I want it to stop
I want everything to stop
The pounding in my head
The tears in eyes
And the stupid heart beat in my ears

I want all of it to stop

Like at the end of a film
Soft music
Tragic yet gentle
Chime to an end and fade
Slowly
Followed by a black screen
Before the credits
All loose ends tied up
No more questions or answers
Nothing more to be said
It just is
End slate
Black screen
Complete
Quiet
All of it
Stopped
