~~Taehyunie's POV—

I looked in front of me. "So,,, I have something to tell you." He nodded. "Spill it." I gulped. "I-I... I like, uhm..."
He lift his eyebrow. "You like what ?" Ugh. The faster you let it out, the sooner you will be relieved.
"I-..." I whined. "I can't do it, Kai!!" He sighed. "It's okay, Hyun! Have fainth in yourself, I know you can do it ! " He tried to cheer me up, but I was still anxious. I'm gonna freaking confess to him, for god's sake ! "Okay. One more time!" He said. "Let's go."
I took a deep breath in, determined to do it.
"So, Beomgyu, I have something to tell you. It's really important. I need to tell you this, because I want to feel relieved." He nodded. "I'm all ears." I took a deep breath. "I... I love you."
~~Kai's POV—
I felt my heart racing.
It really feels like he means it, like he's saying he loves me.
I'm not supposed to feel anything. He loves Beomgyu, not me.
So why does it feels like he's saying it to me?
Why am I happy that he's going to get rejected ?
I should be sad, I mean, he loved Beomgyu for 2 years now. Instead, I feel like I could have a chance. A chance of making him fall in love with me, and even dating me ;
you and I,
together,
forever.
"Great !" I said. "I think- no you are ready." Taehyun half-smiled. "Thank you, really. It helps me a lot." He hugged me, I hugged him back, and I felt complete. Complete with him.
Meanwhile...
~~Beomgyu's POV—
"I'm bo~red !" I whined. "Can't we take a break ? We've been dancing for 2 hours." The oldest glared at me. "Don't you think I'm tired, too ? I know it's hard, but we have to keep on practicing. You're still making a lot of mistakes ! If you wanted to chill, you should've joined Taehyun and Kai to sing instead." I crossed my arms and turned around.
"Why're you scolding only me ? Soobin makes a lot of mistakes, too !" Soobin, who was looking at me, turned his gaze toward Yeonjun. "I agree. I made - what ? - 8 mistakes ?" The older member sighed. He paused for a moment, opened his mouth, searching for an argument, but in the end he just let it go.
" Anyways, let's have a break." He stated.
Tch. Trying to get away with a break, right?
I had a huge smile plastered on my face. "Finally !" I rushed toward my bottle of water. I took it and drank the - now hot - water. I may look cheerful - like I always am-, but in reality, I was fuming inside.
Soobin is the favorite kid, I'm sure of it. Yeonjun always complains about my mistakes yet he never says anything to Soobin-ah. "Fighting !" and "Keep up the good work!" are the only things Yeonjun Hyung says to him. So why is he so rude towards me ? Maybe he thinks I'm annoying ? Or that I'm just a spoiled brat who's never satisfied ?
Or maybe the answer is clear, simple : he likes Soobin-ah, so he never dares to scold him. Obviously. I'm always righteous, everyone knows it. Perhaps the last brain cell in +x+ doesn't only belongs to Taehyun, maybe I have a little bit of it too !

I wish I was the favorite child.
I wish Yeonjun-Hyung would look at me the way he looks at Soobin-ah.
