"DUDE HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU READY SO EARLY?" meihui yelled when she entered the kitchen the next morning.
there in all her glory, stood park seorin, all dressed and dolled up for her day. at 6 AM. making pancakes.
"i woke up at like 4:30 to shower and get ready. now I'm making breakfast for jisung- and no, you can't have any. not even one." she responded
"damn i wasn't even gonna ask you anyways what the fuck" meihui sulked and sat down on top of the kitchen counter, watching her best friend flip the pancakes
"I'm just kidding, have some. but not more than 5, i didn't make a lot of batter and i need to save some for jisung too" seorin handed the chinese girl a plate who didn't waste a second in digging in
"how was jisung's sandwich from yesterday?" she asked as she got down from the counter to get some syrup from the fridge
"as bad as it gets but it was so good at the same time"
"you're so blinded by love, rinnie"
"okay but have you seen him?"
"hm, yeah i guess you have a point. he is cute. all of the guys are. but we're hotter." meihui shrugged
"so true, though- oh also, do you wanna go shopping with me later today?" seorin asked as she turned off the stove and took off the last pancake from the pan
"sure, i need some new shoes anyway. I'm free at 2 today, you?"
"at like 10? I'll pick you up after your class"
"sounds good"
seorin then checked the time on her phone and began to pack jisung's breakfast. leaving meihui alone in the kitchen, she walked to her room to write a note to the boy like he had done for her.
"i have a feeling this is gonna become a regular thing for you and jisung" meihui said, entering the room and walking to the closet
"what is?" the younger asked, confused
"the breakfast thing. you're already acting like a newly-wed couple. like some of us here are single?" she called back and walked to seorin after a few minutes
"do you think i should wear this today?"
"isnt that my shirt?"
"yeah and?"
seorin raised her eyebrow at meihui at which she groaned
"fineee, you have better clothes"
"okay- wear it. but don't get it dirty, i swear-"
meihui stood up excitedly and squeezed seorin in a hug
"i won't, chill. thank you rin"
at around 6:45, the two friends were on their way to the boys' dorm to drop off the breakfast. before they even knocked, they heard yells and screams
"how are they so loud even in the morning?" seorin sighed
"i don't know but i respect it"
meihui extended her hand to knock at the door and heard jaemin's voice calling out to haechan to open the door.
indeed, a sleepy donghyuck stood infront of the two girls after he opened the door
"oh-" he paused to yawn, "it's just you two. come in" he opened the door wider for them to enter
"why's it so messy here- when was the last time you cleaned dude?" meihui grimaced at the typical college boy dormitory. the boy just shrugged at her question and jaemin emerged from the kitchen
"aww, hey guys- oh no its such a mess in here, we're so sorry for that-"
"I'm not" haechan called out from the couch
"except him," jaemin continued, "wanna have breakfast with us? jeno and mark hyung are also awake"
"oh no, i just came here to drop this off for jisung" seorin handed him the box and he gasped
"ohhhh sexy" he wiggled his eyebrows
"please don't do that, it's so creepy"
"oh good morning guys," jeno came out of the kitchen too and greeted the two
"jaem, mark hyung keeps setting the eggs on fire"
at the information, jaemin sighed and bid the girls goodbye before walking into the kitchen to take care of the disaster
"how're-" haechan started but stopped to yawn, "how're you so fresh in the morning?" he turned to seorin and meihui
"who says we're fresh?"
"fair enough."
"anyways, we'll be off now- bye donghyuck"
"bye- have fun"

awoke the sleeping beauty at 9, looking to the bed besides his only to find chenle gone- but his alarm still going off. jisung groaned as he got out from his bed and walked to chenle's to search for his phone and turning off the alarm
after that, he stretched and dragged his feet outside and to the kitchen where he saw his roommate and older dorm-mate, renjun
"good morning, jisung," renjun squeezed his cheeks and pointed to the refrigerator, "jaemin said seorin dropped by breakfast for you today. and he strictly forbade us from eating anything"
at the information, jisung smiled and opened the fridge to indeed find a breakfast all made for him
"dude atleast wash your face before you start eating," chenle cringed at his younger friend who dug straight in his breakfast, "also be careful, you almost ate paper"
"what's that?" renjun reached out for the note inside the box and smirked, "oh? jisungie has a let-"
"hyung!" he whined, standing up to take it back
"alright, i won't read it, but chenle's right. atleast go wash your face"
jisung sighed but stood up anyway, the note still in his hand, which he decided to read back in his room for more privacy
the two Chinese boys watched their giddy friend walk back to his room as he read the note and conversed amongst themselves
"they're so down bad for each other"
"it's honestly kind of weird to see jisung getting a girlfriend before all of us"
"chenle, are you forgetting some of us have dated before too?"
"-in college, i meant"
and as for the tallest of the bunch, he was squealing and kicking his legs in bed as he kept re-reading the note

park jisung swore he'd never been more excited to get ready for his day at university- even if it had started only a few weeks ago.
but his excitement died down when he found out his first and favorite class was cancelled for the day and had been moved to the next day. so he decided to ask seorin if she could see him or else he'd go back and sleep a little more.
