The Russian witch, Elena, waited.
She arrived in London, England.
Her book of magic was old; her blue eyes focused on the protests against the Russian Warlock's Conference in Moscow; her face was close to grimacing. For her the War of Darkness had had caused her parents immense pain. The dwarves, and the elves, were in the United Kingdom; the elves focused on their King, and Queen; the dwarves had had their own King, and Queen. And the battle lines were drawn up by the magicians.
And, as Elena focused on the dwarf Immigration Officer, she said: 'I am not an enemy of the British King, and Queen', she said.
The Officer stamped her passport, and let her inside the United Kingdom.

The co-vid 19 wards were full of people wearing masks.
Elena knew what it was like to be full of darkness because of the virus.
Globally, she knew what Russians did these days.
They were the enemy.
And, for her, as she headed towards the Castle of the Arcane, which was not too far away.
