sigh. "My poor girl had bruises all on her face and a slight black eye."
"You really like her, don't you?" He chuckles. "Yeah.." I say shyly. "Are you gonna ask her out when she breaks up with her boyfriend?" Finneas quizzes. "If she's comfortable with it. I don't want to rush her into something that she might not want, especially if she's just getting out of a relationship." I tell her.
"I'm rooting for you, Bil. Call me and let me know how everything goes tomorrow, yeah?"
"I will." I nod my head. "I love you."
"I love you too. Be safe." He says before hanging up the call.
I really hope everything goes to accordingly tomorrow because I'm tired of seeing Aurelia like this.
She deserves so much better than this.
I won't stop until Lorenzo's got what he deserves.

"B? You here?" I hear a familiar voice call into my house. I have Aurelia a key to my house incase she ever needs to come over quickly, especially if she needs to get away from Lorenzo.
"I'm up in my room." I shout to her. A few seconds later, Aurelia comes in and sits down on my bed, next to me. "Hi." She smiles. "Hey, baby." I grin, kissing her forehead. "How are you?"
"I'm alright. My face and arm kinda hurt from these bruises." She shrugs, pointing to the both of them. "I'm so sorry, Rae." I sigh. "It's not your fault, it's just Lorenzo." She says.
"I know, but maybe if I did something more or tried harder to protect you, this wouldn't h-"
"Don't you dare say that. None of this is your fault, Billie, okay?" She grabs my face in her hands and looks straight at me. "Tell me none of this is your fault." She orders.
"Rae.. I-"
"Bil, please."
I sigh in defeat and look down, away from her gaze. "None of this is my fault."
"See? Wasn't that hard." She chuckles softly. "I'm gonna be okay, I promise." She tells me.
"How do you know that?"
"I have you." She shrugs with a smile.
I love this girl so much.
I mean.. ugh, who am I kidding? It's obvious anyways.
"We're gonna get this figured out, alright?" Aurelia nods in response. "I won't let him hurt you, even if it's the last thing I do."
"Billie, he's dangerous. You don't know if you can protect me for sure." She sighs. "I know I can." I declare. "Why's that?" She rolls her eyes. "You and your big, strong muscles?" She asks sarcastically.
"Excuse me, Aurelia, but I'll have you know that I do have muscles." I huff. "Lemme see then." She smirks.
She knows what she's doing.
I roll my eyes and flex my arm. "Hot." She hums. "You could've just asked to see instead of being sarcastic to get what you want." I shrug my shoulders. "Yeah, cause you're a gym rat, right?" She rolls her eyes again. "I'm not liking this attitude of yours, Miss Green." I cross my arms.
"Do something about it then." She suggests. "Trust me, the second you're single, I'll definitely follow up on that." I chuckle. "Why not now?" She asks.
"'Cause I'm not really one for fucking girls in a relationship. That wouldn't be too great, would it?" I tilt my head.
Aurelia's face turns red and she looks down shyly. "Plus, you said you're not ready for that yet and I respect that." I add. "What if I changed my mind?" She looks back up at me. "I've still got morals, baby." I laugh. "Ugh, you're no fun." She groans. "Sorry that I'm not trying to fuck a girl who has a whole ass boyfriend." I roll my eyes.
"You'll get what you want eventually, I promise, but right now, I'm focused on protecting you and getting you out of this position you're in with the abuse."
"I told you, he's dangerous. I don't know if you're gonna be able to do that." Aurelia sighs. "Rae, I'd seriously do anything for you, you know that?" I ask.
"I know."
"And you know why?" I question. "Why?" She asks.
"Because honestly, Aurelia, I would die for you." I say truthfully.
"You'd die for me?" She furrows her eyebrows. "I would." I nod. "I seriously don't deserve you." She chuckles. "You deserve me, Aurelia. You deserve the world and that's exactly what I'm going to give you, understood?" I ask her.
She sighs and hugs me, kissing my cheek. "You're the best person I know, Bil." She whispers.
I pull back from her with a smile and kiss her.
I love her so much.
I know it's soon, but she seriously makes me so happy.
I'm not lying when I say I'd die for her.
