Just as she feared, they've been gone more then they have expected, a month.
But Norie was happy with the visits every Saturday but she felt sad that Levi couldn't go, and he felt disappointed but they would have to pull through.
Norie had visited Jiro yesterday and was now back in the Forest, it was night time and she had to look over Zeke as Levi had to receive some messages back from the walls, but he'll be checking on her just in case.
"Are you sure you got it?"Levi says as they walk up to Zeke.
"I put up with you everyday, I think I can handle it"she said jokingly.
"Your princess can handle herself you overprotective baby"Zeke says with a smirk.
Levi was about to go forward but Norie stops him.
"Unfortunately Alive please"she says.
"Tch"he only says.
He turns around to walk to the two scouts that had gotten back from the walls with messages.
Norie sat on the log as and then crossed her arms and legs and stared at the fire in front of her.
Zeke sighs and he looks at Norie, he studied her face and it's the same expressionless facade as her husband.
"You know... staring is weird and really annoying to me"Norie said as she didn't take her eyes off the fire.
Zeke scoffs and says "you're just like him... your little husband"
She shifts her gaze to him and says "okay?"
"I'm trying to talk and it just seems like it annoys the both of you-It does, so shut up"Norie cuts him off.
"But he's staring at me"
"Who?"norie said annoyed.
"Him"
Norie turns around to look at Levi but he doesn't glance at her once, keeping his intense glare at Zeke.
"It's kinda...making me...uneasy"Zeke says.
Norie turns back to the fire and taps her finger on her arm.
Zeke glares at her then tries to go back to the book he's been reading and he sighs again.
"Stop sighing"Norie says.
"Well, don't blame me. I've been reading the same book for the pass month! 7 times! I need something new!"he yells annoyed.
"Read it upside down"she only says.
Zeke growls anger and throws the book down.
Levi doesn't take her eyes off as the two comrades walk up to him.
"Uh captain?"
"What"
"We were supposed to keep watch on the east, why are we getting switched to North?"
"I'm keeping watch on my spot"
They turn to look at where Levi was and they saw Zeke and Norie.
"Why would you-Shut up"Levi cuts him off.
They got scared of his glare and they ran back.
"Captain!"
"Hm"he says and looks at the comrade.
"Can we drink a bit more wine?"
"No"
"Please! It's only gonna be a sip! We can ask for Captain Norie's approval also!"
"No need"
"So we can?"
Levi rolled his eyes and said "if I find any of you drunk I will end you"
Back with Norie and Zeke, he hasn't taken his eyes of her.
"Can we talk?"
"No"
"I'm just trying to be civilian and reasonable here! I don't want to have a bad bone of yours jabbing me! Can we just have a conversation?!"
"Look, I'm flattered but I really don't want too. And the reason I am annoyed is because instead of me and Levi being at home taking care of our 9 month old son, I'm here taking care of a 40 year old man who turns into a big ass monkey who is also trying to eat me like an entrée"she states.
Zeke laughs making her confused.
"We all know...that you're worried about him..."
Norie raises an eyebrow.
"Eren..."Zeke says making her understand.
"We're not allowed to talk about this"Norie quickly says.
"Really? Because...theirs always allows...when no one's around..."
Norie shakes her head and goes back to reading her book and Zeke says " Eren is not the same...he won't listen to you or anyone else...he is as messed up as you were Underground-"
Norie cuts him off and stood up, using her gear to jump over the fire and held a dagger to his throat and harshly gripped the back of his hair.
"Shut the hell up"she growled.
"Norie, has much as I want to kill him myself, get off him"Norie heard Levi said from a couple feet behind her.
"How did you know I was from the underground?"Norie says.
"I do have conversations with these scouts from time to time"
"But speaking about sons..."Zeke says as he placed his hand into his pocket.
"Your little Jiro hasn't shown signs of... control?"
"Don't talk about my son, don't even think about laying a finger on him because I will make sure I slice you up to bits"Norie said angrily.
"Well I need alternatives Captain, I mean just say to leave him alone and I'll put my focus all to you"Zeke whispered.
"I told you, you useless shit, leave my son alone"Norie says.
Zeke laughed again making her confused and said "what?" Harshly.
"I'm giving you what you want, but I'll come back for you"he says
Her eyes widened as she saw the small black tube pull out of his pocket in his jacket and he shot it.
Her breath hitched as her eyes widened, to shocked to scream or talk, Norie let's go of Zeke as he stood up.
The one bullet went all the way inside her abdomen and the bullet turned into a ball and it's spikes came out poking through every part of her insides and two spikes came out of her skin looking like two piercings.
"I'll have you drained out and I'll take that ball out of you and drink every drop of your blood"
Norie breathed heavily as he whispered "and I will get your abilities Norie..."
Levi turned to see Zeke running away as Norie stood their, her back facing him.
"Norie?"Levi called out.
Once she slowly turned around Levi's eyes widened when he saw Norie holding her bleeding stomach and saw the two of the 20 spikes sticking out.
The blood sweeped through her shirt and fingers as she stared at Levi with a scared expression.
"Levi?"She whispered but he heard her clearly.
"Norie!-"Levi's yell was cut off by the scouts in the trees falling and a bright yellow light and big gush of wind engulfed them.
Norie covered her eyes with her arm and then her eyes widened when she saw Titans falling from the sky.
"Norie!"Levi said and used his gear to zip towards her, he grabs her and then flew them up to avoid the Titans under them.
"Are you okay?"he asks looking at her wound.
"I-i'll be fine..."she whimpers out in pain.
Then Norie looked down and stared in shock as she asks "how? What...how did-Zeke...he put something in the wine..."he cuts her off.
Wine?, But then she remembered the wine the cadet told them they could bring.
"Wine?"
Levi says as Norie and him stand in front of the box that was filled with the alcohol in the wagon.
"What do we need alcohol for? We're on a mission"
Norie says as Levi picked up a bottle making the scouts behind them gasp, afraid he'll break it in annoyance.
"But Captains! This is rare Marleyan wine that only the boys in the Military Police get to drink!"
"You gotta let us have a little fun!"
Norie and Levi looked at each other and they both say at the same time "but that's what teas for"
"Captains!"
"Okay! Okay! I'm okay with it, if Captain Levi is okay with it"
Norie says.
The scouts looked at Levi who sighs and rolls his eyes.
"Fine, take it"
