Lylas' POV:
The stupid weekend went by slowly making me dread the feeling of seeing Mr.Grey. I was going to honestly skip his class until the end of times but Ethan with his cold hearted self threw me over his shoulder and carried me all the way to my seat telling me that if he caught me out of class he would bring me back. I was mad at him but I knew he cared though he acted like he didn't with his unemotional face.
Class started and as soon as Mr.Grey walked in we locked eyes. Mines widen as my breath hitched and a smirk played at his lips. Fuck I'm so screwed. He definitely read that stupid email, he's smirking for gods sake! Unless he finally got laid, then maybe he'll be lenient on me.
The class started and he taught regularly not mentioning the essay thankfully. The end of the class rolled around making me sigh relieved. For some reason I felt like I couldn't breath throughout the whole fucking lecture. I couldn't even sleep to make the time go by faster. As I stuffed my unmarked note book into my bag a figure loomed over me; and by the sexy scent that roamed of the person I knew exactly who it was.
"Ms. Lyla." He said with a smile when I looked up at him. He never smiles, I'm so screwed. He placed a paper on my desk upside down as I squeezed my bag scared to see what was on the other side of that. Probably detention for the rest of the year. He also called me Lyla, I'm definitely fucked.
"Have a nice day Ms.Valentine." and with that he turned around and walked to his desk.
"Did he just smile at you?" Delilah whispered making me slowly nod with terror all over my face not wanting to touch the paper.
I grabbed it and flipped it slowly only to see it was my rude email...corrected. He literally took the time to put 'indent' 'asshole*' 'double space.' the man corrected the fucking thing and placed a 50% at the top 'for the effort.' Fucking jackass!
"What's that?" I handed her the paper as my eyes met his.
I scowled at him when I saw him smirking at me leaning back in his high back chair with his phone in one hand as the other drummed against the armrest. Ugh that bastard! I threw my bag over my shoulder and stormed out. He needs a fucking life. At least I didn't get detention. My phone was blowing up with texts from the group chat with my crazy crew and texts from Ryan. I just told them he didn't have a life and took the time to correct my fucking rambling.
[Lunch Time]
"So he just corrected the email and didn't say anything to you?" I nodded placing a French fry in my mouth.
"Ugh that bastard!" I shouted getting up and going to the end of the table. I stood facing the crew and grabbed the paper from Eric's hands and teared it up pissed off.
"What I wouldn't do to fucking strangle the idiot!"
"Uhh..Lyla?" Justin spoke but I didn't listen.
"I mean seriously?! Corrected the fucking thing?! He needs a fucking life!"
"Lyla..." Sofi said but I was too caught up in my rambling.
"God I want to snap his fucking neck like a twig!"
"Uh Lyla.." Elena now spoke.
"I wish he would just fucking die or retire; how much jail time do you guys think I'll get if I killed him?"
"Lyla."
"Your right that's crazy, still I want to just wrap my hands around his neck and choke him until he passes out."
"LYLA!" They all shouted pointing behind me.
"He's right behind me isn't he?" They nodded and I felt like slapping myself.
"Fuck me." I said lowly as I slowly turned around to a very pissed off Mr.Grey who had his arms crossed over his broad chest and brow arched.
"I'd rather not." He said coldly looking even more pissed.
"Oh please do continue, don't stop on my account, enlighten me, what else did you want to rant about?" He mocked. Fuck I'm an idiot.
"Hey...Mr.Grey...lovely day we're having right?" I said awkwardly.
"OUTSIDE NOW!" Don't have to tell me twice. I scurried off outside of the cafeteria and followed him to his office. God I'm such an idiot.
"Sir I-I didn't mean any of it I promise you that." I hurriedly said hoping he wouldn't give me detention. I was in desperate need of some downtime after all of this.
"You didn't mean it?" He asked lowly as he nodded slowly at his words.
"Definitely didn't Mr.Grey." I nodded quickly and hoped he'll let me slide by.
"Snap my neck like a twig? What else was there? You hope I'd die? What does hating me do for you Ms.Valentine?"
"Excuse me?"
"Well with such strong language in an e-mail and then this, it's clear that you hate me Ms.Valentine." I just watched him with no words to speak whatsoever. Definitely wasn't expecting him to be so calm. I rather him yell at me than being this calm, that's psychotic behavior.
"You should put all that passion into your school work, maybe you'll get somewhere in life." He rolled his eyes and I didn't know how to feel about that comment.
"You may leave." I did just that not daring to stay in this suffocating office. I swear every time I'm near this man I can't fucking breath.
[dorm-room]
"So he just let you go? Just like that?" Elena asked making me nod as I laid on my bed staring at the ceiling.
"No punishment?"
"Nothing, just an insult."
"He might like you." Delilah said as she laughed.
"Don't be stupid, that man probably hates me more than he did before."
"Think of it, he always picks on you, he smiled at you today, he also smirked at you I saw it! And then now this? He definitely wants a piece of that Lyla cake." She said teasingly making me sit up on my bed.
"Well he won't be getting any! Especially with the way he fucking insulted me!"
"Can you blame him? I mean you're flunking all around Lyla." Sofi said making me glare at her.
"Well excuse me for not caring." I rolled my eyes hopping out of bed and throwing a hoodie on.
"I'm going for a walk." I grabbed my keys and went on about my day.
My walk was going so good until I ran into the wicked witch of the west.
"Well if it isn't Ms.Can't-stay-out-of-trouble." Nataly said stopping me. God this bitch needs a life.
"Don't you have any other clothes?" I glanced down at my worn out hoodie, my beat up shoe, and my ripped jeans before looking up at her.
"Don't you have any other personality traits other than being a useless bitch who hates herself?" She glared at me and lucky me Ryan came up to me and threw an arm over my shoulder.
"Don't study her she's just jealous." He said as he pulled me away from the situation.
I'm going to break her nose one of these days.
