Chapter 25: "Cheer For Me"

It's been a few days, and I have been teaching Ace basically every day, and he got way better. I'm sure he's going to Ace that test.
"Wake up" I felt someone shake me.
I opened my eyes with a groan and looked at the person who keeps shaking me to wake me up.
It's Ace.
'Ass'
"Get up already," he said as he pulled the covers off of me.
'I'm wearing a top and shorts'
'He can't see me like this.'
'I'm nervous'
I gasped and pulled the covers on me quickly.
"Get up Lilly. I'm not playing with you,"
"I'm in a top and some shorts, turn away,"
"I already saw you in them a minimum 100 times, Lilly," Ace said.
'Well that it true'
'Why did I get so nervous now and not before?'
"What time is it? ," I said.
"6:30, now get" Ace said as he tried to pull the covers, but my grip was tight. "Up" he continued his sentence when he removed the covers away from me.
"It's too early, Ace. Let me go back to sleep," I said.
"Today is my exam get. Up." Ace said.
"It's your exam, not mine" I turned so now I'm laying on my stomach.
"You know what, fine, go back to sleep,"
"thank you. " I closed my eyes trying to sleep.
In a quick way, I felt an arm on my waist, turning me so that I'm laying on my back, then I was thrown over Ace's shoulder.
"Come on, leave me alone,"
"I'm stressed, and you are going to be stressed with me,"
"you'll ace that exam, you don't have anything to worry about," I said and patted his back, which was still in front of my face.
"Can you put me down, now?" I asked.
"I like it like this," ace said as he walked to my bedroom door.
"What is there to like?"
"Thighs,"
"you little shit," I said and smacked his back.
He just laughed as he continued walking downstairs.
"What if we fall? ," I asked.
"We won't,"
"but what if? ,"
"you'll fall easy," Ace said.
'He must be fucking with me'
Finally, we reached the kitchen, and we didn't fall on the stairs, yay us.
We ate fast since Ace wanted to review the notes before heading for the exam.
"Get dressed as fast as you can, so we can review,," Ace said as he reviewed from his book.
I went to change, and we reviewed as much as we can.
Then we grabbed our bags, and we went to Ace's car.
"Okay I'm going to do a little trivia questions about the subject, and you have to answer to every wrong answer. Ill hit the back of your head, okay? Okay," I said and didn't even wait for him to answer.
After some questions and a few hits on his head, he got some of them right, and I made sure that he gets every single thing right.
"You better Ace that exam, or you will see my rage. I'll end you, Alexander,"
"I'll get a good grade. I hope so," Ace said.
"You better. I worked hard for that," I said.
Soon we arrived at school, and we separated to go to our lockers, and it didn't help that his exam was the first period, so he got me panicking with him.
'I know he'll pass. He worked hard'
'my favorite student'
'not my just student'
'Yeah okay. '
I grabbed my books and went to the first class, praying that Ace will do great at his exam.
As first period passed, my stress became worse since I was not in the same class as Ace and I couldn't judge his facial expression.
In the second class that I have with Ace, he came into the classroom looking stressed out.
'Oh no'
"You do, you look stressed? Did you do good? How was the exam?" I asked him.
"Woah chill, it's normal to stress in an exam Lilly and yes, I did pretty good since the exam was easy," Ace said and that brought joy to my heart.
'My pain from tutoring him should pay off'
"When are you getting the result?"
"I don't know, I guess, before lunch?" Ace said.
The class started and, like always, Ace annoyed me all period, then he annoyed me the next period. Also finally it was lunchtime.
'I am starving'
I went directly to the cafeteria, brought lunch and sat down, so I can eat.
"Damn you must be hungry," Ayla said.
"Yeah I am,"
"I heard Ace's exam was today, right?" Ella said.
"Yeah it is. I'm very stressed. "
"Oh here he comes. oh, no, he looks sad,"
I looked behind me and saw Ace coming with a sad expression on his face.
'oh no'
"Hey Ace, how did you do?" Ella asked
"She just gave me my grade," Ace said.
"Well what is the grade?" I asked him.
"I don't know how to say this," Ace said, putting his face in his hands.
"If you scored badly, I'll end you," I said, glaring at him.
"I scored ninety-nine over hundred," Ace said, smirking as he put his elbow on my shoulder.
"You had me panicking here," I said to him.
"I love making you panic, it's funny," Ace said and started eating.
"Here's our smarty," Brandon and Flynn said as they sat down.
"Well since you passed this exam, we have to practice since the game is in like two or three days," Cameron said.
"Alright" Ace said.
"You have to come," Flynn said to me.
"Me?" I asked.
"Yeah, you," Flynn responded.
"Sure I'll come,"
"cheer for me," Ace said with a wink.
"That's the last thing I'll do. "
I was in the last class of the day, and it was minutes away from the sweet loving bell to ring when I got a message.

"So like girls hang out?"
"Yes exactly," I said, and he nodded and got on his phone.
After a few seconds, he looked back at me.
"So no boys at all?" he asked.
"No boys, only us girls. " He nodded and went back to typing on his phone.
'Weird'

As I was typing, I made sure to be sneaky, so Ace didn't see the chat.
I was panicking, thinking he could see the messages.
"So where are you going?" Ace said as he put his phone on the table facing down.
"Nothing much carnival and to a restaurant,"
"who are you going with?"
"I just told you,"
"I just need to make sure you're safe," Ace said as he turned to me.
"We are, don't worry. I'm going with Ayla and Ella," I said with a smile.
RING BITCHES RING
I packed my things and stood at my locker.
As I waited for Ayla and Ella, I texted my mom to make sure she's okay with me going out.

and Ella to the carnival

"alright did you all ask your parents?" Ayla asked.
"I just did," I said
"I did, and they agreed," Ella said.
"alright let's go party," Ayla said as she did a little dance as we walked to the exit doors of the school.
on our way to the exit doors, Ace, Flynn, Brandon and Cameron stopped us.
"why are you dancing?" Brandon asked Ayla.
"did you just say a party?" Cameron asked Ayla.
"congrats you have good hearing," Ella said and clapped.
"we got to go. bye, guys," I said as I grabbed Ella and Ayla and started to walk, but the boys stepped in front of us, blocking the way.
"who are you going with?" Cameron asked.
"just us girls," Ayla said.
"always update me on what you are doing?" Brandon said, looking at Ella.
"why?" Ella asked.
"we have practice. We will be on our nerves thinking about you, all," Brandon said.
"still... why?" Ella asked.
"just update us at least one of us every now and then," Brandon said, looking at Ella, Ayla and I.
"sure thing," I said as I patted Brandon on his shoulder and moved him away from us.
we started walking to the school doors as they shouted for us to text them.
"what has gone into them?" Ayla asked.
"I don't know" Ella said.
"anyway who cares? let's go already," I said, pulling them to go to Ayla's car.
Ayla dropped Ella and I to our houses and she went to hers to freshen up and dress different from she came to pick us up again.
Since Ella's house is on the way before mine, she got to sit in the front, sad.
"are you going to text the boys about our hang out?" I asked Ayla and Ella.
"I guess" Ayla said.
"why?" Ella said.
"I promised Cameron and I never break my promise. "
"why did you promise him?" I asked.
"he got really close to me and I panicked. You know me when I panic. "
"we do,"
"we do," Ella and I said at the same time.
"but when did that happen? we were with you basically the whole time," Ella asked.
"when I finished the last period, and I was walking to my locker, he comes and pulls me to the janitor's room," Ayla said.
"And?" Ella asked.
Ayla explained the rest of the story as we reached the carnival.
"Alright, girls. let's roll," I said as I got out of the car.
we went inside the carnival and looked around to decide which rides we want to go on first. As I was looking, I find three good-looking guys staring at us up and down.
'I hate men'
"do you guys see them?" I asked Ayla and Ella.
"see who?" Ella asked. I turned my body to her so they were behind me.
"those guys behind me staring at us," I said.
Ella looked behind me, then looked back at me.
"I see them,"
"are they still looking?" I asked.
"yeah they are," Ayla said as she looked behind me.
"well just ignore them as if they don't exist," Ella said.
"Already on it," I said.
"same" Ayla said.
"so which ride should we go on first? " I asked.
LATER
we were walking around trying to find something to eat.
"let's just go grab a burger or something," Ayla said.
"I don't mind; I am so hungry," I said.
"here's a restaurant," Ella said as she started walking to the restaurant.
we go in and we ordered what we want then we found a table next to the window and sat down waiting for our order.
I got heard my phone ring, so I pick it up and checked it. I found 56 missed calls from Ace, 20 from Cameron, and 30 from Brandon.

I looked up from my phone as I noticed that also Ella and Ayla looked up from their phones to look behind me. When I turned I found Ace, Brandon, Cameron and Flynn standing there.
"why didn't you text us?" Brandon asked.
"We were worried about you. We thought something happened to you," Cameron said.
"are you okay?" Ace said as he came closer to me, checking my face and body to see if I am hurt or not.
"don't worry, we are completely fine," I said as I held Ace's hands that were on my face.
"yeah we just didn't text you because we didn't pay attention to our phones all day long," Ella said to Brandon, who sat next to her.
"did you order?" Cameron said as he sat next to Ayla, who was playing with her fingers, meaning she's nervous.
'oh her promise'
"yeah, we did," I said.
"we'll go order too,"
"who said we want you to stay?"
"we did," they all said as they got up to order.
