"Hoy, ano nanaman 'yan ha, ba't nakatitig ka nanaman kay Jiro?" Nadia asked me.
"Anong nakatitig, tanga. Tinitignan ko yung mga tao sa labas baka kasi dumaan si Ethan." I lied.
Totoo namang tinititigan ko si Jiro, I mean, he's so perfect. He got that perfect snow skin, silky hair, his nose is so pointy and tall, his hands, his chinky eyes, and his height. Sa tantya ko he's 6'1. God he's so perfect.
"Asus, si Ethan nanaman e diba nga may gusto daw s'ya kay Gabrielle?" Tanong ulit ni Nadia saakin.
"Rumor lang 'yun, and guess what. He asked me to eat with him later." I smiled widely kasi may crush rin naman ako kay Ethan.
"If I were you, I won't go. I heard that he's dating Ella." She warned me.
"Girl, if he's dating Ella he won't ask me naman to join him for lunch diba?" I defended myself.
Ethan's nice kaya.
"Bahala ka, basta sinabihan na kita." She read her notes after saying that.
"Pre, 'yang si Louisse nalang oh. Maganda, matalino, matangkad, mayaman, tangina bro. Nasakanya na lahat." I heard someone whispered.
Jiro scoffed "Edi kayo pumatos, ikaw ata may type e." He laughed and looked at me.
I quickly looked away and pretending to read my notes.
"Okay class, go back to your proper seats everyone. Welcome back students, did you guys had fun during summer? I bet you guys did." Our professor entered our room and started the discussion.
The bell rang and i quickly prepared because I'm meeting Ethan. Yeepy!
"Lou ano? Habay tayo ha." Inaya ako ni Nadia but I already told her na I'm eating with Ethan.
"Edi sama ako, bakit date ba 'yon?" Inayos n'ya na ang gamit n'ya at hinawakan ang braso ko.
We went to the cafeteria and to my horror, I saw Ethan and Gabriella eating together. Their laughing and flirting.
"See?" Nadia told me.
"Let's go, kain nalang tayong dalawa." She patted my back and pulled me para kumuha ng food.
While we we're eating, Jiro approached us and placed his food on the table.
"Excuse me? I believe you're in the wrong table." I raised my eyebrows at him.
"Excuse me rin? I believe that I'm in the right table." He also raised his eyebrows trying to copy me. "By the way, hi Nadia." He greeted Nadia.
"Hi Jiro, bakit sa'min ka sasabay?" Tanong naman ni Nadia sakanya habang kumain ng burger.
"Wala lang, masama ba? Sige alis nalang ako." He's about to stand up and we did not stop him.
"Hindi talaga ako pinigilan oh." He sarcastically sat.
While eating Nadia's phone rang and she quickly answered it.
"Yes, okay okay. I'm on my way." She hang up the phone and turned to me.
"Lou we have a meeting sa students council, wait me here okay? Jiro." May sinenyas s'ya kay Jiro and then she lefted.
She lefted me with Jiro. While were eating peacefully, he suddenly talked.
"Louisse, right?" He asked me.
"Yes, and you're Jiro right?" I asked him back
"Yes."
"Section..?"
"C. 3rd Floor." Sabay ngiti, yang ngiting ganyan nakakaloka yan e.
"Ah- Ay ha? e anong ginawa n'yo sa 5th floor?." I asked him.
"Good question, uh, we uh. I uh."
"You're uh?" I copied him
"I want to see someone." He said
"Who's this someone?" I asked
He's sweating and I don't know why.
"Please don't tell this to anybody."
I nodded.
"You promise?" He asked staring at my soul.
"Jeez, yes nga." I rolled my eyes at him "Say it nalang kasi."
"Nadia, she's my crush since grade 4" He answered shyly.
"Tibay ah, grade 4 hanggang college?" I smiled.
Kung hindi may girlfriend, iba yung crush. Sa crush na nga lang ako bumabawi palpak pa.
"What do you like about Nadia?" I asked him.
"She's smart, kind, pretty, and she loves children." He explained while smiling. "How about you? Do you like someone?" He asked me that made me nervous.
"No, i don't." MERON!
Nadia came back immediately and sat beside me.
"Seems like you guys are getting along huh, oh shoot five minutes nalang." She ate her food food quickly and drank her juice.
"Hey slow down." Jiro warned her.
She didn't listen to him and just nodded.
"Let's go na Lou, baka malate nanaman tayo." She stood up and grabbed her things.
"Thanks for joining us Jiro. See you around." She waved at Jiro and he just smiled.
Gosh, so this girl was not aware that my crush likes her?
7pm na natapos ang klase namin.
"Nadia, mom wants us to visit our house. Do'n na tayo mag dinner." I informed her.
"Ah, Lou I can't go with you tonight. I have to go somewhere e, let's meet nalang sa condo later. Bye babe mwa" She sent me a flying kiss and started her engene.
As soon as she's gone Jiro suddenly appeared beside me panting.
"Shit, 'di ko s'ya naabutan." He said while catching some air. "Sa'n daw punta n'ya?" He asked me.
"I don't know, i have to go bye." I lefted him and drove the car para umuwi sa bahay.
I parked my car outside and entered the house. I heard dad's voice, and he sounds mad.
"For God's sake Troy! Wala ka nang nabigay sa pamilyang 'to kung hindi kapalpakan! First day of School lasing ka!?" I saw how he shouted at kuya, at mukhang walang pakealam dito si kuya Troy.
"Honey, please calm down." Mommy said while rubbing dad's arm.
"How can i calm down Isabelle!? Your son is drunk! At first day palang sa school ngayon araw!" He shoved mom's hands and he's about to slap kuya.
"Dad! What's happening here?! What do you think your doing?!" I covered kuya and faced my dad.
"Aurellia wag kang makikialam dito, move!" He tried to push me aside but i stopped him.
"Mommy do something! You invited me for this!?" I shouted.
"Dear please calm down, let's just go upstairs." My mom pulled dad away from us.
"No-" My mom cutted my dad's words
"Anthony! I said stop it already!" My mom shouted that made my dad stop.
He glared at us and marched upstairs. I turned to kuya who seems crying.
"Kuya, kuya are you okay? Sinaktan ka ba n'ya? Anong nangyari? Tell me." I cupped his face and saw some mound on his face.
He just hugged me and cried.
I hugged him back while rubbing his back
"Louisse I can't take this anymore, I want to leave this hell " He told me crying
My eyes heated because of what he said, him and dad never had a good relationship with each other. When we were young dad used to beat kuya because of some stupid things, like when kuya got an eighty on his card. Ever since we were little he's been pressuring us. Awang awa ako kay kuya pero ano pa nga bang kaya kong gawin? Ako ang bunso.
"I know kuya, shh" I hugged him tight while we were both crying.
Umuwi nalang ako dahil mukha namang wala akong mapapala dito, umuwi na rin si kuya sa condo n'ya dahil baka lumala pa ang mga bagay bagay.
Bago ako umuwi, pumunta muna ako sa Café malapit sa condo ko.
I ordered cookies and Iced coffee.
I sat there and think about life.
"Wow sitting pretty yung isa d'yan oh"
I heard someone beside me and i turned to look at them.
"Oh Jiro, what are you doing here?" I asked him, was he following me?
He sighed and looked at the view "Papahangin lang, nakakasakal e. Ikaw?" He sat down infront of me
"Hey I don't remember inviting you to seat with me." I raised my eyebrow and looked at him.
"Dun rin naman papunta 'yon." He looked at me and smiled.
"Same reason." I answered.
"Huh?"
"Nakakasakal rin, I came here to relax but you ruined it." I sarcastically said
"Sorry naman madam." He apologize and about to leave.
"Hey I'm just kidding what the hell?" I stopped him.
"Ayaw din pala akong umalis e." He teasingly smiled and sat back down.
"I need someone's company." I explained
"Business Woman ka pala, ang galing." He sipped on his coffee
"What?"
Ano daw?
"Sabi mo you need someone's company edi business woman ka." He said.
I swear to God, this man.
I bit my lips trying not to smile at his joke. I mean its not even that funny!
"Uy tatawa na s'ya." He teased me and I laughed
I stopped laughing when I realized that I laughed at his joke.
"You're not that funny." I looked away and sipped on my coffee
"E ba't tumawa ka?" He asked teasingly.
"Of course you're making me laugh by saying "uy tatawa na s'ya" " I copied him that makes him smile. "You're the one who's laughing." I rolled my eyes and looked at the view outside
"Ediwow"
He whispered but I can still hear him.
"Okay, I got to go. Thanks for having a conversation with me tonight, i appreciate it." I stood up and so is he.
"Welcome, friends na tayo ha." He offered his hands.
"Okay." I reached his hands and we shaked hands.
"Bye, ingat!" He waved at me before I got to leave.
While driving I remembered what happened earlier.
We had a conversation, again!
As soon as i entered our condo, my phone rang and mom's name appeared.
I answered it but I didn't talk
"Anak, I'm sorry about earlier. Mainit ang ulo ng daddy mo kaya n'ya nagawa 'yon, tapos hindi pa namin-"
"Ma bakit ba ikaw ang nag-eexplain? Diba dapat po si daddy ang nag e-explain nito sa'kin, have you seen kuya's face? Puro sugat at pasa mommy, kung stress s'ya sa trabaho n'ya wag nya sanang binubuntong kay kuya." I cutted her words because of frustration.
"Louisse hindi mo alam ang nangyari kaya wag mo 'kong mapagsalitaan ng ganyan!" I heard dad's voice
"Then explain it to me dad! You know what!? This is why we moved out in a very young age! Lagi ka nalang galit! Laging mainit ang ulo! Lagi mong pinagbubuntungan ng galit si kuya! Bakit ba?! Ano bang nagawa ni kuya at ganon ganon nalang ang galit n'yo sakanya?!" I sob as a say those words.
"You know nothing Louisse, ikaw at ang kuya mo. Wala kayong alam! And this not the right time to tell you both what's going on!" He shouted on the other line and ended the phone
I dropped my phone and sobbed, i felt my knees getting softer and softer. As a closed the door i screamed at the top of my lungs. Why?! Bakit kaylangan maging ganto ang buhay ko?!
Binato ko lahat ng mga bagay na nakikita ko, cups, vase, my bag, my laptop, everything. I cried and cried the whole night, until Nadia opened the door.
"Gosh Louisse! What are you doing?! Are you okay?! Bakit anong nangyayari?!" She grabbed me at pina-upo ako sa sofa.
She just hugged me.
"Nag-away nanaman ba kayo ni tito? Let it out." She tighten the hug between us and stroke my hair.
I cried for hours. Until i fell asleep in Nadia's arms.
Nagising nalang ako dahil sa amoy ng pagkain. I stood up and washed my face, i drank some water.
"Ano ba kasi nangyari kagabi?" Nadia asked me while were eating
"Binugbog nanaman ni daddy si kuya, I'm not even sure if I should call him dad." I answered while chewing my food.
"Ano daw ginawa ni Troy?" She asked with concern.
"He drank before dinner, what did he expect? Na pumasok si kuya na parang walang nangyari after he embarrassed kuya sa harap ng maraming tao last week?" I explained to her.
"May point ka." She pointed me while chewing her food.
"But, let's change the topic I don't want to get stuck from what happened last night." I told her while i rolled my eyes playfully
"What? What happened?" She asked.
"Well, last night when i was chilling in the café malapit sa gym, Jiro came out in nowhere! And then we talked! He made me smile." I smiled shyly while telling her the story about last night.
"No way, Lou I'm telling you this right now. You should confess your feelings about him!" She smiled with excitement
I suddenly remembered what Jiro told me, he likes Nadia.
"Wag muna siguro, hindi naman kasi masyadong close." I looked away and drank some water.
"Girl, you've been crushing on him for like 1 year already. Kung hindi ka aamin, ako ang aamin para sa'yo." She teasingly smiled at me while wiggling her eyebrows.
"There's no way you would do that."
"Yes way." She laughed and continue eating. "By the way, may pa-house party si Yna mamaya ah, wanna come?" She asked me.
"Of course, kelan ba ako umayaw?" I smirked and stood up to get ready. Pupunta muna ako sa Fisher Mall, dahil ngayon dadating si Coco! My dog! Birthday present s'ya ni kuya sa'kin last week, galing pa 'tong Korea kaya medyo na move ang pagkuha namin sakanya.
I just wore a knitted top and a mini skirt.
"Nads alis lang ako ha, kukunin ko na today si Coco e." I told her while packing my bag.
"Okay, ingat!" She waved at me before I closed the door.
Sumakay na ako sa elevator and I put lipstick on my lips pero very slight lang.
"Wait! Wait!" The elevator was about to close when i heard someone so i pushed the open button.
I saw a tall man with a green eyes who's panting and his shirt was kinda messy.
"Oh thank God, thank you for not leaving me." He said.
"Oh no biggy." I shortly replied.
We're on 28th floor kaya mataas ang building na ito, kung hindi ko siguro nasara ang open button baka mawalan na s'ya ng hininga.
The elevator stopped on the 20th floor and 2 guys stepped in. I can feel the one guy getting closer and closer on me that's why i keep moving around, I'm now in the corner and he's beside me. I felt his hands touching my waist that made me flinched and I started to feel uncomfortable, I stepped again but he keeps touching me.
The elevator stopped again and a bunch or people walked in so we need to move. I moved closer on the buttons but this creep keeps moving closer to me, again! I started feeling something rubbing my hips and I can feel something hard that made me feel conscious and nervous, my eyes heated as I felt my tears forming in my eyes. Luckily the elevator stopped again in the 8th floor and I moved closer to guy that has green eyes. The creep followed me but the man beside me stepped in between us, he grabbed his collar and pinned him on the wall.
"What the fuck are you doing huh? Sa tingin mo hindi kita nakikita? Kanina ka pa ah, tangina gusto mo putulin ko yang alaga mo? Tarantado ka ah." He said while pushing the creep on the wall.
"B-boss anong s-sinasabi n'yo? Wala naman akong ginagawa ah." He struggled talking because of the man's grip on his collar.
"Anong wala? Gago ka ba? Kitang kita kong minamanyak mo yung babae." He suddenly punched the guy that shocked me.
"O-oh my God!" I pulled the guy and held his arms.
"Ulitin mo yang ginagawa mo ha! Wala ka bang nanay?!" The guy furiously asked the creep while pointing at him.
The creep stood up pushed the open button to left elevator. As soon as he lefted the man turned to me and started asking questions.
"Are you okay miss? Ano, hinawakan ka ba nung gagong 'yon?" He asked me.
"Yes, pero it's fine tapos na naman na e." I answered while smiling.
"Anong it's fine? Hindi fine 'yon, he touched you without your consent. Kanina ko pa s'ya napapansin e and i was about to confront him pero biglan dumami yung tao e." He looked worried and pissed at the same time.
"Thanks for saving me, I owe you." I smiled "Do want some coffee? I can treat you naman." I offered as a thank you gift na rin.
"Oh sure, but you don't have to i mean-"
"Please, pumayag ka na hindi ako makakatulog kung hindi ka papayag so please let me treat you." I made a puppy eyes on him that made him laugh.
"Fine, because you insist I'll go with you." He smiled.
"Okay! But I need to pick up my dog pa e, can you wait?" I asked him because pupunta nga pala ako sa fisher mall today.
"I can come with you, I like dogs." He smiled effortless as the elevator opened and we walked together.
"Dadalhin mo ba yung car mo or sabay ka na sa'kin?" I asked him as I approach my car.
"No, sumabay ka nalang sa'kin. Sayang gas." He offered.
Sabagay, sayang nga naman yung gas.
"Pero can I ask you something? What's your name?" I asked him before following him.
"Theo, Theo Daveron you can call me Theo or Dave." He opened the shotgun seat for me. "How about you?" He asked smiling.
"Aurellia Louisse, I prefer for you to call me Lou." I smiled back at him and entered his car.
I know that I shouldn't be riding someone's car, but he's nice and i feel comfortable with him.
"So saan tayo?" He asked me but his eyes were still focused on the road.
"Fisher Mall" I shortly reply while searching something on my phone.
I need some accessories for my Coco, like bed, collar, and everything. Meron naman sigurong petshop ro'n.
The car filled with silence and none of us wants to say a word and it's getting awkward lol.
"Patugtog ka, if you want." He said breaking the silence.
"Oh, okay." I connected my phone on the Bluetooth in his car and started playing "All Too Well" By Taylor Swift.
"So you're a swiftie, huh?" He asked because of the music I chose
"Yeah, I love her." I looked at him smiling.
"I love her too, what's your favorite song?" He asked me smiling too
"Hmm, "Style" how about you?" I asked him.
"I love all of her songs but my favorite song is "Red" " He answered while parking the car.
Oh, dito na pala kami hihi.
I got off his car and fixed my outfit.
"C'mon follow me!" I grabbed his arms and entered the mall
I was so excited to finally meet my dog! I've waited 1 week for this!
"Woah, slow down baka naman mabali braso ko." He laugh. "Mukha kang batang ngayon palang nakapunta sa mall." He laugh again and i just ignored him.
Nasa second floor daw yung seller nung dog and excited na daw si Coco to meet his mom!
Coco's breed is Conton de Tulear dog, I've been a dog like that when I was 7 years old but dad never let us get a pet.
Kahit malayo palang nakita ko na agad yung dog cage and I ran to approach it. Theo followed me and when we reached the dog napa-upo nalang si Theo sa pagod.
"Hi baby!" I greeted my dog and the seller opened the cage and picked her up. She handed me the dog and the dog licked my face countless times.
"Aww, she likes you." The seller smiled and patted the dog.
We had a little chat about the dog and she said that Coco hates hot places.
After that she lefted na and Theo and I roamed around the mall para maghanap ng petshop.
"Are you tired na? We can eat naman muna then punta na tayo sa petshop." I stopped because he looks exhausted.
"No I'm fine, tsaka coffee lang diba." He tried to hide his tired face and smiled.
Siningkitan ko s'ya ng mata and dragged him to the nearest restaurant.
"Girl we've been roaming around the mall, imposibleng hindi ka napapagod." I ordered and let him find a chair for us.
While playing with Coco dahil mahaba pa naman yung pila Theo suddenly called me and pointed the table he found, I gave him a thumbs up and he sat on the chair na.
I ordered two solo meal for us, and two ice cream.
Pumunta na ako sa table na tinuro n'ya kanina at nilagay ko muna yung collar na binigay nung seller kanina kay Coco as a gift.
"Wait lang, I need to go to the restroom, please pakibantayan si Coco." I smiled at him and made my way to the restroom.
After washing my hands I left the restroom and spotted Theo playing with Coco, and he's laughing.
"Looks like she likes you, huh?" I sat down and grabbed Coco. "Nag-cr lang ako pinagpalit mo na agad ako?" I faked crying while hugging Coco and Theo just laughed.
Pagtapos namin kumain ay dumiretsyo na kami sa petshop for Coco's accessories.
I bought some dogfood, toys, treats, and a collar that written Coco's name.
Theo drove me back to my condo and he said that he needs to leave. He thanked for today and I thanked him also.
Pumasok na ako sa elevator and luckily mga babae na ang mga nakasakay rito.
I opened our condo when i noticed an unfamiliar shoes inside. This not mine, nor Nadia's.
I heard laughing and talking in the leaving room and saw Nadia, with Jiro. Oh he's here?
"Oh hi Lou, glad you're home. Join us-" She stopped talking when she saw the dog I was holding. "Coco meet auntie Nadia." I waved Coco's hands at them and Nadia approached us.
"Hi lovelove! Aww you're so cute." I handed her my dog and she swayed it around. "Hey! Kawawa yung anak ko!" I shouted and hitted her playfully.
I saw Jiro starring at us.
"Hi Jiro, I didn't know you were coming." I smiled and greeted him.
He smiled back and waved at me. Oh my heart!
"Yeah, pupunta dapat kasi talaga ako sa unit ng kaybigan ko pero mukhang walang tao e kaya dito nalang ako dumaan." He explained.
"Oh i see." I turned to Nadia who's playing with Coco. "Hoy, akin na 'yan mag-aayos na ako ng mga gamit ng anak ko." She handed me Coco and kissed her foot.
"If you guys need anything, na sa kwarto lang ako." I told them and headed to my room.
I put Coco down and started preparing her things, I got her a pink circle bed and a pink bowl, I also got her some toys to play with and some treats when i want to teach her some tricks. Need ko pa pala bumili ng box for her dogfood.
After I finished assembling her things, lumabas ako para maglinis ng kitchen because si Nadia ang nagluto kaninang umaga kaya ako nalang ang maglilinis, and need ko rin magbasa ng notes for monday, para walwal nalang mamaya.
While wiping the counter Nadia got some water from the fridge and approached me.
"Saan ka galing? Ba't ang tagal mo? Akala ko 'di ka na uuwi e." She asked me while pouring some water on her glass.
"Kwento ko sayo mamaya, dun ka na walang kasama si Jiro." I told her smiling.
"Edi samahan mo." She laughed and pushed me playfully.
"Eto panggulo ka dun ka nga." I pushed her back and she left the kitchen.
After cleaning the kitchen, I headed to my room started reading my notes but I can't concentrate. Lumabas ako at pumunta sa kusina para do'n nalang mag-aral since hindi pwede sa living room dahil nando'n pa si Jiro.
"Hoy, alam ko kung pa'no magtimpla ng kape 'no, barista yung pinsan ko kaya sakanya ako nakakakuha ng mga moves." I heard Jiro bragging his "Barista Moves" to Nadia.
"'Ge nga gawa ka nga." Nadia challenged him.
"Samahan mo'ko tara." Jiro stood up and starts approaching the kitchen
Our eyes met and he smiled at me, I can feel my cheeks turning red so i just focused on my studies.
"Ikaw nalang, malaki ka na tinatamad ako." Nadia shouted and laughed.
Jiro sighed and started making some coffe for the both of them.

After minutes of making some coffe, Jiro placed an iced coffee infront of me that made me looked at him.
He just smiled at me left me stunned there.
As I grabbed the coffee I noticed a sticky note from the back
"Study Well po!:)"
I felt my cheeks heated and I can't help but smile. He made me a coffee!
