Once upon a time
In a land full of sweet little lies
There was a kid,
born under the Pisces' sign.
So innocent and pure,
but he grew up under a dark sky
Where everyone seemed to be doing fine
Avoiding their problems,
Acting as if they were blind.
As he got older,
The little kid managed to survive
but deep down,
he thought he should have died.
He was trapped
in the insides of his own mind:
A foggy and complex labyrinth,
Where life was the prize,
but a motive to stay alive,
the little man couldn't find.
He was selfless, self-destructive
Used to self-sabotaging and self-limiting.
The little man would draw
And paint a self portrait
And then sell it to all the people around.
He would write a book with his self-narrative
And then rewrite it because of his self-criticism.
As he got older, the little man realised
He could be whoever he wanted in life
So he self-taught
how to practice self-love for himself.
He learned how to be self-motivated,
and how to be self-employed.
The little man learned
how to be self-supporting of his own art.
He managed to become a self-made man
And to create a new different self portrait
That he would show to all the people around
Rather than selling it to anyone in town.
He would write a new book and leave it as it is:
A book filled with a side of pain, fear
And past insecurities
Along with a side of love, light and growth
'Cause this is his side of the story
And he fell in love with life.
