Coffee shop shift with Alex just finished we've been talking all morning it's nice to catch up with her I've been kind of neglecting her because of Liz but how couldn't you so I offered to take her to little Italy before Scarletts party at 7 the time currently being 1.
Me and Al grabbed a cab taking us to the restaurant starting a light conversation before we walked into the restaurant for lunch sitting down at a table.
"So any things happen in your life at the moment" I asked Al sipping on my coke her face going red.
"Oooo what's happening"I asked getting excited for her.
"Well I meet this boy at the moment he's names Tyler and he's so handsome and caring he's the most promising I've had in ages"she says knowing her track record is absolutely a pile of shit choosing boys.She's like a bull she sees red and runs for it.
"Oh that's great I need to meet him show me a pick of him" i ask before she gets her phone out and pulling up he's instagram.He's got Brown fluffy hair with green eyes and a muscular figure and decently tall so for her it's perfect but ya know it's not Liz so I couldn't say that.
"Mhm decent looks nice as well going have meet him though can't having you get treated bad"i reply smiling at her making her nod with a smile.Al is like a little sister to me I always protect from whoever whatever.
After eating for a bit she asks about tonight and who's gonna be there making me relies some of the avengers are gonna be there and the realisation evident on my face making her laugh but then realising the time and paying the waiter and walking out of the restaurant as the time was 4 and I need time to prepare myself with Al's help.
"Al help me don't just stand there what should I wear"i shout at her while she watched in amusement finally getting up.
"Okay these black suit pants with a white shirt and this black lacey bralet."she suggests holding them in her hands towards me offering them for me to take so I walk into the bathroom changing putting them together and doing some of the buttons up showing a bit of cleavage and walking out.
"Okay good now hair sit" she says pointing to the vanity where the products are.Plus side of Al she's also a hair artist so she's good at this stuff so I just trust her.She ends up going with half up half down and curling the side that's been put up.
"And perfect" she finally says squeezing my shoulders as I look in the mirror thanking her.
It's around six when the door knocks so I get up of the couch opening the door for liz.
"Hi wow you look amazing" she compliments looking me up and down with a beautiful smile on her face as always.
"Hey so do you come in" i say stepping to the side holding my hand out for her to take walking into the front room where Alex still sits.
"Liz this is Alex my best friend,Alex as you know Liz my girlfriend"I greet them to each other as Al gets up to bring liz into a welcoming hug.
"Nice to finally meet you"liz say sitting down next to me her hand on my thigh smiling at Al.
"Mhm so she talks about me how nice nice to finally meet you too" she replies with a smile.
"Touché talks about me as well"liz smirks making me roll my eyes.
"Indeed she does she flaunts about you" she teased back making me chuck a pillow at her but sadly she catches it.
"Aww how cute baby.I've heard you got baby photos and embarrassing story's let's hear them" Liz asks so I stand up pulling my cat with me getting annoyed at them so i start preparing my cat for tonight with food and water for when I go so he doesn't starve still hearing them talk in the background but glad there getting along.
"Darlinggg we need to go" i said finally coming back into the room hearing them laughing.
"I love Lizzie don't get rid of her" Al says still in a laughing fit.
"Wasn't planning to" i said as Lizzie wipes her tears of laughter.
"Al your welcome to stay her liz ready to go we've got 15 mins"i said giving a hand to help her up which she takes and flattens her trousers and shirt out.
"Your such a cute kid in your little karate suit I didn't know you did that."she says.
"Yeah got to black belt but Still got the moves be careful Liz" i said karate chopping the air.
"oh no I'm so scared" she jokes.
"Alright bye Al see you on are next shift goodnight"i say getting annoyed we're being late.
"Bye goodnight it's nice to meet you liz "she said shouting as we walk out the door before liz reply's with a you too.
"Alex is amazing" she says getting into her car starting it up.
"Yep but also a pain in the ass" i say
Driving through the quite night roads making our way to Scarlett's a little late but ya know that's me never on time but we still get there. getting are gift bags and walking hand in hand to the door.
"Welcome finally come in"scar says stepping aside to let us in and take our shoes off not really knowing what to do with the gift so I just hold it for now.
"I've got you a gift but I don't really know you well so hope it's good" i said handing her an envelope with a spa day in it and some wine.
"Thank you I'll enjoy this" she says putting it down and pulling me into a hug in thanks before Liz hands her present over which was a little Pandora bracelet and she pulled Liz into a hug as well in thanks before leading into her house where around 5 people who seem to be Cobie smulders ,rdj,Chris evans, Colin joist and Florence Pugh making get really nervous really quickly but Lizzie notices.
"Hey you'll be okay let's go to Flo you'll really like her she's really nice and just like you okay"she say smoothly making me nod.
"Hey Flo how are you"she say walking up to her at the counter me behind her.
"Liz nice to see you again I'm good you"she questions back.
"I'm good thanks also I like to introduce you to
y/n my girlfriend" Liz says pulling me from behind her.
"Hi nice to meet you" i say offering my hand for her to shake which she does.
"Hi I'm Florence you can call me Flo"she replies with a smile on her face.
"Liz you can go and say hi to scar I've got her I want to get to know your girl" she says.
"Okay have fun sweetheart " she says kissing my cheek before waking away.
"So tell me about yourself"she requests still snacking in the crisps in her hands.
"Okay well I'm originally from Britain and I own a coffee shop and like playing instruments like guitar" I reply filling myself a drink.
"Wow no way your accent is gone I wouldn't of known that cool me too actually that's amazing"
She says to me now just realising her accent.
"Yes I've seen your films your really good at singing aren't you and now I've just realised your accent" i say back.
"Yep I do what part do you come from"she asks.
"Cornwall you've been?" I questioned
"I have its lush come on I'll introduce you to more"she say walking up to Cobie and Chris.
"Hey guys this is y/n,y/n this is Chris and Cobie"she says.
"Hi come sit down" Chris says nodding to the arm chair next to him.
After a few minutes of getting to know them we fall into and light conversation until Liz comes over and places herself next to me her arm round my waist.
"Hey angel" she says before giving me a peck,my cheeks going red at the new pet name.
"Hi princess" i reply kissing her head.
"Wait talk again"she says with a lifted eyebrow.
"Uhm you okay darling" i say still confused what she's on about.
"How much have you been talking to Flo your accents came back a bit gord its attractive"she says kissing me but I break it from laughter.
"I did tell you it comes back" i said rubbing her thigh up and down calmly as she melts into my embrace her face in my neck periodically kissing it.
"Y/n it's nice to meet you finally Liz as told me a lot about you when I asked about this special guest " Robert says coming to joins us with scar and Colin siting in the L shaped couch.
"Nice to meet you I hope only good things"i reply feeling nervous again.
"Of course she flaunted about you" Colin says.
"Hope so" i joked.
"Tell me about yourself y/n"Robert said.
"Uhm well I own a coffee shop i play guitar and I'm from the uk" i say not really knowing what to say.
"Oh no another Flo" he teases.
"I'll take that has a compliment"i joked making him laugh shaking he's head at me.
"Alright we're doing karaoke competition who's first" Scar announces.
"Come on let's go me and you y/n" Flo says making me shake my head saying no way.
"I wanna see if you can sing come onnn" she says making me reluctantly agree and doing the duet of anything you can do I can do better.
After we're done we get applauses making us take bows and blowing kisses to the crowd before sitting down sipping on my champagne.
"That was amazing baby"Liz says to me as I sit down giving her a kiss in thanks.
"Alright come on Liz let's out do them" scar says getting up getting a duet song and setting up at the mics choosing it wasnt me by shaggy.
Cheering and clapping started after the finished making them do a bows and joining on the couch for rdj and Chris go up for the next round as Liz comes back mildly out of breath but a smile on her face collapsing into my arms.
"There's nothing you can't do"i say into her hair and kiss the crown of her head.
After a few rounds people start to go home and Liz and me offered to help clean up putting drinks away before we say are goodbyes going home.
"Tonight was amazing I'm glad you get along with everyone well"she say pulling out the drive way.
"Same there all amazing and so nice" i reply.
"Would you like to sleep at mine tonight angel"she questions.
"Of course who would I be to say no to that"i tease
After a few minutes we pull up to her house getting in and changing are clothes into sleeping wear and cuddling up together saying goodnight before drifting to sleep.
