Dream felt his consciousness form slowly, hearing a beeping noise before he opened his eyes, tilting his head up to look at
a raven haired boy with a device in his hands. "Okay.. responsive.." The man muttered, pressing what seemed to be buttons on
the device. Dream waited patiently, for the man, the blond was sitting on a a cushioned seat, behind him being a large ball pit
with slides connected to it. "Okay, stage management protocol on" The boy flipped a switch and watched as Dream blinked
twice, his mouth turning up into a smile.
"Stage management activated" The blond recited, "Five minutes until opening time"
The man nodded, looking down at the device and pressing on a button, "Could you tell me my name?" He asked. Dreams
eyes started to glow slightly, the animatronics gaze falling all around Sapnaps face.
"Facial recognition beginning.." Dream stated, "Nick Hallaway, engineer and director of animatronic design for Freddy
fazbears mega pizzaplex" Nick smiled brightly.
"Okay Dream" the raven set aside the device, "We're opening soon, I've been working on an assistant for you to have here
at the daycare for some time. He's all ready to be put into action so if you see him around feel free to say hello, but he's a bit
shy, he'll help during nap time and as a security for the night as well" Nick explained, "You may stand" Dream placed a hand
behind himself and stood up from the spot, being a bit taller than his creator. "Activate daycare attendant mode" Dreams
eyes flooded with a spring green colour, and his smiled brighter.
"I can't wait to play with all my friends today, do you wish I open the daycare now?" He asked, tilting his head. Dream was
a very advanced and very intelligent animatronic, his creator, who you've already met, Nick, wanted to make sure Dream was
the most lovable and playful robot to please the kids. His stage name was sundrop and he wore a very bright suit to express
his lively personality. He had orange suspenders and baggy orange pants with yellow sleeves and fingerless gloves. What made
Dream mostly look like a sun, were the big fin like spikes coming out of his temples, some kids commonly mistaking him for
a pufferfish which just made him giggle in response. He had freckles along his cheeks and bright green eyes, Nicks design and
engineering being very advanced, Dream being identified as more of a cyborg than an animatronic for his human personality.
"Of course, and if you see your new friend, his name is moondrop, I'll be backstage alright? If you need anything, alert
security to come and get me, understand?" He asked, getting an impatient nod from Dream, opening time was his favorite
time of the day. "Alright, go ahead" Nick stepped aside, and Dream rushed around his daycare to get to the front gates. He
loved his daycare, he was allowed to leave, he just didn't want to since the place had everything he'd ever want. An
abundance of friends, colours galore, and toys all around. Once he had reached the gate, he pulled open the doors
and children from the ages of toddlers to eight or nine ran in with big smiles, some running up to hug Dream or
dive into the ball pits.
Dream smiled as two children took hold of the robots hands, "Sun can we ride on your back!?" A girl asked, jumping up and
down as she held Dream's arm.
"yes! Yes! I wanna too!" A boy at Dreams side stated excitedly, also clinging to him.
"Of course you can!" Dream exclaimed, he crouched down onto the ground and the two children climbed on, Dream
telling them to hold on tightly as he ran around, making airplane noises, causing the two kids to giggle and cheer. Nick
had made Dream strong for these exact reasons, to carry the children and climb up the structures in case they were hurt
or stuck, but it also made useful for playtime which Dream loved. Dream leaped off of the surface and jumped into the
big ball pit with the two children on his back, resurfacing with them to see them giggling and begging Dream to do it
again. It was Dream's favorite thing to do, make the children laugh, he would pretend to be scared when they
attempted to jump scare him and he pretended to laugh as they tickled him, just so that he could see a smile
on their faces.
He enjoyed cleaning up after the children too, the small humans being quite messy when unattended so he'd often see
dirt and trash in the play structures. Although he didn't mind cleaning, he commonly got annoyed when his play structures
got dirty as he wanted to keep them nice for the kids. His day was spent keeping the children from injury and chasing them
around the play structures, giving them food, and playing with toys with them, although a thought remained in the back
of his metallic head, where was his new friend? Moondrop, Nick had stated, he wanted to meet him badly, maybe he was
hiding in the play structures! Maybe it was hide-n-seek! Dream loved hide-n-seek!
"I'm so sorry friends, but I must go and do something before we can play again, alright?" The blind animatronic apologized,
feeling apologetic from hearing the children's sad voices. "I promise I won't be long! Be safe!" Dream waved towards them as
he walked off. The sun crawled into the play structures and ran around the tunnels, hearing children laughing and talking all
around him. "Moon! Where are you?" Dream exclaimed with a wide smile, "I wanna be friends!" He ran over the bridge to the
other play structure. Nick had explained that Moon was shy so he'd probably be hiding out somewhere where the children
wouldn't find him, Dream started making his way to the back of the play structures where he was farthest away from the
children, smiling brightly as he saw someone sitting on the ground, their knees to their chest.
The boy he saw had fluffy brown hair with dark attire on, his socks being striped with black and blue, small stars clipped
into his hair, and big brown eyes. The brunet also had black gloves and big round glasses on his nose with a black tint. Dream
smiled and crept up behind the animatronic, leaping forward and grabbing onto its arms, "Found you!" Dream exclaimed,
seeing that he startled the other, "Hello Moon! I didn't know we were playing hide-n-seek!" The blond leaned over so that
he could look at the other, making his vision upside down to see the brunet's face.
"o-oh.. um.." the blue one seemed startled, "we weren't-.."
"My names Sun, but Nick calls me Dream! Why are you hiding out here?" He asked, going around the other and sitting
in front of him, Dream usually didn't like to sit down, he much preferred standing so that he could hop and prance around
without restrictions.
The one named Moon went silent, looking away, "My program wasn't designed for making friends Sun-"
"Well mine is!" Dream exclaimed, making the other look at the smiley robot, "How about we get you a balloon? They
always make me smile, and they're really colorful! Or we could go and get some cake! Cake always works for making
friends!" He said, getting excited just thinking about it, "Maybe we could go play with the other children?" He tilted
his head, "Would that make you feel less lonely?" He asked, Moon looking at him nervously.
"I'm.. only supposed to come out at night.." He stated, "and besides.. I'd just scare the children.." He looked down, Dream
blinking twice.
"You wouldn't scare them, you don't seem scary at all!" Dream stated, bouncing a little in his sitting position, making his
hair flop a bit up and down, "Because you're in the daycare, that means that you passed Nicks safety protocols, which means
you're allowed to be around the children without supervision, which means that you can play with me! Come on! If you like
hiding we could play hide-n-seek, I love being the seeker! Or we could sing! The children love singing-"
"I-I'm no good at singing.. and my program doesn't support playing" The brunet looked to the side, "You're supposed to
be out watching the children right? I wouldn't want to waste your time anyway" Moon insisted.
"But.. I want to be your friend" Dreams smile faded, "I won't have fun knowing you're here all alone without anyone to
play with. How about we try? There's no harm in trying to say hello to the children right?" Dream asked, gaining his smile
again.
Moon looked down, "I.. guess.." He said, lowly. Dream took that as a sign to grab onto Moons arm and pull him up yo
stand, bringing him through the play structures closer to the sound of children, "Wait, sun" Dream turned around, looking
at the other. "I.. um.. I'm nervous.." he stated, with a shaky voice.
"That's alright! Stage fright is okay, I'll be right by your side!" Dream insisted, pulling Moon out the play structures more.
Dream stopped at an opening, looking out to see the children playing with toys and jumping into the ball pit. He then thought
for a moment, and looked back at Moon, "I'm going to go out first okay? You can come out whenever you feel confident!" He
insisted, letting go of Moons arm and walking out to the open.
"Sun! We missed you!" A little girl ran up and Dream crouched down and picked her up, spinning around with her in
the air as she giggled, he set her back down and she called her friends over to say hello to Sun.
"Sun it's my best friends birthday today and he wanted to meet you" A girl came over, a boy with a birthday hat on
smiling nervously up at Dream, "He's a little shy though.." The girl stated.
"Thats alright" Dream crouched down and smiled at the boy, "What is your name?" He asked, even though his facial
recognition already scanned the boys face and located the guest passes the boys parents ordered.
"M-Michael" The shy, raven haired boy stated, Dream reaching over and picking the boy up around the waist, holding
him as the group of children followed him to the other side of the daycare. Dream loved it when someone came to his daycare
with a birthday, it meant he could sing, which was his favorite thing to do with the children. Dream just realized he hand a lot
of favorite things to do at the daycare, he couldn't possibly choose between them. Luckily though, there was almost very
commonly a birthday at Freddy Fazbears pizzaplex. Dream sat down on the big chair he had and watched as the children
gathered around him, sitting on the pillows on the floor as they looked up at the yellow animatronic.
"Would you like us to sing you happy birthday Michael? It is a very special day after all! It only comes once a year!"
Dream exclaimed, and Michael nodded his head quickly, Dream starting the song and pleased to see that all of the children
started singing with him. Out the corner of his eye, he could see Moon glancing at him from the play structures, looking
like a mix of nervousness and wonder, scanning the scene. Once the song was done, Dream did what he always did after
singing happy birthday, he chucked the birthday boy into the ball pit, all of the children joining in. If Dream had a heart,
it would be swoon with seeing all the children's happy faces. However, his moment was cut short when he felt a tap on
his shoulder, looking behind himself, he saw Moon, out in the open. "Decided to come out?" He asked, the blue one
nodded, looking down.
"Nick calls me George by the way.. just.. wanted to let you know" He stated, Dreams eyes brightening.
"It's lovely to meet you George! Would you like to play? Maybe meet some of the children?" He asked, tilting his head,
"Oh we can do so many fun things together now! I'm so excited!" Dream exclaimed, feeling like he could burst from the
thoughts alone. He noticed that George giggled softly, making his eyes go wide.
"I like you Sun, you're nice" George smiled, looking up at the other. Dream felt that if he wasn't speechless, he would be
squealing with happiness and suffocating George with hugs, but he stiffened up, not moving so that he wouldn't overwhelm
the other. George noticed this and smiled, "You're trying really hard not to hug me right now aren't you?" He asked, only
getting a tense nod in reply. Moon sighed, "I guess if you wanted to, you could-"
Dream tackled George and squeezed him around the torso, trapping his arms in the hold as he pull him close, hopping
up and down on his feet, "We're gonna be the best of friends Moon! I just know it!" Dream went on to rant about all the
fun things they could do together, but George just hugged the other back, leaning himself close, listening to the other
animatronics words as it rambled excitedly. The blue one let himself give a fond smile, it wasn't in his code to feel so
emotional, so attached, but he found himself unable to pull away from Sun, not just because of the tight hold he had
on him.
AHHH SUN AND MOON ARE LITERALLY DREAM AND GEORGE LIKE- I LOVE THIS AU. This was inspired by a fanart
of Dream and George as sun and moon but I fucking lost it and it was the cutest thing ever AND I CANT FIND IT-
