scaramouche responded to yao yao who grinned "come on let's go before they notice we're gone!" yao yao said while looking at sara and itto who were arguing.
"goodbye cat" scaramouche mumbled before leaving the purple kitten alone, he felt guilty but it was just a cat after all
right?
"look there's a convenience store, wanna get snacks?" yao yao pointed while scaramouche scoffed "I don't shop at places like those." yao yao glared at him, "you're like a rich brat I always see in the movies."
"come on!" yao yao dragged scaramouche into the convenience store despite his protest, and was secretly hurt that yao yao called him a rich brat
"what is this place.... It's full of instant food." scaramouche deadpanned while yao yao was looking at the snack section
a bag a chocolates shaped like frogs caught her eyes, "gosh you want that disgusting looking chocolate" scaramouche stared at the poor shaped chocolate but somehow the little girl still wanted it,
"we have to save the chocolate frogs from the plastic!" yao yao gasped "help scara pleaseeeee" she begged while scaramouche was dumbfounded
"I don't want to buy that stupid thing." scaramouche scowled and yao yao frowned,"please please please or else I'll start screaming and crying."
"pftt you wouldn't." scaramouche rolled his eyes and didn't realize the little girl would actually start crying and screaming..
everyone in the convenience store looked at him which caused scaramouche to freeze up, "stop crying yao yao!" scaramouche whispered yelled "only if you buy me chocolate frogs!" yao yao cried out while scaramouche sighed as she kept of crying,
"OKAY ILL BUY IT JUST STOP CRYING!" scaramouche yelled which caused the people in the store to gasp, "okay!" yao yao wiped her tears and grabbed some chocolate frogs and holding hands with scaramouche,
"pay please." yao yao smiled while scaramouche sweat-dropped.

"I need to buy cup noodles, Yao's favourite chocolate frogs, milk, chips and new dish soap." y/n mumbled to herself while walking into the convenience store,
she walked passes the cashier and spotted a familiar head, "scaramouche?" y/n muttered which cause scaramouche to turn around....
"y/n..?" scaramouche mumbled while holding onto yao yao's hand, "yao yao what are you doing with scaramouche." y/n sighed while yao yao whined "it's such a long story oneesan but to put it short, I prefer scara over sara!"
the h/c-nette raised a brow at the bag of chocolate frogs "how did you get that?" yao yao smiled and pointed at scaramouche who just awkwardly stood there "I'm sorry for her.... I'll pay you back right now." y/n frowned searching for her wallet in her pocket, scaramouche stopped her and declined it,
"it's fine, it's what friends do.... No?" scaramouche gave a slight smug smile wanting to see her reaction while y/n gasped "THE SCARAMOUCHE CAN SMILE!? AND HE CONSIDERS ME AS HIS FRIEND!?" which caused scaramouche to immediately stop.
"I'm joking! smile more... it suits you." y/n said before grinning at the indigo head and nudging his arm "come on yao yao let's go find sara after shopping for some things." y/n ordered which made yao yao pout,
"I want to stay with scara!" yao yao whined before hiding behind scaramouche "I'm gonna give you a count to 3." y/n glared at her..

y/n went around scaramouche before yao yao kept running around, scaramouche did not know what to do in this situation and just stood there helplessly watching the h/c-nette chase yao.
finally y/n had caught yao and was dragging her by the ear, "ah sorry again for her scaramouche! I'll pay you back in school!" y/n smiled ignoring the whining yao and was still holding onto her ear, y/n was about to walk away until scaramouche grabbed her free arm,
"wait." scaramouche spoke up, "shit why did I do that" scaramouche thought before mentally sighing "I can take care of her." scaramouche said without thinking "oh.. but I wouldn't want you to become her baby sitter...... buttttt you could tag along with us" y/n blabbered before checking scaramouche's facial expressions.
"only if you want!" y/n said making sure the indigo head heard her,
"sure" scaramouche replied.

and that's how the three of them ended up together shopping in the convenience store, scaramouche carried the sleeping yao yao and followed the h/c girl, "woah they have my favourite spicy cup noodles in stock!" y/n's eyes brightened before grabbing two and placing it in the basket.
"you haven't ate yet right?" y/n asked while scaramouche nodded, "well let's eat this!" y/n smiled before picking up the basket and walking to the cashier,
after paying for the food y/n heated up two of the spicy cup noodles and brought it down near the window where yao yao and scaramouche was sitting, "hey I hope you like spicy" y/n smiled while placing down the cup noodles
y/n started eating while scaramouche stared at the noodles before picking up his chopsticks and trying it....
surprisingly the girl had good taste, and the noodles were very spicy and flavourful just to scaramouche's liking,
"it may not be as good or expensive like the food at restaurant we ate at but this is still really good plus it's cheaper" y/n said before taking a sip of the soup, "it's okay" scaramouche said before eating more noodles,
"anyways wanna hear more about the story I told you last time" y/n grinned before telling the indigo head more stories and drama who was listening very closely and occasionally grinning without realizing.

meanwhile with itto and sara, they were still arguing and hadn't realized scaramouche and yao yao left since they were so into the fight,
even lumine noticed that scaramouche and yao yao had ditched the two amd she was planning on charging the bill to itto.
"I'm sorry but if you two keep fighting I'll have to kick you two out, the cats are getting scared and costumers are getting concerned." lumine sighed while itto and sara glared at eachother.
"I'm sorry about her behaviour" itto faked frowned while sara was about to punch him and itto stuck his tounge out at her.
"Are you guys done eating?" lumine asked and itto and sara nodded, "well here is the bill" lumine passed the bill to itto,
"Wait! I told you that scaramouche would pay for it━" itto stared at the empty seat, "Where did yao yao and scaramouche go?!" itto panicked while sara laughed at him,
"she will be paying the bill!" itto pointed at sara, "what?! No I'm not!" sara slammed her first on the table which caused the cats to flinch.
"oh my fucking gosh, JUST SPLIT THE DAMN BILL AND STOP FIGHTING ALREADY!" lumine snapped while caused itto and sara to stay quiet,
"fine we'll split the bill."

yunjin was looking at the convenience store, "well I got my pay check so why not treat myself to cup noodles!" she thought before happily walking in,
as she payed for her cup noodles, she spotted two familiar figures, "IS THAT SCARAMOUCHE AND Y/N?!" yunjin yelled before clapping her hand over her mouth and ducking below the cash register
"I swear someone just yelled out names?" scaramouche said while y/n shrugged and continued eating....
yunjin took out her phone and took photos,
"she better have a good explanation for this." yunjin mumbled while examining the photos

I've been so stressed and busy lately with school and sports which I apologize for🥲
also I was thinking of deleting everything and re-writing attention because honestly I hate how I wrote so that's why it took so long for me to upload the next chapter.
