The large field was deserted at this particular time and under the archway two figures emerged. Harry and Oliver Wood. In their hands they were carrying a large wooden crate as they walked into the field. 'Quidditch is easy enough to understand.' Oliver began. In Oliver's hand was a small wooden bat with metal parts wrapped around it.

'Yes! Quidditch!' James celebrated.

'Wonder if he's as good as you prongs.' Peter shrugged.

'He definitely is he's brilliant!' Ron confirmed.

'Each team has seven players. Three chasers, two beaters, one keeper and a seeker. That's you.' Oliver explained. They set the crate down on the ground and Wood crouched down to open the chest. He grabbed a maroonish coloured ball that had the Hogwarts crest on it and dents in the sides. 'There are three kinds of balls, this one's called the quaffle.' The Gryffindor captain threw the ball into Harry's hands. 'This one's called the quaffle. Now the chasers handle the quaffle and try to put it through one of those three hoops.' He said in his thick accent. 'The keeper, that's me, defends the hoops. With me so far?' He asked.

'This is exciting! I love quidditch.' James said happily.

'Really! We didn't know that!' Rabastan said in mock shock.

Harry threw the quaffle back to Oliver as he spoke, 'I think so. What are those.' He said turning his attention to two balls in the chest that were rattling and making the chest shake. Oliver put the quaffle back in its place and picked up the bat from the floor. 'You better take this.' He said handing the boy the bat.

'That's my bat!' Young Sirius pointed at the screen.

'Not anymore it's not.' Fred said.

'Oh yeah it's ours now.' George smirked.

'It's always gonna be my bat! I engraved my initials on the handle.' Young Sirius told them.

'That's why it says the word sob on my bat. I thought someone was just having a bad day.' Fred realised.

'No That's my initials.' Older Sirius piped up.

'Wow that's quite sad.' Marlene giggled.

'Shut up Marlene.' Young Sirius grumbled.

Harry took it into his hands and looked at it. Oliver pressed on the latch holding down the squirming ball and it was released and it immediately shot up high into the air, the two boys following it with their eyes.

'Bludgers. Gotta love them.' Marlene winced.

The bludger soon began to fall back down again. 'Careful now its coming back.' Oliver warned. Harry stepped to the side and prepared to swing the bat as it came closer and it collided with the ball, sending it soaring through two statue being held aloft by a statue on top of part of the castle.

'That was actually pretty impressive.' Older Sirius nodded slightly.

'You've got some good arm strength.' Young Sirius agreed.

Oliver looked impressed as he watched the ball. 'Not Bad Potter. You'd make a fair beater.' He complimented and Harry grinned at him. The ball soon began to zoom back over to them. 'Uh Oh.' Oliver said. The ball went straight into his arms and he fell to the floor with a grunt holding the ball tightly in his grip. He squirmed around on the ground, fighting against the bludger and eventually got it back in the chest and quickly pulled the latch over it again, locking it in place.

'Is it just me or was that sort of hot in a weird way.' Marlene asked.

'I can see where you're coming from.' Rebekah nodded in agreement.

'No comment.' Alex merely said.

'What was that!' Harry asked in amazement.

'See? Harry thought it was impressive as well.' Marlene pointed at the screen.

'Bludger. Nasty little buggers.' Oliver told him, slightly out of breath. 'But you are a seeker.' Oliver reminded, pointing a finger at the boy. He opened two small doors decorated with a lion, a snake, a badger and an eagle to reveal a small golden ball. He grabbed it out of the case and held it. 'The only thing I want you to worry about is this.' He said holding the snitch up into his eye line between his thumb and forefinger.

'The snitch. The best ball.' James sighed in content.

'Agreed.' Nova nodded.

'It's so small how do you even see it.' Peter asked.

'That's what she said.' Nova whispered in Harry's ear.

'You need to stop that is actually disturbing.' Harry said with an amused look on his face.

'What did she say?' Andy asked.

'Whispering weird jokes in my ear.' Harry rolled his eyes.

'The golden snitch.' He handed it to Harry.

'I like this ball.' Harry said.

'ah you like it now. Just wait, it's wicked fast and damn near impossible to see.' Oliver told him.

'See it is hard to see.' Older Sirius said.

'It's not that hard to see.' Regulus shrugged.

'Am I supposed to catch it?' Harry asked.

'You are. You have to do so before the other team's seeker. You catch this the game's over. You catch this Potter and we win.' Oliver explained.

'Unless the other team is enough points ahead that even if you did catch the snitch they'd still have more points.' Charlie added.

Wings emerged from the ball and began to flit extremely fast it made the wings pretty much invisible.

It flew out of his hand and Oliver looked around in the sky for it while Harry kept his eyes on it right above him in front of him, following its every move.

'How do people do that! I lose sight of it as soon as it's released.' Young Remus said amazed.

'Practice and good eyesight.' Harry listed.

'Then how do you see it. Your eyesight is terrible mate.' Ron laughed.

'Glasses.' Harry gapped the glasses on his face.

'Whoah.' Harry whispered.

'It is amazing isn't it.' James nodded.

A small man wearing green robes and grey hair stood on top of a large stack of books, looking over a class of students. Professor Filius Flitwick. 'One of a wizard's most rudimentary skills is levitation or the ability to make objects fly.' The man explained.

'Charms class! I love charms.' Dorcas smiled.

'So do I. It's so fun.' Alex agreed.

'Do you all have your feathers? Good.' The man said but only Hermione responded by slightly lifted her feather in the air while everyone just stared at various things. Ron was resting chin on a stack of two books where he sat next to Hermione. Nova was sat opposite them with the Slytherins next to Carolyn and unfortunately her cousin Draco.

'Now don't forget the nice wrist movement we've been practicing. The swish and flick.' He said taking out his wand to demonstrate. 'Everyone.' He encouraged.

'Swish and flick.' Everyone recited as they did the action with their wands. Harry was day next to Seamus who was sat next to Ron. 'Good. Oh and enunciate. Wingardium Leviosa. Off you go then.' He said.

'I'm excited to see how this goes.' Mary said.

'Aren't we all.' James nodded.

'Isn't Harry sat next to the kid who blew up the water in the goblet?' Bill recognised.

'Yeah Seamus.' Harry confirmed.

'Wingardium leviosa.' People began to say all around the room.

'Wingardium leviosarr.' Draco said.

'You're saying it wrong.' Nova told him.

'No I'm not.' Draco denied.

'You are but if you really are so confident then continue.' Nova shrugged.

'Probably should've listened to her. I couldn't get it for ages until I saw her doing it.' Draco admitted.

'See you should always listen to me!' Nova said.

'Wingardium Leviosa.' Ron said and began to frantically wave his wand around at the feather as if he was hammering a nail into it.

'Ron I hate to break it to you but I don't think that's very swishy or flicky.' Ginny laughed.

Hermione looked unimpressed and held her hand out towards his. 'Look Stop stop stop.' Hermione said. 'You're going to take someone's eye out besides you're saying it wrong. It's levioooooosa not Leviosarr.' She corrected.

'You do it then if you're so clever. Go on go on!' Ron encouraged.

'Never underestimate Hermione's spell skills because more than likely she already knows how to do it before we even learn about it.' Harry chuckled softly.

'So do you. I've seen you reading ahead about DADA.' Hermione fired back.

'He May be like James but he is still Lily's son. Course he likes books.' Young Sirius laughed.

Hermione picked up her wand and hovered it over her wand. 'Wingardium Leviosa.' She recited, doing the swish and flick movement with her wrist. Soon enough, the feather began to float high into the air in the classroom and eyes were drawn to it as he levitated. Ron only looked slightly wide eyed at it.

Flitwick looked delighted at the feather. 'Oh well done! See here everyone, Miss Granger's done it. Splendid.' Hermione looked smugly over at Ron as he slumped on the table in defeat.

'Aww poor Ronnie's embarrassed.' Fred teased.

'Shut up Fred.' Ron mumbled.

'Well done dear.' Flitwick congratulated.

Seamus picked his wand back up and began waving it at the father again. 'Wingard leviosa. Wingard-' he recited before a bright light formed causing Flitwick to look shocked and taken aback and the feather blew up in Seamus's face, making soot cover his face and Harry had some on his cheek.

'Think you're going to need another feather there.' James laughed.

'I think we're going to need another feather over here Professor.' Harry said not taking his eyes off the disintegrated feather.

'Definitely.' James nodded.
