It was night, the event shall start soon and Liz were at the mirror checking out her outfit to see that if it fits her. Wonyoung right beside her smiling at her then Liz spin around with a smile on her lips.
"Do I look pretty?" Liz asked
"You look magnificent your majesty" Wonyoung said
"Thank you eonnie." Liz said
"So your majesty?" Wonyoung said
"Yes?"
"Are you really going to marry the king?" Wonyoung said
Liz look at her and smiled "Actually-"
Someone knocked on the door
"Your majesty!" Soobin said
"Come in!" Liz said
"Forgive my intrusion but it's been a long time since I saw you, your majesty" Soobin said and kissed the back of her hand
"Well it's been 10 years now Your highness" Liz said
"Please just call me Soobin, you were still the highest of all. Even I, the king of empire have no power to cut you off" Soobin said
"If you say so, Soobin" Liz said
Soobin smiled. Wonyoung just watch them and she remembered you. She pitied you but she kept quiet.
"So about my offer, your majesty" Soobin said
"Go ahead" Liz said
"May I ask for your hand in marriage?" Soobin said
Liz just stare at him
"I know this is sudden but please let me be honest, I have liked you ever since you decided to become the leader of all people and Demi humans that strives for peace. Since then I have watched you and admired your courage to fight for greater good. I was surprised that you chose me to become the king of empire when I was just a mere helper. Since then, I wanted to be with you for the rest of my life, so Your majesty, Queen Liz, Will you marry me?" Soobin kneeled
Liz hold his hand and smiled "Soobin about your offer"
Wonyoung just watch them talk.

The event started and everyone were having fun and chatting one another. There is not high or low kind inside, all were equal to each other's eyes. You were watching at the top balcony, staring at each kind, humans and Demi humans. You smiled softly but at the back of your heart, you were broken for you saw Liz and Soobin laughing and talking even whispering on each other.
"They must've been engaged now to each other. There is no purpose to stay here and watch. It's time to go." you spoke
Liz saw you sitting at the balcony and disappear which made her sad.
"It's not what you think it is my hero" Liz mumbled
"Your majesty" Soobin said
"Yes Soobin?"
"Enjoying the party?" Soobin asked
"Yeah" Liz said
As the endinh comes everyone went back to their home. There was a huge silence at the empire, the moon were shining so bright at the dark sky, beautiful stars can be seen, Liz were at her room leaning on the window staring at the sky. She knew you were gonna come back for she was holding a item that you dropped yesterday.
You jumping from roof to roof when suddenly you remember that you left the ruby necklace that was your gift to Liz if things went great but it didn't. You didn't want to come back but you think Liz and Soobin were together now so it's not a problem for you to take it back.
You head towards the castle of Liz to her room then you saw her windows open. You went inside and saw the ruby necklace at the table, you walk towards it and take it but you felt a presence.
"I knew your gonna come back for it" Liz spoke
You turn around and saw Liz staring at you from the corner.
"Oh.... Sorry for intruding I just came here to take the necklace of mine that I dropped yesterday, I'm gonna leave now." you said
"No you won't" Liz close the window
"What are you doing?" You asked
"Don't leave me again for another hundred of years. I can't take it" Liz said
"Why would I stay? I don't have any reason to come back" You said
"Then why did you come back?" Liz said
"Because I...." You can't utter any word
"I knew you have been watching me for years now and I knew you have feelings for me. You have been guarding me all this time and that's the reason why you cannot go back" Liz said
"Liz that is before but now"
"But now what? You have lost interest in me because of someone just asked for my hand in marriage? Is that it?" Liz said
"No I didn't lose my feelings for you I was just letting you go to live happily" you said
"What if I don't want to?" Liz said
"You cannot change the fact that you already belongs to someone else" You said
"I don't belong to anyone, at least not yet" Liz walk towards you "I rejected the offer of Soobin for I didn't want to marry someone whom I didn't even love"
You were speechless
"I want you to stay beside me and be with me forever for you are the one I want to spend my whole life with and I love you y/n...." Liz said
You removed your mask and lean a kiss on her lips as she replied back. You lay Liz on the bed staring at each other eyes you continued the kiss as it all became passionate.
"I love you Liz"
"I love you too y/n"

Morning comes, Liz woke up and saw you staring at her.
"Morning my love" You spoke
Liz smiled and snuggled closer to you "Morning my dear"
"You have appointment to attend to my love so we better get moving" You said
"Oh yeah I forgot" Liz said
"Let me wear my clothes first" you stood up and took your clothes and wore it
You were holding your shirt then Liz body were still wrapped around by a blanket as she walk towards you.
"Your gonna go again?" Liz asked
"Well I am a wanderer so yeah, but I'm always nearby" you said
"Can you stay? Stay right here with me, I don't want to see you go again" Liz said
"Should I?" You wrapped your arms around her waist
"Naughty boy.... Touching me like that" Liz said
"Why? I can't help it" you said
"you should have some self control young man" Liz kisses your lips
Wonyoung walk towards the door of Liz's room then she knocked and opened it.
"Your majesty are you awake-huh?" Wonyoung saw you and Liz "Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" Wonyoung close the door
"Well... There's a witness" Liz said
"Well can't hide it anymore" you said
"We should get dressed"
"Are you done now your majesty?" Wonyoung said
"Well we are still not prepared so please give us some time" Liz said
"I'll be at the lobby if you need me your majesty" Wonyoung said
"Will do" Liz said
Wonyoung walk away
"We should take a bath" You said
"We should" Liz said

You help Liz enter the carriage.
"Are you not gonna come in?" Liz asked
"I'll be nearby guarding you my love don't worry I should avoid getting the attention of people" you said
"Okay, your not gonna leave right?" Liz said
"I won't, I can promise you that" you said and kissed her lips
"Bye" Liz said
"I'll be watching you from a small distance" you said
Wonyoung went in and you wore your mask and disappeared. Liz meet up with Soobin and they head towards the other empire but they were ambushed by enemies, rogues assassins and ninja and their goal is to kill Liz.
"Everyone protect the Queen!!" Soobin ordered
The enemies were too many and they manage to get a hand of Liz, a lot of soldiers die and they manage to capture them.
"Haha! The peacekeeper were weak!" The leader said "I guess the queen has some nice body and beautiful face"
"You bastards!" Soobin said but got punch by some bandits
"As much as I would like to kill you but I'll have my fun first" Leader scanned Liz as he slides his knife to her shirt
"You will pay for your crimes" Liz said
"Really? The Hero only appear once in a blue moon so he appeared hundred years ago, so it's going to be thousands more before he appears again so he cannot save you now" leader said
"What makes you say that? The Hero is always near me, guarding me" Liz said
"You?! Guarding?! Haha don't make me love the hero doesn't hold any attachment here! He was nothing but a spirit! Don't make some self proclaim that he was guarding you! When you were never been one!" he slapped Liz
Then in a blink of an eye you were right behind him burning in fury as small lightning sparks surrounds you. Everyone were surprised seeing you appeared out of nowhere.
"Who told you she was lying?" you spoke
The bandits started quivering in fear
"She wasn't lying. How dare you touch my woman!!!" You said and spin around splitting him in half "Now you bandits must die!"
You slayed every bandits in a blink of an eye, you were so fast, so fast that only small sparks can be seen. You remove them from being tied then you walk towards Liz carrying her for you can see she was wounded from the leg.
"Sorry for being late" you said
"It's okay my love I'm fine" Liz said
"It's not fine to me, look! Your wounded!" You said
"It's just a small scratch" Liz said
"small or big, it does matter" you said
Liz laughed
"Let me heal you" you said and healed her wound
"You have a soft hands, like a woman" Liz said
"Don't tease me my queen" you said
"Fine fine" Liz said
Everyone were surprised to see you and hearing you said the word "my woman". This made them feel like you never left their side plus the one you have a huge reason to stay for the girl whom you care the most were here.
"Now let me revive those who sacrificed their lives to protect you" you said "Reincarnation!"
Every soldiers who died were revived and they saw you beside Liz. All of them kneeled and showed their respect to you and this made you happy.
"Arise everyone" you said "From now on, I, the Hero who saved everyone from darkness of light I go by the name Y/n, know my name and I will always be here watching over my queen, Liz. Protect my queen with all of your life and I shall honor everyone. Rejoice for I will not leave this place again."
Everyone cheered and you look at Liz and she chuckles. You escorted them to the other empire, you were on the horse and you were beside the carriage, Liz were staring at you from the window and you look at her.
"Why are you staring at me my love?" You said
"Nothing.... I just want to look at you" Liz said
"I'm going to melt if you keep doing that" You said
"You won't" Liz said
You chuckles.
