"Erulisse They're here!"
My sister-in-law, Iloise, ran into my room.
We both smile and run down the hall.
I shove open the doors to the lunge, "Nerdanel, Feanor, The boys are home!"
Feanor helps Nerdanel to her feet, "See mother, our sons have returned. You need not worry anymore."
Nerdanel and Feanor walk hand-in-hand to greet the oncoming riders.
Iloise is swept off her feet by Maglor.
I smile when I see a tall, blonde, elf slide off his horse.
" I missed you so much!" I throw my arms around his neck.
"I missed you too." Celegorm kisses me.
Maglor and Iloise stand kissing a few feet away.
I roll my eyes, "Newlyweds."
Celegorm gives me a side glance, "Oh, there was a time you used to let me kiss you like that."
He leans down but I step back, "Not in front of everyone."
He steps and closes the gap between us. I let his lips slip onto mine and I don't shove him off.
He wraps his long arms around my waist. I'm glad because my knees feel as if they will collapse. When we part I gasp for air. We turn to greet the rest of the men and I notice that Maglor and Iloise have vanished.
Celegorm smirks and then winks at me.
I blush and elbow him, "Behave."
The group migrates toward the grand house but Celegorm's hand slips around my waist.
"Will My lady join me for a walk?" He bows and kisses my hand. I nod happily.
He leads me through the treeline and into the woods.
I put one hand under my slightly expanded stomach, "I have to figure out how to tell him about you." I think to myself. I smile, I was going to have a baby. We walk along under the blossoming trees.
"How was the hunt," I ask.
"Good. We were successful and only had a few run-ins." He squeezes my hand. "Did anything happen here?"
I almost nod, "No, all was peaceful."
I trip slightly, "Oops."
My husband chuckles, "Having trouble walking? If you're not I'm sure I can arrange for it."
I slap him, "Celegorm!"
He chuckles, "I missed teasing you. The hunt was so lonely."
"Well, You're home now," I whisper.
Celegorm and I reach our special place by the river. We met on this very river bank.
"Well, this is nice. We finally have our privacy." He sighs against my neck.
I nod. He runs his hands down from my shoulder to my hips and settles there.
His thumbs are on my stomach. I start to feel the heat rise in my body from my nervousness.
"Celegorm, something did happen while you were gone." The anxiety is creeping through me.
"What darling, what happened?" He asks with worry.
I stare at the ground.
"Did one of my idiot brothers do something? I will slaughter them if they did."
"U, it's not that." I exhale.
"What is it, Clearly it bothers you."
"You're going to be a father."
His gaze is frozen on me, "I'm sorry, what did you say?"
"Celegorm, I'm with child. We're going to be parents."
He is still frozen.
"I'm pregnant!" I laugh.
His gaze goes from frozen to pure joy in two seconds.
"We're having a baby?" He asks with disbelief.
I nod slowly.
He hugs me and twirls us around.
"Hey, careful!" I say as he set's me down.
He sucks in air sharply, "Sorry, I got carried away."
I place his hands on my stomach and he presses his face to my middle.
"How? I was gone for two months."
"Remember the night before you left?"
He laughs, "One does not forget such events."
"We kind of lost control."
"The best thing I ever made."
I slap him, "Hey, That's not very Lordly of you."
"I can't keep myself together around you."
I grab his hand, "Come, let us tell your parents about their first grandchild."
