*Your P.O.V*
We just sung happy birthday and had some cake, it was delicious. I was sitting on the couch with my dad when there was a knock on the door, he checked who it was and opened it. "Officer Gordinski." "Are you armed?" "What?" "Do you have a weapon on you?" "No." My dad told the man, "You're under arrest." "What??" "Gordinski-," Aunt Sarah said. The police officer handcuffed dad, "Daddy!" I yelled trying to run to him but Aunt Desirée held me back, "It's okay, he's okay" she said, attempting to give me comfort. Aunt Sarah followed my dad to the station, I was crying.
*Ten minutes later*
"I want my daddy" 🥺 "I know sweetie" grandma told me. "You need to get ready for bed" I layed in bed for an hour but I just couldn't sleep.
*Derek's P.O.V*
I can't believe that just happened, I mean— I can because it's Gordinski. But, in front of my family— including my daughter... Y/N's probably scared out of her mind. I call Hotch to bring the team. They prove me to be not guilty and Carl Buford is behind bars. I went back to my mom's house, "Daddy!" Y/N cheered, running into my arms, "Hey Princess" I smiled at her. "I missed you daddy" "I missed you too nugget" a couple hours later, Y/N was asleep, I was thinking about how I got here, the effect that Carl Buford had on my life. I believe that Y/N is too young to know about what happened between Buford and myself. But, I don't want her to ever be in the position I was in. . . A couple days later we were back in Virginia, I really didn't want to tell Y/N, it's best that she knows... how do I tell her? "Y/N/N, i have so me thing very important to tell you... when I was a teen there was this man, Carl Buford, he was my football coach and everybody loved him. I used to look up to him. But, he did very bad things to me and other boys, even when we didn't want to. He would do bad touches, it went on for a long time..." "And what did you do?" She asked innocently, "Nothing. Until last week, nobody knew. Now, Carl is in prison. I want you to promise me, if anybody touches you inappropriately, you will tell me." "I promise" she reached out her little pinky and I wrapped mine around her's. "I love you baby girl" "I love you to daddy" 😊
