I was about to reply when the door opened, revealing Charles.
"Hey, are you okay?"
I nodded, he went beside me and sat down.
"I have a very important thing to tell you," His breathing changed and it became more deep. "This fake relationship thing we have..." He paused for a while before continuing, "should only stay between me, you, and Alex. Even the management doesn't know about this. Even Carlos, my trusted teammate."
So that means, hindi ko din pwedeng ipagsabi sa friends ko? Nalungkot ako bigla, first time 'to na magsisinungaling ako sa kanila. We value honesty and trust between us. It saddens me na hindi nila alam ang sitwasyon ko.
Nag nod lang ako, hindi na din ako nag abala pa na sumagot at mag-usisa.
"How are you?" He asked me, grabe parang jowa ang trato sakin!
"I enjoyed the race, it's quite disappointing that I couldn't enjoy it fully because I don't have enough knowledge." Totoo naman kasi, madaming terms ang hindi ko pa alam. Minsan nga ay,sumasabay na lang ako sa reactions ng ibang tao. Kapag humihiyaw sila, ganoon din ako.
"You have an F1 driver as your boyfriend, he can also be your F1 professor." I laughed at him.
"Edi student teacher relationship 'yun? Ayoko ng ganyan!" Paloko na sagot ko, alam ko naman na hindi niya 'yon naiintindihan. As expected, kumunot lang ang noo niya.
"What language is that?"
"My native language, Filipino. I'm from the Philippines." Ngayon ko lang napagtanto na hindi niya pala alam na Pinay ako. I already knew he's from Monaco when I researched about him.
"I'm a fresh graduate, currently 22. There's a 3-year gap between us, will that be okay?"
He only shrugged, "I dated someone the same age as you back then. I don't mind."
Tumango lang ako at napa-isip. 'Yun ba yung Alexa? Parang nabasa ko din one time na nagtagal sila ng 1 year.
"Tell me more about you, I'm curious. This is my first time dating an Asian."
"Correction, we're not dating." We both laughed together.
"Are you coming tomorrow?"
"Of course, I need to be there as your WAG."
"Wow, did Alex taught you that?" Ang gwapo niya tumawa, grabe! Mabuti na lang at nakaupo kami, my knees are melting!
"I'll pick you up, you can stay at the garage during the race. Just stay with Alex, he'll guide you."
Kung ano ano lang ang mga pinag-uusapan namin, kagaya ng mga ginagawa ko sa Pinas. Kung ano ang famous na sport doon at bakit daw hindi ko alam ang F1. I also shared to him about my friends and he promised to ask Carlos and Pierre's autographs para ibigay ko daw kina Tori at Lily.
While we are enjoying the momentum of our conversation, I remembered something very important.
"Charles, I'm leaving on Monday." As his 'girlfriend', hindi ba dapat na nandiyan ako palagi sa events at races niya? Paano to? Eh sa Pilipinas pa din ako naka based. May mga scheduled interviews na din ako and pasado ko na lahat ng kailangan na requirements.
He looked disturbed, also trying to digest our new challenge.
"It's okay, you can visit me whenever you're available. Don't worry about the costs of each travel, I'll cover them. Just bring your self and cheer for me."
Eto na ba yung sugar daddy na inaasam ko? Grabe yan, hindi pa ako ready sa wealthy lifestyle!!!
"Red, thank you." He seriously said which I felt his sincere gratitude. He gave me a quick hug before exiting the room. I was left all alone in that room, smiling widely.
