After dinner sitara straight went to her room. Rishi too left to his house. Sitara was laying on bed cuddling her cushion and thinking about ruhaan. A blush appeared on her face when ruhaan's thought came into her mind. It was for the first time they became little intimate.
"I think he is changing his mind" sitara thought and smiled widely
But on the other hand,ruhaan was sitting on couch of his room. He went for a meeting from sitara's house but he wasn't focused. Postponing the meeting he made his way to oberoi mansion. Skipping his dinner he locked himself in room. Advik Akshita asked him but he excused saying he ate outside. Mr and Mrs kabir are out of the town.
"You are cheating " his subconscious mind said
"No you're not,she is your wife" another side of his mind said
"But you loves your pari"
"But she isn't with you now"
"So what,she is your true love. Sitara is just your namesake wife"
"But she deserves your love"
"No she don't, you cleared everything before your marriage "
"But every girl deserves love from her husband "

"Stoppppppppp" he yelled holding his hairs tightly. He was furious. He was scattering everything. He sat on his knees holding his face. Anyone could feel bad after seeing his vulnerable situation. It was hard for a man to cry. But ruhaan broke down today. Getting advantage of dark room he cried. He cried whole heartedly.
"I'm sorry pari,I'm really very sorry" he said in between his sobs covering his face with his palms

Sitara was sleeping peacefully. A beautiful smile is visible in her sleep also. But her sleep got disturbed by ring. Ring of her phone. Opening her eyes in irritation she grabbed her phone. A bright smile made its way on her lips after seeing caller ID. It was ruhaan.
"I guess you're missing me Mr oberoi" She said looking at screen and chuckled
"He.." She attend his call and was about to say something but he interrupted
"I'm sorry" ruhaan said from the another side. His voice sounds cold yet hard
"For what" She asked being confused
"For my behavior, I didn't meant anything. It just happned and I'm guilty for that, I will try to maintain my distance from you" he said in his serious tone
Hearing this sitara felt pain in her heart. She knew ruhaan isn't possessive about her but she never knew that ruhaan will apologize for this incident.
"It...it's okay ruhaan" She said not sounding bothered
"Bye" he said and cut without waiting for her reply
Tear slipped from her eyes
"No I will not cry. Not for him aetlest" she said wiping her tears "what does he thinks of himself, king of somewhere or I will be blushing all the day after what he did No I will not" She said and again a tear slipped
"What the hell sitara,why are crying don't you have some self respect,don't cry just don't " She said and wipe her tears again
"I hate you ruhaan I just hate you" She said and cried holding her knees
Next day she woke up with back pain. She was sleeping whole night in sitting position. Opening her eyes she noticed her phone in her hand and it reminds her ruhaan's call. She sighed .she heard a knock on her door,jumping out of bed she opened it and found her father standing
"Happy birthday princess " her father came and hugged her
Sitara realized it was her birthday today. She literally forgot
"Thank you so much dad" She replied hugging back him tightly
"Tell me what gift do you want" her father asked as soon as they broke their hug
"Nothing, I just want your blessings" She said smilingly
"Ahhh you're sounding heroine of Indian television bahu" her father shook his head
"Comeon dad" She whined
"Okay now get ready fast,someone is waiting for you" her father said
"Who" She asked
"That I will tell you later,first go and get ready" he said and left
Sitara knew it won't be Ruhaan but her heart wanted him
"I know mumma you're wishing me, thank you so much I love you" She said looking at photoframe of her mom
Sitara is blind folded, her father was holding her hand And guiding her. Reaching to the main hall her father removed blind fold from her eyes
"Happy birthday " everyone wished her in unison
Sitara's blured version faded and she noticed everyone, Advik,Akshita,Mayraa,Kabir and Nishtha standing infront of her. She noticed rishi too. Her expression changed into happiness
"What a surprise " She said and touched kabir and Nishtha's feet
"Happy birthday beta" they both wished her
"Thank you dad,Thank you maa" She replied smilingly " when did you came" She asked
"Last night" Nishtha replied
"Happy birthday pyari devrani ji" akshita came forward and wished her while hugging
"Thank you so much bhabhi" She replied
"Happy birthday from this little babies too" Akshita again wished her
"Awww thank you so much to my babies, chachi loves you" She said caressing akshita's tummy
"Happy birthday sitara" advik said and hugged her
"Thank you so much bhai" sitara replied softly
"Fine, nobody cares about my presence I'm going" Mayra said dramatically and turned her heels
"Ohooo drama queen,come" sitara said and pulled her in hug
"Hunhh I came all the way from Delhi just for your birthday and you didn't even noticed me" She complained hugging her back
"Arehh I'm sorry na, now aetlest wish me" sitara said when they broke their hug
"Happy birthday my sweetest bhabhi" She wished pulling her cheeks
"Thank you so much meri pyari mayraa" She thanked
"Hawww I was your sweetest bhabhi no now you changed the party" akshita jumped into conversation
"No no now you're the cutest" mayraa said pouting
"See bhaisaab,we have 5 young kids and two are on their way" Nishtha said and everyone laughed
"Happy birthday sitara" rishi came and hugged her
"Thank you so much rishi" She replied back
"Please come" sitara's dad gestured them to take a seat
"I'll see the arrangements" sitara said and made her way towards kitchen
"I'll too join" akshita said and joined her with mayraa
Three of them are in kitchen
"So what did ruhaan gifted " akshita said eating chocolates
"Ummm" She was out of words
"Come on bhabhi,how can you ask this personal question,what if bhai gift bhabhi something she can't show" mayraa said and winked
"Ohoo yes yes sorry" akshita said and winked at sitara
"Akshi,mayraa mumma is calling both of you " advik came and informed them. Akshita and Mayra left
"How are you" advik asked putting his hand on her shoulder
"Good" sitara replied wearing a fake smile
"Sitara you don't have to lie" He said
"No bhai I'm fine" She said
"Did he wished you" advik asked
"No" She said and looked down
"Still you have to be with him" he said
"Bhai,I want to be with you all " She replied looking at him
"Sitara don't be a kid. It's not any game it's your life " he said
"Bhai I'll be happy if you all are in my life, I don't want anything "
"You are ruining your life sitara" he said and she looked down
"Do you know where he is" advik asked
She looked at him in confusion
"He isn't at home" She asked
"No" he replied
"I don't know bhai" sitara said
"Let it be wo kaha kuch batata hai" he rolled his eyes
"Bhaiiiiii" mayraa came and interrupted
"Yes" advik asked
"Eveyone is calling you both" She informed
"Coming " he said and they left
"Seat beta" Nishtha patted empty area of sofa gesturing sitara to seat beside her
"Ji maa" saying this she sat
"Beta we are giving a grand party today,as it's your birthday " Nishtha informed cheerily
"N..no ma its not needed " She said denying
"Haww sitara,it's your first birthday with us we are not listening you" akshita stated
"I know bhabhi but what's the need of grand party, hum choti si party karte hai na" She said trying to convince them
"Nooooo,wait my babies are saying something " saying this akshita bend little " Ohh okay okay" She nodded " see even my babies are saying that they wants a grand party" Akshita said pouting
Everyone chuckled at her antics expect kabir
"Sitara, say yes afterall it's your first birthday after marriage" her dad too instinct
"Okay" She at the end agreed
"And beta where is ruhaan,he wasn't at home so we thought he must be here to wish you" Nishtha asked
"W..wo" sitara looked at advik
"Comeone maa,you're spoiling his surprise, it's his wife's birthday he must be preparing something " advik said covering the situation
"I'm sorry I'm sorry " nistha said
"Let's go then we have to do so many arrangements " Akshita said cheerily
"Oo hello bhabhi,you are going to seat and take rest only" Mayra stated
"Ha ha tum hi reh gayi thi mujhe rokne mai aaj wo bhi kar liya" akshita said scrunching her nose
"Let's go now" kabir said while standing
"Okay bhaisaab we'll meet in the party" madhav said
"Sure" kabir said and they hugged
Everyone started leaving after biding sitara
"Bhai please see where is he,what will I tell to everyone " sitara said to advik in audible voice
"Don't worry I'll handle " advik said with assuring smile
Evening
Whole oberoi mansion was decorated with flowers and lights. And why not afterall it's thier youngest daughter in law sitara oberio's birthday. Hustle bustle is going on .Oberois wants to celebrate sitara's birthday grandly although sitara was denying.
Sitara was sitting infront of mirror wearing black saree. Simple yet elegant necklace with pair of earings making her more beautiful. Makeup artists are doing her makeup. If it was in her hand she could have said no. But it was her mother in law who forced her to do makeup.
She was sitting with closed eyes because her eye makeup is being done. A door opened and mayraa came
"Wow sitara bhabhi , you are looking like princess " Mayra said happily
"Please Mayra itni bhi mat feko"
(Please Mayra don't lie this much) sitara said when she opened her eyes
"Ohoo bhabhi mere baalon ki kasam bas"
(Oho bhabhi I swear on my hairs) mayra said pinching her throat
Sitara smiled at her antics. Makeup artists left after making sitara ready.
"Bhabhi,where is bhai he isn't downstair so I thought he must be getting ready" Mayra asked when she didn't found her brother
"U..m...um...yes actually he had some important meeting and his secretary called him last moment so he left" sitara replied with hesitation
"What, bhai apki birthday party attend nahi karenge, no bhabhi aapko rokna chahiye tha"
(What, he won't attend your birthday party,you should have stopped him" Mayra said sadly
"It's okay Mayra he wasn't going but I forced him" sitara lied, the actual truth is she herself Don't know where is her husband, he didn't informed her neither wished her.
"Bhgvan ji kare unki meeting hi cancle ho jaye"
(I wish his meeting got canceled) Mayra said scrunching her nose
"Haha now let's go"
They both went downstairs. Everyone wished her even asked her about her husband but she made excuses. She was smiling and laughing from outside but from inside, well a strom running inside her heart. She wants to cry badly but she can't.
Akshita called her for cake cutting.
"Beta where is ruhaan" Nishtha asked
"Actually maa he was all ready but emergency aa gayi" sitara lied
"But how will we do cake cutting without him" Mayra asked
"It's okay maa,we cut the cake yesterday so let it be. Guests are waiting" She again lied
"Okay" Nishtha sighed
After cake cutting she made everyone eat. Advik's face showing concern but sitara gave him assuring smile.
Sitara was on her way to main door as some guest are leaving. A girl wearing short dress came.
"Hey sitara,happy birthday " She wished
"Thanks anaya" sitara replied
Anaya is oberoi's family friend's daughter. She had a huge crush on ruhaan and wanted ti marry him but oberois denied.
"Tch tch tch ruhaan fir nahi aaya na,I knew it he still loves pari" Anaya said faking concern
Sitara is standing at the main door.her eyes are getting teary now. She isn't able to handle the words of girl who is standing infront of her. She wants to retort back but she knows whatever she is saying is true.
"You know what,you're such a gold digger. And that's why ruhaan doesn't consider you as his wife and he isn't here to attend his wife's birthday party" anaya again said
Sitara's eyes now full of tears. And within a time tears started rolling down to her cheeks. She clutched her sari tightly. She isn't able to hear another words from her.
"Whose birthday party it is" A cold,mature and sexy at the same time voice came from behind
Both the ladies turned themselves and found ruhaan standing there holding his blazer in one hand. Messy hairs and vines on his hands are making him more hot. His aura is something under anyone can melt.
Anaya smirked and sitara found a pain in her heart thinking that he don't know that it's her birthday.
He took some steps towards sitara. Covered her waist with his hand and stood infront of that girl. Sitara felt some vibration in her body with his touch. She looked at him confusingly but his gaze didn't moved from anaya
"Whose birthday it is baby" he asked looking down at sitara
She was now confused but felt butterfly in her stomach after hearing baby word from him
"Say " he again said
"M...mine" sitara said looking down
"Correction , it's Mrs sitara ruhaan oberoi's birthday today" he corrected her
Sitara now wants to dance and fly. Afterall it's first time he addressed her as his wife
"Right " ruhaan again asked
"Hmm" She couldn't say anything
"And yes" he tilted his head towards anaya "she is really a gold digger" ruhaan said and made sad face
Both the ladies looked at him confusingly
"Dil churaya hai inhone hamara"
(She stole my heart) ruhaan said looking at sitara
Shock. The only feeling can describe her. Sitara and anaya's eyes got widen
"Umm ruhaan actually "anaya was saying something but ruhaan ignored her
"Aap hamare kapde nikal dijiye"
(Please take out my clothes) ruhaan said sitara and she nodded
They both turned their heels but ruhaan stopped
"And it's Mr oberio for you,only my loved ones can call me by my name" ruhaan said last line looking at sitara
And they left
Reaching their room ruhaan started removing his watch and blazer
"Don't consider my words true,it was all fake just to shut her mouth " ruhaan said without looking at her
"I know " sitara replied with fake smile
"And you can go now if you want,I will take out my clothes" saying this he left to his bathroom
Tear slipped from her eyes. He didn't even wished her. Adjusting herself she left.
