Your POV
I'm getting ready for my date with Seth when I hear my front door open.
Colby's the only one with a key so I yell out "Colbs?"
"Yessum? Where are you?" He yellsback.
"My room doing my makeup!" I tell my idiot of a brother.
As soon as he walks in he looks at my outfit.
"Okay good you aren't over dressed." He says.
What the hell is he talking about?
"What?" I ask confused
"Oh. Seth told me what you guys are doing tonight so I'm making sure you dress appropriately." He tells me.
So Seth did get this approved by Colby.
Wait.
Appropriately?
"Appropriately?" I ask.
" I realize how weird that may sound, but I meant like appropriate for the occasion. Basically making sure it's not a dress or a skirt." He tells me.
"Why can't I wear a dress or a skirt?" I ask even more confused now.
"You'll see when you get there." My brother says ominously.
"Ok? Well. Is what I'm wearing okay then?"
"Yea but you might want to put your hair up so it doesn't get in your face. There's a slight breeze." He tells me.
I listen and put my hair up.
"There. Better?" I ask showing him this:
Colby just nods in response before asking "is that what you are for sure wearing?"
I nod and stand up to show him the full outfit:
"Perfect. You look great kiddo. Seth will be here soon. Make sure to have fun and be safe." Colby says while heading back out of my room to leave.
"Thank you! Bye I love you broski!" I yell to him as he leaves.
"Bye! Love you too little shit!" He yells back laughing.
I text Seth.
You: I'm ready :)
Seth: I'll be over in a second I somehow managed to lose my keys lmao
You: oh boy lmao
I get nervous as I sit and wait.
