Chapter twelve | Exam's week

We had to leave soon but my dad, mom and brothers haven't arrived.
"Vi we have to go now!"
"What about-"
"Vi they will come later I promise okay?"
"Bye Nan!" I hugged her tightly. I'm really going to miss her.
"Bye Vivi and good luck on your exams!"
"Thank you nan!"

"VIVIAN KING WE HAD JUST ARRIVED FROM PARIS AND YOU ALREADY ARE STUDYING?"
"Yes now please don't yell I need to focus"
"Okayy have fun?"
"Thank you!"
It was the first term and many of them said it's going to be tough. It's only been a week since I came here and we already have exams but I didn't mind it as I would always score the highest in class and the whole grade. I had to study more than I usually did because I really don't know how hard it would be.
Vi stop panicking we will do just fine okay?

It is officially exam's week! I was proud of myself that I managed to understand and memorize everything but at the same time I tried not to overwork myself.
"Morning Li, are you ready?"
"Duhh!"
"Let the exam week begin"
"YESSSS!"
"You're excited-"
"Hell yeah~"
"Keep the energy for exam Li you will need it"
"Okay"
Our first exam was history and it was my favorite subject. I was seated next to Xavier and surprisingly he wasn't there. I mean it wasn't unexpected as he was studying from home due to family emergencies based on our teachers.
5 minutes before exam Xavier had just arrived at class. He had a new haircut that suited him. Vi focus on your exams and not your rival. I have heard that Xavier would always be top of class and grade so now he is my rival. I really hope I score higher than him.
"You may begin now!" the professor said and everyone started their paper.
Just like clockwork hours passed, hours became days and it was the end of exams week! I never felt so free in years~ The marks were gonna come out by Saturday and I'm really excited to know my marks.
"Hey Vi I'm going to a party, wanna come along?"
"Sure, just give me a minute to change!"
"Take your time!"
I decided to put on my favorite red dress.
"How's this?"
Lily jaw dropped is that good or-
"DAMNN GURLL!"
Lily wore an emerald green dress that suited her.
"WOW LI THAT DRESS SUITS YOU!"
"Thank you, let's go?"
I nodded and we left.
I parked my car in front of a mansion.
"You sure this is the right address Li?"
"Positive!"
We went in and the house was packed with people and from the outside it looked pretty normal. I looked around to find a less packed area and I found an empty room.
I knocked on the door before entering just in case. No one opened it so it must be empty. I snuck in and was glad to escape the crowd for a few minutes.
I sat in the room all alone for 10 minutes then left as I didn't want to make Li panic.
I found Li and she looked worried and it is all because of me great-
"Hey Li!"
"OH VI I HAVE NEVER MISSED YOU SO MUCH IN MY LIFE!"
"I was only gone for like 10 minutes-"
"I thought you were kidnapped-"
"LILY!"
"Sorry"
"It's fine I shouldn't have left you"
"Never do it again"
"Okay mom"
"Great now let's partyyyyyy"
Li was in the crowd and I went to get a drink because I was thirsty. I just needed a cup of water but the whole kitchen was full with all types of beer.
"Hello love"
I heard someone whisper behind me and it was definitely Xavier. I turned around and saw him.
"No saying hi to me I'm heartbroken" he looked heartbroken.
I ignored him and was still looking for a cup. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO JUST FIND A CUP! Calm down Vi let's just keep looking-
"What are you looking for?"
I still ignored him as I was really thirsty.
"Okay then don't talk I'll just watch you"
I tried so hard to not punch him. I FOUND A CUP FINALLY! I filled it up with tap water and drank it.
I wasn't in the mood to talk to Xavier so I went to find Lily.
"Hey Vi wanna head back?"
"Sure!"
I was glad we were leaving.
"We were at that party for an hour, can you believe it?"
"Yeah and I'm never partying again Li"
"What happened?"
"I was dying of thirst and there were no cups!"
"Yikes, sorry to hear"
"Don't worry it's fine"
As soon as we reached the dorm Li began throwing up. I think she drank too much beer for the night. I gave Li aspirin and a glass of water.
"Li take this it will help you"
Li took it and I went to make her some mac and cheese.
"There you go Li"
"Thank you Vi"
"How are you feeling now?"
"Better thank you for your help"
"You're welcome Li, take some rest I'll see you in the morning"
"Nite Vi~"
