Hours have passed since Vox Machina returned home from their journey. Now they're rebuilding their home.
Percy hand mostly recovered thanks to Pike and made a new weapon.
Others are at the kitchen including trinket. Grog place a new door for the kitchen, but ends up dropping it and hurt his foot.
Grog: Ow! (Groan.) I hate doors.
Pike: I gotcha, buddies. (Heals Grog foot.)
Grog: (Smiles.) Aw, thanks, Pikey!
Grog hugs her tight enough that she's losing oxygen.
Pike: Okay. I can't really breath so...
Just then Scanlan enters with a smilskip
Scanlan: Ha ha! My masterpiece is complete! The epic story of our adventure. The dragon, the vampires, the cyclops I vanquished.
Vax: What cyclops?
Scanlan: Oh, I may have taken me artistic license.
YN: Nah, ya just gotta find a giant monster and poke one of its eyes out and then it'll be a cyclops.
Scanlan: Uh maybe later.
Percy: (Chuckles.) Wonderful, Scanlan. Looking forward to read it.
Scanlan: (Scoffs and smirk.) Read it? This tale is too great for a lousy book. No, our legend shall be told. (Grabs his lute.) 🎶 In soooong! 🎶
Everyone groans.
Grog: Yes!
YN: (Groan.) I should've let Delilah kill me. Least Jaskier isn't here.
Scanlan: 🎶 Sit down, my friends 🎶
🎶 And I'll start rockin' ya 🎶
🎶 With the epic legend of-
???: (Interrupt.) Vox Machina.
YN: Thank the gods.
Vox Machina left the kitchen and sees Jarett by the entrance.
Vax: Excellent timing, Jarett.
Jarett: (Grin.) The Sovereign has summoned you to the Cloudtop.
Vex: What? Like, now?
Jarett moves aside to let them exit first.
YN: Okay, seriously lad, you gotta give us a heads up sooner or somethin'.
Time skip
Vox Machina arrive to the Cloudtop where everyone is gathered in to hear the announcement. Soon they meet up Gilmore who's also in the meeting.
Gilmore: (Hugs Vax.) Vax'ildan! (Laughs.) Glad to see you alive and with all your...(Smirks.) Extremities intact.
Vax: (Smiles.) Looking sharp, Gilmore, as always.
Gilmore: Oh, this old thing?
He smirks as he made his clothes more stylish before Vax ask him.
Vax: Any idea what all this fuss is about?
Gilmore: The criers said Sovereign Uriel is to make a proclamation. (Softly laughs.) Seems juicy; the whole council showed up.
Uriel: Friends. In recent weeks, Tal'Dorei has been beset by evil, wearing the face of monsters and men. I relied on my best judgment to meet these threats.
But sadly, that judgment was greatly corrupted. The truth is, I allowed strangers into our midst, entrusting them with power they never should have had. Vox Machina.....saved us from this threat...yet again.
Vox Machina sigh in relief.
Uriel: They showed me that wisdom of a group, no matter how unconventional, outweighs that of the individual. There is foresight in friendship. My weakness put the realm in jeopardy.
But never again. And so, with humility, I hereby renounce the throne and cede the government to the council of Tal'Dorei.
The crowd gasp from his announcement and talking to each other until Uriel continues.
Uriel: These wise patriots shall ensure that Emon stands forever. (Crowd cheers.) Now in addition to the council members you already know, we will be adding a few more.
Suddenly Vex head begins to ring violently as she hold her head.
Vax: Vex, are you all right?
YN: What is it?
Vax: I don't know.
Soon YN's medallions begins to vibrate violently as well.
YN: Something's coming...
Uriel: Specifically, pillars of the community who have held up-
He was interrupted by the bell of the kingdome ringing from distance. Uriel then saw something where the sun is set. YN did the same as his eyes adjusted to the brightness.
Soon he sees something is coming from where the sun is.
Uriel: Gods above us...
YN: Uh, guys?
Keyleth looks as well and her eyes widen to see something is coming.
Keyleth: (Gasp.) No...
Four giant dragon are flying straight toward to the kingdom.
The dragon in the front reveals his eyes glowing-like lava.
Thordak: ROARS!
YN heavily sigh.
YN: We are so fucked.....again.
Vox Machina nods in agreement.
