Ned was in fact right, Michelle and Peter lasted 1 week before they both whined to each other about missing their daughter, packed up and headed home early where May was at their home house sitting and looking after Athena while the others came by to help or cheer the little girl up,
"Athena mommies here!" Michelle burst through the door of her home startling the others who came for a visit that day to help out, running into the home and straight to Athena who scream excitedly, stopping from crying about her parents, gripping onto her mom who picked her up and cuddled with her motherly,
"Aren't you meant to be on a honeymoon?" Sam asked arms crossed amused, "you have another week to go,"
"Athena!" Peter dropped the bags at the door and ran over taking Athena fatherly hugging her to him, "Oh god, we are so sorry we left!" he kissed her head swaying with her happy to have her in his arms again,
"You two couldn't last without her!" Ned laughed hysterically from where he sat,
"Oh we are so sorry!" Michelle gasped seeing Athena's tear streaked face as she rested her head on Peter's shoulder snuggling into his fatherly warmth, "Mommy and daddy are back now, it's okay sweetie... we just went to have a little bit adult time but we are back now," she cooed, kissing her daughter motherly on the head, patting her hair softly,
"why didn't you tell us she had been crying?" Peter asked his aunt frowning rubbing Athena's back comfortingly,
"Because you two needed a small honeymoon!" May laughed shaking her head, "Pete she was okay, she just missed your guys cuddles but I assured her you guys would be back,"
Michelle sighed, "it was really nice the honeymoon, perfect even, but we did miss our baby," she told them smiling as Peter got Athena to sleep for a nap,
"Oh we've been trying for hours to get her to nap!" Tony dropped onto the lounge tiredly,
"she just needs MJ and i..." Peter chuckled softly still swaying with Athena, "we promised to always protect and love her, after she lost her biological parents, leaving her behind even for a week really worried us,"
"Oh... she's never going to feel the pain of parents leaving her again," Michelle breathed out resting her head gently on Athena's, caressing her cheek softly, "thank you everyone for taking care of her but I think it stressed us out way to much leaving her," she looked up chuckling, "But we ordered to get meat and food delivered so we're going to make dinner and thank you all,"
"Oh you two! she's family, it was no worries!" Pepper told them amused,
"We know but really, we'll cook dinner," Peter told them chuckling, "Okay my princess have some mommy cuddles, she missed you so much," he handed sleeping Athena to Michelle so sat down to cradle her to her safely and comfortingly, "She actually cried to me last night about feeling so guilty leaving Athena,"
"Sue me I'm a mom!" Michelle laughed at everyones amused faces, "Oh my baby girl!," she cooed and tapped Athena's thigh to soothe her in her sleep,
"Aww I was really hoping you would come back pregnant," Sarah pouted a bit,
"Sarah!" John gasped at Jos wife dramatically, "she is out oldest!"
"she is married!" Sarah laughed at him slapping his arm,
"well I wouldn't know that until weeks from now," Michelle replied amused, "Peter and I agreed, it happens, when it happens, we're not going to push or stress about it," she added as she rocked with Athena a bit still tapping her side gently,
"Chelle Chelle!" KC and Rue gasped coming down from napping upstairs only to see their sister and squealed rushing over to her,
"Oh my goodness, my favourite twins!" KC as they climbed up onto the lounge, kissing their cheeks sisterly, giving them hugs all being mindful of sleeping Athena on her lap,
"they were so upset this afternoon when we told them family dinner with you and Peter wasn't happening this week," John chuckled, "But I guess I was wrong on that,"
"Okay sissy's, sit down now, we don't want to wake Athena," Michelle told her sisters, holding their hands as they sat down, "Now what is this we have?" she asked seeing them both had colouring books and crayons,
"Mommy and daddy got us! So we could colour in like you!" Rue happily replied opening her one up to a fresh page to colour in like her sister with her own book,
"Oh wow! thats amazing!" Michelle told them chuckling and smiling widely, "Damn, I haven't drawn in a long time!" she sat back thoughtful in realisation,
Peter smiled at her before leaving through the house, coming back with a fresh new drawing journal and pencils, "I think you should get back into it, you were really amazing at it," he sat beside her and showed her the book and pencils, "Come on, I can cuddle with Athena," he smiled assuringly,
"I've probably lost my touch," Michelle sighed as she took them thanking him smiling as he cuddled with Athena again, breathing out as she opened to a fresh page, grabbing a pencil out,
"I think I lost you a bit artist Michelle," she told herself as she stared at the page before looking at Peter and Athena, who Peter would rock and sway with their sleeping daughter, watching her with a fatherly smile on his face so proud to have them as their daughter,
Smiling and picked up the notebook, shifted to sit back into the lounge, placing her feet on the lounge with her, knees up as she rested the pad on her legs, starting to sketch, often looking to Peter and Athena as she did, grabbing another pencil and twisted her curls into a bun with it, a messy but cute bun,
"I'm back," she smiled widely, cracking her neck as she more intently focused on her drawing, stretching peacefully,
"Thats the MJ we became friends with at the cafeteria table," Ned chuckled watching her proudly, "The scary curly haired girl who said random things out of no where but hit hard. The one who use to watch Peter leave to so Spiderman stuff, the one who stuck her rude finger up at us at the homecoming dance," he chuckled, "thats our MJ,"
"The one I fell in love with." Peter smiled eyes drifting to Michelle as she bit her lip in focus, "remember when she had that purple streak in her hair?" he asked Ned,
"Oh yeah, she was the schools badass," Ned chuckled nodding his head, "she use to terrify flash,"
"she still does!" Peter laughed fist bumping him and did their handshake, "we're still us, no matter how much we grow, we're still the losers and she's till our intimating MJ," he chuckled shaking his head,
"We should start movie night again," Michelle spoke up making people jolt thinking she wasn't listening, "Oh yeah, I can hear everything," she grinned as she drew, "thats how I knew Peter quite the matching band and robotics lab," she quoted herself from back in her high school years,
"What? I'm not obsessed with him, just observant," Ned, Peter and Michelle said all together when people looked at her funnily before they laughed sighing as they remembered it all,
"Movie night sounds dope, MJ," Ned agreed with her nodding,
"Alright you boys bring me gummy bears and -"
"sour worms," Peter and Ned rolled their eyes amused and knowingly,
"And I will bring the -"
"Popcorn and chips," the boys continued chuckling, "and no Star Wars!" they added again before she could speck up grinning at her,
Michelle stared at them before giving them the middle finger, "You guys are losers," she told them shaking her head,
"then why do you sit with us?" Ned asked her holding back his laughs,
"because I don't have any friends," Michelle replied shrugging before going back to drawing,
"How you were so wrong, you sat in that seat at our table since 7th year. We were always friends just never talked about it," Peter sighed leaning back into the lounge, "Movie night tomorrow?" he asked her and Ned,
"yeah man!" "whatever loser" Ned and Michelle both replied at the same time,
"I so missed seeing that in my apartment after schools..." May sighed happily, giggling at the three, "Welcome back you three, I missed you guys," she smiled at them making them look back and smiled at her too, "don't ever change from this friendship,"
"We won't," The three said together chuckling looking at each other proudly, they were the best of friends and that won't change for anything,
