It all happened in slow motion. One minute she was focused on berating Bianca the next she couldn't focus on anything but the single drop of Bianca's blood that fell on the floor. The sound of it splashing against the padded floor seemed to ring in her ears with everything else fading out
Looking up she could only focus on the blood in Bianca's hands that was slipping out of her wound Bianca's heartbeat that was racing. Elvira herself was breathing fast and uncontrollably unable to hear the concerned questions of Enid or the realization Yoko came to or Ajax trying to get her attention. All Elvira could focus on was the blood that was so desperately singing to her begging to be drunk
Moving at the speed of light Elvira was in front of Bianaca and ignoring the startled yelp Bianca let out, Elvira's eyes focused on the blood, oh the sweet delectable tasty red blood. Fangs popping out of her mouth Bianca screamed in fright moving back, Elvira opened her mouth and quickly shut it when she smelt something even better, Pine and chocolate she shivered at the smell Oh so good better than Bianca that's for sure
Snapping her head to the side Elvira could see blood dripping out of Ajax's palm and blood on his sword "Come on Angel" He spoke "Come back to me" He continued "Yea there you go good girl" He said once he saw her looking at him "Come here Elvira" He spoke, eyes still zoned in the blood Elvira was surprised when something was unexpectedly shoved in her mouth and someone was holding her arms down fighting against the person without trying to hurt them she choked on what she could now identify as blood
After tasting it she stopped fighting and drank the blood rapidly "There you go Angel good girl drink all of it there you go" A voice whispered in her ear as she drained the blood bag dry and another was placed in her mouth "Bianca go to the nurse everyone else dismissed" She heard Coach say though it was muffled as she was only focused on the blood "I got it Yoko you can go" The voice stated
Pulling away from the blood bag Elvira panted slightly slumping against the person holding her "Had enough Angel" The person asked, slowly coming down from her slight blood frenzy Elvira identified the person as Ajax how he got behind her she didn't know and she didn't care all she cared about was how she lost control for the first time in two years
"Yea yea I'm fine" Elvira nodded looking around she could see they somehow made it to the floor "Thank you" She stated as they stood up facing each other Ajax still holding her hands "Uh it's fine" Ajax blushed noticing their hands both quickly pulling away with blushes on their face Elvira stepped back "Thank you Ajax really but I have to go" Elvira stated looking at him one more time smiling and disappearing
"Why does she always end up leaving" Ajax grunted before he too walked out, walking across the school Elvira was met with Wednesday who looked gloomier than usual "Hey Wednesday are you ok" She asked Wednesday looked at her "I almost died today" She said blankly "Oh I'm sorry for your loss" Elvira nodded sympathetically "It's fine I suppose the way it happened wasn't particularly one of my taste" Wednesday responded "I am now heading back to the dorm for my writing time would you like to join me" Wednesday asked "Uh sure" Elvira nodded
"What happened there" Elvira asked nodding towards the window that was half normal and half rainbow "Enid's side looks like a Unicorn threw up, I am allergic to color so I split the room in half" Wednesday answered "Okay" Elvira dragged out before her enhanced hearing picked up scruffling on her bed, she watched as Wednesday paused her writing as if hearing it too
Wednesday stood up walked to her bed and flicked the covers off it revealing a severed hand with stitches on it "Wicked" Elvira breathed out "I knew it hello Thing" Wednesday said, it tried hiding under the cover again as if it would make it disappear
Wednesday reached forward to grab it as it grabbed onto her bed frame holding on for dear life before she yanked him off quite violently "Did you think my highly trained olfactory wouldn't pick up on the faint whiff of neroli and bergamot in your favorite hand lotion, I could do this all day" Wednesday blanked struggling to hold the hand
Thing was wriggling in her grasp as it tried to escape, Wednesday walked to her desk and slammed the hand down on it "Surrender" Thing starts tapping the table hurriedly, Wednesday lets it go and starts questioning it "Mother and Father sent you to spy on me didn't they" Wednesday asked Thing shook his finger
"I'm not above breaking a few fingers" Wednesday threatened "That they thought I wouldn't find out proves how much they underestimate me" Wednesday continued as Thing did sign language to try and explain her parents are only worried for her, Elvira could only watch this bizarre situation quietly figuring Wednesday forgot about her
"OhThing you poor naive appendage my parents aren't worried about me They are evil puppeteers, who want to pull my strings even from afar" Wednesday berated Thing stood still "The way I see it you have two options, Option one" Wednesday quickly grabbed Thing "I lock you in here for the rest of the semester and you go slowly insane trying to claw your way out" Thing grabs the desk trying to escape only ending up scratching the desk making Elvira cover her ears and whimper at the horrid noise
"Ruining your nails and your smooth, supple skin and we both know how vain you are option two" She places him on the desk "You pledge your undying loyalty to me" Thing paused for 5 seconds before kneeling reluctantly "Our first order of business is to escape this teenage purgatory" Wednesday spoke he taps on the desk asking "Of course I have a plan, and it begins now" She said almost as if Thing insulted her "Um I'm just gonna go, it was nice meeting you Thing" Elvira spoke before vamp speeding away, Thing tapped on the table "No she's not a friend" Wednesday denied
"Hey Yoko oh my God I am so sorry" Elvira greeted before rushing out after seeing Yoko kissing someone "You can come in Elvira" Yokos voice spoke from the other side of the door "I'm really sorry Yoko I just needed my phone" Elvira stated grabbing her phone from the dresser "Its fine Ria this is Divina" Yoko paused "My girlfriend" She continued
"Oh it's nice to meet you" Elvira smiled at the girl with short hair and white eyes, she smelled like the ocean "Siren right that's so cool" Elvira asked "How'd you" Divina trailed off looking at Yoko "It's part of my thing I guess" Elvira shrugged "You smell like the ocean though" Elvira told her "Oh are you a vampire like Ko" Divina asked "Kinda" Elvira said switching her hand to a wolf paw
"Awesome" The duo breathed from Yoko's bed "Hey Ria Weems said you were a Trybrid right" Yoko asked tilting her head "Mhm" Elvira nodded going on her phone "So your a vampire and wolf what's the third" She asked "A witch" Elvira answered "Wow you can do magic" Divina asked wide-eyed Elvira closed her eyes and palm before whispering an incantation
Opening her eyes she looked at the duo who looked excited "Ready" She asked, they nodded, opening her palm an orange monarch butterfly flew from her hand with orange whisps trailing after it before it flew around the room
"Beautiful" Divina grinned looking at it fly around the room before disappearing "That was awesome" They said "Thanks but I have to go it was nice meeting you Divina" Elvira said standing up and getting a wave from both girls "It was nice meeting you too Elvira" Divina smiled before Elvira closed the door
"Littlest Witch" Kol greeted answering his phone "Uncle Kol something is wrong with me" Elvira said walking down the stairs and into the quad "What happened are you ok do I need my bat" Her Uncle rushed out "No no nothing like that it's just" She sighed looking at the sky "I lost control" She told him, Kol paused his niece who was going strong for two years lost control " What happened" He demanded
"I don't know one minute I'm dethroning a stuck-up bitch the next I'm trying to eat said bitch" She told him "And my Wolf and Vampire have been going on and on about a Mate or something," Elvira said "Mate" Kol growled out "Yea mate what's it mean" She asked
"Littlest Witch have you felt a pull in your chest" Kol asked "Yea yea I have it's only when I'm near a certain person why" She answered "Is this a boy are girl person" He asks rushed, Elvira furrows her brows "A boy" She reveals
"Bloody hell" Kol cursed lightly "Uncle Kol" She asked worried "It's fine Littlest Witch I'm going to be on the first plane to Romania to explain everything to you just try and drink as much blood as possible even if you aren't hungry" Kol told her
Elvira bit her lip it seemed like her uncle knew what was going on and for him to not share with her was quite a shock since they share everything with each other "Ok" She nodded "Ok I'll see you soon then" She told him "Alright sit tight Littlest witch" He said before hanging up
Elvira sighed "Why can't life be easy" She asked looking at the sky barely registering that the sun was going down, sighing she trudged to her room and into her pjs which were a pair of Nike shorts and an oversized sweatshirt bored since Yoko wasn't there she ventured to Wednesday's room knocking she didn't get a response so using her advanced hearing she could hear an instrument
Opening the door Elvira walked into an empty room but Wednesday was outside on the other side of the window with a cello "Hey" Elvira greeted watching Wednesday tune her cello "Evening Elvira" Wednesday nodded "I am about to play would you like to join me" Wednesday asked "Oh um I'm I'm not good at the whole music thing it was kind of my sister's thing" Elvira rushed out Wednesday just looked at her
Elvira sighed "Alright what is it" She asked "Paint it black do you know it" Wednesday asked "Can I see the music sheet" She asked, Thing hopped onto the stand with the sheets pointed towards her "Thanks" She nodded looking at it and mumbling the words to herself Elvira set it back on the music stand before sitting on the edge of the wall facing Wednesday "Ready" Elvira asked
Wednesday nodded before they started with Wednesday playing the Cello "I see a red door" Elvira sang "And I want it painted black" Elvira breathed "No colors anymore, I want them to turn black" Across the way Xavier looked up from his mural and smiled hearing his friend singing but confused on who was playing the Cello till he seen the window "I see the girls walk by, Dressed in their summer clothes, I have to turn my head, Until my darkness goes" Elvira belted
Weems closed her eyes and leaned back enjoying the melodious sounds "I see a line of cars, And they're all painted black, With flowers and my love Both never to come back I've seen people turn their heads And quickly look away Like a newborn baby It just happens every day" Elvira smiled as she sang "I look inside myself And see my heart is black I see my red door I must have it painted black Maybe then, I'll fade away And not have to face the facts It's not easy facing up When your whole world is black" Wednesday started going faster making Elvira smile "No more will my green sea go turn a deeper blue I could not foresee this thing happening to you" Down in the conservatory Thornhill looked up from the plant she was tending to and smile
"If I look hard enough Into the setting sun My love will laugh with me Before the morning comes" Elvira looked at the sky "I see a red door And I want it painted black No colors anymore" Elvira sings "I want them to turn black I see the girls walk by Dressed in their summer clothes" Elvira looked to the side and waved at Xavier who smiled back
"I have to turn my head Until my darkness goes I wanna see it painted Painted black Black as night Black as coal I wanna see the sun Blotted out from the sky I wanna see it painted, painted, painted Painted black, yeah" Elvira held the last note as Wednesday finished breathing heavily, Thing tapped the music stand "No I don't feel better" Wednesday answered "That was awesome Wednesday nice skills" Elvira complements getting a nod in return
