Funneh has had her few shares of teachers the past school year. Some she loved, and some that she didn't like that much. Mainly because they didn't let her take naps while they taught or because they weren't very fun.

Mr. Draco was one of them. And she was so sure that he felt the same towards her - seeing as how mischievous the blunette was.

So it was confusing when he stopped her to ask her to give a lunchbox to one of her newer teachers without an explanation. A teacher that had literally just started teaching after he had resigned - her english teacher, Mr Tacoe.

And so, she confided in her friends during lunch. Obviously (awkwardly) giving the lunchbox to her english teacher before she went to her friends, which definitely caused some looks and whispering.

Remind her to not give things to teachers out in the open next time so that people wouldn't assume she had a crush on a literal teacher.

"I just don't get what you're confusing yourself for?" Kyran says, looking at the blunette who was lying down on the grass, struggling to figure out what the connection was between Mr. Tacoe and Mr. Draco.

She hated how he had a point. Maybe they were just roommates and she was overthinking it. Funneh did that when she was being too curious for her own sake.

Gold rolls her eyes. She agreed with the blue-haired male as well. "You're just being nosy, Funneh." She says, earning a glare from her friend. It's not like she cared though. The girl had better use for her time instead of overthinking about their english teacher and ex-homeroom teacher.

"Funneh isn't wrong in a way though. I mean-" Of course Alec had jumped in to defend her. Kyran and Gold both gave a look at each other. With how much the two defended each other, you'd think they were already together and still not on their oblivious stage.

"Yeah!" The blunette spontaneously shouted, surprising everyone at her unexpected interruption and at her sudden jump. "Aren't you guys curious about them? How could they know each other without meeting yet?"

"There's life out of school, Funneh. I'm sure they're probably just really good friends. You're overthinking this too much." The blunette scoffs at Kyran's response.

"Stop being so smart and making valid points!" "I'll stop when you actually make sense."

As the two bickered, Gold scooted over to the redhead who had been quietly waiting for the two to stop fighting. "This is your fault, you shouldn't have enabled Funneh about her theories." She whispers, giggling.

He agrees though. Maybe he should've kept quiet.

They in fact did not seem like they were just friends.

These favors had been starting to be more constant, and even Mr. Tacoe himself started to ask the blunette to give stuff to Mr. Draco.

For christ's sake, it went to the point where she didn't bother going to her locker as soon as she arrived because she knew when her old teacher would arrive!

What on earth was going on these two that they had their (ex) student to pass gifts and stuff to each other. It was as if she was their messenger!

And Funneh was sick of it, precisely. I mean, who wouldn't?

So she made sure to arrive earlier than usual, waking up before Gold did (which shocked the brunette, almost giving her a heart attack when she saw the dorm mate all dressed up at 7am). As soon as she entered the school's premises, she went out to find her english teacher.

She almost gave Mr. Tacoe a scare, making him jump from his chair when she had cheerfully greeted him as he got ready for his first class of the day.

Definitely a change of schedule. He was surprised to see her earlier than she usually was at school. With their new daily routine, he was used to seeing her run to his classroom to give him something before rushing off to her own class.

"Good morning Mr. Tacoe! Do you mind if I borrow some of your time?" Funneh chirps.

He smiled, nodding as he had stood up from his seat. He liked that the young blunette was such a happy pill. Her young and energetic self was definitely different from the moody teenagers he usually dealt with.

"What can I help you with, Funneh?" Mr. Tacoe questions, looking at her. For some reason, she had looked at the clock before answering him.

"I just need to talk to you about a few things on the English homework you assigned!" That made sense. But he was confused about the blunette coming in early for that when he had asked the class multiple times if they had any questions.

She proceeds with a question. "Do you mind if we talk outside? I just need to grab my Science textbook so that I don't have to rush to get it later." The english teacher agrees, oblivious to his student's intentions.

As expected, Mr. Draco had just arrived with a box in hand, just in time for the beginning of their routine.

Although, Mr. Tacoe didn't seem to notice - far too busy with explaining the homework to her, Funneh had noted.

"Good morning, Mr. Draco!" She greets him with a smile, making the other teacher stop in his place. "Here for your daily package?" She asks, and the ex-homeroom teacher couldn't help but laugh.

"He may be academically smart but he's definitely not in other ways!" Funneh thought. "How hasn't he noticed that Mr. Tacoe is literally standing behind me."

"I'm here for that indeed, Ms. Funneh." He answers happily. "And it seems like you brought my husband as your company this time?"

Okay, maybe he wasn't so stupid after all.

Wait.

Did he just call Mr. Tacoe his husband??

The blunette looked like it was as if she had seen a ghost. And the two couldn't help but laugh, finding the poor girl's reaction amusing. Judging by that, they had now just figured that she had just found out about their relationship.

Although it was quite funny to them. How the blunette basically went through a whole month, probably questioning to herself what was the connection between the two of them yet never knowing that the two were in fact married.

"You-" She pauses, looking at the two of them and at their hands. Oh god, they had rings, they were actually married and she never connected the dots. "You two are married?! Then why the hell did you two make me pass packages when you could've done that at your place??"

"We don't live with each other, Funneh." Mr. Draco explains with a chuckle. "Not for now, at least. I'm staying at a friend's place and Mr. Tacoe is staying on campus for the meantime. We're waiting for our house to be finished."

Funneh had processed all of that new information in her mind. Her poor brain couldn't handle all of this at 9 am.

Her phone vibrated, a text from Gold coming through telling her to meet her at the gymnasium as their friends were gathered there. She'll definitely have to thank her friend as soon as she got there.

She had awkwardly chuckled. "I have to go, my friend asked me to meet her-!" Funneh exclaims, waving at the two. "Nice talking with you and your husband, Mr. Tacoe, bye!" She bids before running off to her friends.

Safe to say, she was able to prove Kyran wrong about the two teachers being roommates.

As Evan had said after hearing the story,

"I guess students are the new historians."
