Beginnings
>This is set in Konoha a little bit before the pain arc<
[Naruto Pov]
"Hey Naruto!"i heard Sakura yelling at me
"Sakura-Chan whats up?" I asked
"Lady Tsunade summoned you to her office"
"Oh really are we going on a mission?" i asked cheerfully
"No...actually i don't know who you're going with...could be Shino for all i know...so good luck"
"Aughh! not Shino ... anyway Sakura-chan do you know what the mission is?"
"No clue actually but you're supposed to be meeting with Tsunade right now so get going!"
"Oh right... well i'll see you later then. thanks Sakura-chan"
"Bye Naruto"

I walked into Tsunade's office to see only 1 other ninja in there
"Oh hey Hinata are you my partner?"
"H-HUH P-Partner?!?"
"Well yeah of course"
"B-but t-thats-"
"Naruto! ...stop trying to embarrass Hinata and just go with her, she will debrief you on the mission... Dismissed"
"I wasn't trying to embarrass her though, why would you think that?"
"Just go naruto!"
Me and Hinata left Granny Tsunade's office and started discussing the mission

[Shizune Pov]
Shizune asked Tsunade "Is he acting dense for Hinata?"
"Unfortunately i think he is just really dense"
"Oh i see"
"...."
"...."
"Hey. 5000 yen that they will start dating"
"Your on!"

[Naruto Pov]
"So we just have to collect the scroll and take down any ninja that attack right Hinata?"
"Y-yes, the Hideout is a bit of a way outside of the village so we may be t-together for a couple days..."
"Oh i see... thats fine i don't think we get to talk much normally so this could actually be fun...*sigh* but that means i wont be able to see Sakura-Chan for a couple days either"
"Hmph" Hinata looked dead ahead with a cute pouty face on when she heard Naruto talking about Sakura as it made her feel like she has no chance with Naruto
"Hey Hinata are you okay? your cheeks have gone kind of red"
"H-huh im f-fine"
"Are you sure you aren't sick?" i said about 2 inches from her face
Then i saw her eyes 'they're magical...how have i never seen her like this...she's beautiful'
Before she could say anything back i saw her eyes closing and her falling down
"Hinata?...Hinata!...HINATA!"
I grabbed her hand "i-its so soft" i became so shocked that i let go of her hand
*thud*
"Shit"
I picked her up and carried her in my arms bridal style
i turned to look at her peacefully resting in my arms 'was she always this pretty?'
I decided to set off and start heading in the direction Hinata said the hide out was, that way Hinata wont see me as a total failure.
